Whether the cheap, low-capacity Walmart iPhone? MacRumors’ Arnold Kim now anticipates that Walmart will be offering 8GB iPhones for $197, with no mention of smaller capacities or lower prices. The price is two bucks cheaper than at an AT&T retail store.

MacBlogz’s Aviv Hadar mentioned late last week that their sources at AT&T said a 4GB model was “simply not true.”

The original story, from BoyGeniusReport, was treated with a heavy dose of skepticism even from them, as the source wasn’t one of their usual fonts of reliable information.

Apple is trying to push this phone beyond even the middle class. The iPhone will now be in every small town in America. Beyond even the reach of Best Buy and AT&T stores, Walmarts are, for better or for worse, where a huge swath of Americans from all income brackets do their weekly shopping. The iPhone will be in front of every face, day after day. Week after week.

Just like the iPod has been.

If there is a $99 version, this will tempt the lower income demographic a bit more, but the biggest expense ?? by a landslide ?? is the AT&T monthly fees. In fact, on a few of AT&T’s plans, the $99 will be eclipsed in the first month of wireless charges alone. This, however, will sell many more phones and won’t tarnish the brand.

In related news, the San Jose Mercury News notes that Bay Area Walmart stores may begin carrying iPhone handsets before Christmas, citing employees and managers at those stores.

Otherwise, expect the devices to go on sale December 28.

Where does one find the best iPhone sale? You can simply shop your normal brick and mortar stores and find a brand spanking new iPhone or you can go online and shop directly from the official Apple iPhone(TM) store, Walmart, Target and many other online and brick and mortar stores. But, will you get the best deal?

Let me give you a quick run down on why the iPhone is becoming the technical gadget to own.

The iPhone for one thing is a sleek and tiny hand-held computer whose screen is a beautiful touch sensitive piece of work. The high end models have any where from 4 to 8 gigs of storage and can hold about 800 to 1800 songs. Plus, it includes a cellphone, video(iPod), email terminal, web browser, camera, alarm clock, a Palm type organizer and of course, right now it is one heck of a status symbol.

The biggest draw to the iPhone is it’s software. It’s fast, beautiful, menu free and really very simple to operate. The lists scroll with a flick of a finger and is just much more fun to use, which is something that cannot be said about most cellphones.

Okay, but finding a good iPhone sale is going to be a little time consuming. You search the newspaper ads, online stores and such but can’t seem to find the right one on sale for the price that you are willing to pay. You just know that you have got to get one quickly for your nagging daughter or wife…

One of the big draws of the new and sleek iPhone is the capability of downloading music, games, movies, TV(movies) and so much more. The iPhone is quickly replacing your normal bland looking semi-functional cell phones. You can do so much more with an iPhone.

LOL. Or just maybe looking to get one for yourself. Plus, you keep hearing about being able to unlock the iPhone and want to find one that is for sale. But, finding an unlocked iPhone on sale can be a little complicated. Think you can find one in the stores? I seriously doubt it. Ever since that kid who took his iPhone apart and found out how to unlock it, the phones have seen a tremendous growth in sales.

There is already iPhone unlocking software available which will let you use your unlocked iPhone through almost any wireless cell provider avaiable! There are people all over the world who are realizing the potential of this new and slick device. Cell phone usage will never be the same and the technology just keeps growing at an amazing pace.

There are some places where you can find exactly what you need. All the new and used iPhones, unlocked, unlocking software, accessories and more. You just have to really look to find the right iPhone sale.

Just keep digging and you can find just the right one you need at the best possible price. There are resources where these items can be found at very reasonable cost.

We spent some touching (get it?) minutes with the new LG Dare that’s hitting Verizon Wireless today, and while we didn’t come away from the experience a changed human being, we’ve gotta congratulate LG and Verizon for the obvious effort they’ve put into this unit. Particularly with the hardware the phone seems determined to differentiate itself from its iPhone competition, with helpful tactile feedback while typing, (almost helpful) handwriting recognition, video recording (in slow-mo, if you’d like) and even editing, and the beefed-up photo taking capabilities that a 3.2 megapixel sensor and built-in flash provide. The basics aren’t too bad either, with a sturdy and bright screen, peppy EV-DO Rev A., expandable memory and a flush 3.5mm headphone jack.

We hear Apple popped out a new phone or something today. All hearsay, but we though we’d run it by you. The $199 pricepoint for the 8GB, Exchange support, A-GPS and 3G data all make an extremely compelling case, but Apple still has plenty to improve on — there’s still no physical keyboard, if you hadn’t noticed (a dealbreaker for some), and Apple has yet to confirm things as common-sensical as copy and paste, video recording and MMS. There’s also another little problem for a few folks out there: the resale price on your iPhone is now approximately nil, so good luck offloading that sucker. But enough about what we think, what’s on your mind?

If you’re anything like us, just about everyone in your family has called you up this week to ask if you think they should get the iPhone 3G; it really doesn’t help matters that there’s just an absurd amount of (mis)information floating around about it right now, too. So this one’s for you and your fam — we’re dishing out the straight dope on iPhone 3G, a to z, so feel free to pass it on.

So, what’s with the new iPhone 3G?

Well, it’s pretty much the same iPhone as before — except now it’s down to $200, and has way faster 3G data, A-GPS (which is even better than regular GPS), as well as a flush headphone jack (which is great for anyone who doesn’t want to use Apple’s bundled headphones). Oh, and it’s also a little thinner around the edges, and a little thicker at the center. If you want to know what it was like to try out, check out our iPhone 3G hands-on.

How’d they get the price so low? The iPhone used to be crazy expensive.

Actually, depending on how you do the math it’s not actually cheaper. Now, in some countries the iPhone is free when you sign up for service, and in the US you’ll pay $200 for the 8GB model — half what it was a month ago — so you’re definitely paying less up front. But the data plans cost more now, so you might wind up spending more money over the long run.

Um, ok.

Look, gadgets only get cheaper as time goes on, and Apple’s sold enough iPhones to continue to lower their cost to manufacture each unit. But more importantly, Apple’s re-arranged its business deals to get carrier subsidies. Basically, what that means for Apple is they’ve decided to stop asking their carrier-partners for a cut of your monthly service fees. In exchange, the carriers have agreed to pay a significant chunk of the cost of your new iPhone 3G in order to get you to sign up.

So everybody supposedly wins: Apple sells more devices and still makes good money, AT&T gets more subscribers, and you get a cheaper iPhone. But there is a financial toll to this: AT&T estimates that helping you pay for your new iPhone will actually cost them $600 million through 2010. But clearly the numbers indicate that the short term cost will be worth it for them the long run.

Does that mean Apple doesn’t make as much money per phone?

For all we know Apple might actually be making more money per phone now. With the original iPhone 3G, you paid “full price” for an iPhone — $600 at its high point. Now you’ll be paying no more than $200 (and as little as nothing in some countries) for the 8GB model, so we don’t really know exactly how much of Apple’s price the carriers are knocking off. We think it’s fair to assume it’d still be in the $400-450 retail range, though, if it wasn’t subsidied. Which it is.

The development in the technology has paved way for new technical gadgets. Now it’s the time for convergence in the technology, which enables the best features to congregate in single instrument or gadget. It helps the customers get rid of the complexities. iPhones are the typical example for this. It is the kind of mobile phone that embeds all the qualities of information, communication and entertainment.

Packed with many special and potent features, IPhone is one of the ultimate techno gadgets in the market at the present time. Since its launch in early 2007, iPhone has been an unremitting part of breathtaking newspaper articles, tech blogs over internet, which covers the IPhone reviews in big flashes. In particular, we can fairly say that the new invention safely stand with all the hype written over the inestimable iPhone reviews.

The most attractive part of the Apple iPhone is its 3.5″ touch screen display, which has a high resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. For people with never-ending hunger for music, this phone will stand tall. The phone has inherited most of the goodies of a typical iPod, plus it also features mobile connectivity to sites like iTunes, to browse, buy and download music. The 3.5 inches screen is a visual delight - don’t be surprised if you see the screen changing from portrait to landscape, if you hold iPhone horizontally! It is the Accelerometer feature of the phone.

Rallying around the success story of iPod, Apple, launched iPhones in January 2007. iPhones were first launched, in the United States and later in the United Kingdom, Germany and France. The launch was surrounded by media speculations, which stayed for several months. The pre-launch iPhone reviews promulgated lots of biases about its connotations.

With the first launch in USA in January 2007, follow by United Kingdom, Germany and France. We are expecting to see the 3G iPhone come to Asia in end of 2008 as an unlocked version.

You will be able to own one iPhone if you willing to part away $400 to $500. Bear in mind that is for a 2G version. The new iPhone, which operates on faster 3G cellular networks, will cost you above $600 USD when it launch in Jun 2008. Apple will be trying its heart out to meet its stated objective of selling 10 million iPhones in 2008!

Iphone Reviews

Consumers have read many iphone reviews since Apple launched the phone of all phones. There are those who have great admiration for the iphone. Others are scathing in their criticism. However, whether good or bad the iphone reviews are part of an industry that is flourishing. Millions of consumers are walking around with iphones. This gadget has the power to keep the world in touch.

There is one thing that everybody agrees on. The design of this phone is the best so far and has even been called art. There is attention to detail. The minimalism gives the phone an authentic futuristic look and feel. It is something a consumer would expect from the Japanese. The iphone has a real Zen aura about it. It looks free and super cool. Slim enough to fit into any purse or pocket. Nobody wants to. Everybody wants to show off their beautiful gadget.

Apple has used quality materials. The optical grade glass fa?ade has a stainless steel edging. Smooth edges make it safe on the softest skin. Turn it over and the rear is a finely milled aluminum finer than the best currency. Anything unsightly is covered by a black strip of plastic. Even the antenna ray is hidden. The serial number and Apple logo can just be seen. The 2 megapixel camera lens is faintly concave. The rear is flat and even.

A glaring headache is caused by the plug that is buried too deeply. This means that the majority of headphones cannot be used. The problem is because Apple has fitted a standard port in an unusual way. The result is that a lot of consumers will have to buy a part to use this feature. However, the iphone ear buds have a good enough sound for those who want to use them.

There are good reasons why consumers choose the iphone. Apart from the attractive exterior the phone has user friendly software. It keeps the user in contact via emails displayed in a cheerful way. The user has access to You Tube videos. The iphone also tracks weather reports and sports scores. A manual is not mandatory as the graphics are designed to be friendly.

It is clear that the iphone has been designed from the point of view of the consumer. This innovative piece of techno is in reality a handheld computer. It has proved to be fascinating to the consumer. Apple cannot keep up with the huge demand for this friendly little device. There is no doubt that iphone reviews will continue to be written about this sophisticated product.

iPhone movie downloads are selling like hot cakes now. With the new iPhone emerging on the market, hundreds of thousands of the new phone-cum-iPod are sold overnight. This also means that all of a sudden, there are the same numbers of owners wanting to lay their hands on iPhone movie downloads for their new gadgets.

Where are the folks going for the iPhone movies?

iPhones come in two versions, the 4 GB and the 8 GB models. A movie is typically 700 MB in size, so for a 4 GB model, it can easily store one or two nice movies. Not much very compared with the iPod but still, we must remember that it is first a phone then an MP4 player. Whichever the case, people are still interested to download iPhone movies for a cheap price.

iTunes, the parent site of course is a natural place to think of when looking for iPhone movie downloads. But with so many competitors nowadays as well as conversion software around, these online movie stores like Walmart, Amazon and so on are giving it a run for their money. Prices can range from below $10 to higher prices depending on the agreements they have worked out with the movie studios.

The next favorite places to feed your iPhone with iPhone movie downloads would be the paid membership services. These services run on a subscription basis. For a fee of less than $49.95, you can practically enter the site and download as many movies as you wish. Many genres, classics and the latest blockbusters are available for the price of one DVD. You get to keep and watch any full length DVD quality movie once you have paid a flat-fee and never be billed per download.

Certainly, looking at the various options, it is clear that many are flocking to these movie sites that offer lifetime membership to download movies for their iPhones. The trouble is, with dozens of choices, it is hard to pick the right one.

iPhone owners are getting excited about loading their new gizmos with iPhone music downloads. After all, the phone-cum-digital portable media player can store up to 100 songs easily and allow a playtime of up to 24 hours of audio. This article will show you 7 hot tips to find the top service befitting of your new toy when it comes to iPhone music downloads.

1. Free or Paid

Freebie seekers probably would argue with me on this. There is nothing wrong with wanting free iPhone music downloads. Who doesn’t anyway? But the trouble is that free websites that give you music for free are often associated with exposure to viruses, spyware and adware when downloading media files there. Our phones are too new and precious and to risk exposing them to these harmful elements is a No No.

How about downloading each iPhone song for $0.99 or more at online music services like HMV, iTunes and so on? People wouldn’t mind if it is only one or two song. But if we are going to load up at least a 100 songs or soundtracks, this is going to be expensive.

There are now services that offer a lifetime membership for a flat fee of lower than $49.95 to access unlimited iPhone music downloads. These are the real gems!

2. Variety & Size of iPhone Music Library

Music lovers probably have their preferred music. You may not like pop but to another, pop may really sound heavenly. If you love all kinds of music, go with the services that offer multiple genres from Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Classical to many unheard music genre. Several top sites now offer over 100 million media files including music videos, TV shows and even movies and games.

3. Download Interface

This is a key feature that must not be overlooked. For easy navigation, the interface must be simple to use and does not take long to search and find your music files. One way to get a rough idea is to see how professionally done the site is and to read comments of existing users.

4. Software Applications for Download and Conversion

Several of the more established services are providing free software applications required to download iPhone music as well as movie and video files. They also provide the conversion software needed to convert movies and music file formats into iPhone-compatible formats. The top services also offer you a free DVD conversion software that transfer movies from DVDs to your iPhone.

5. Fast Downloading Speeds

Make sure that the download speeds are fast. Music file sizes are about 3-4 MB per song. Assuming you are downloading 20 songs at a go, the service must not limit your bandwidth usage by slowing down the speed. This is what some poorly run B-grade services do.

6. Safe Download Environment

Some services do not provide good secured environment with a high level of security and safety when you download iPhone music downloads. The last thing you want to worry about is adware, spyware and viruses that could make their way to your computer because the music store refuses to buck up on its system architecture.

7. After-sales Customer Care and Support

Many services just want to make more money. While they promise a 24/7 technical support to entice you to join them, they are hardly around when you need them to help troubleshoot when you face difficulties. Thankfully, there are a few reputable ones who can deliver an excellent level of after-sales service.
