About Ackerman Heritage House

In August of 2010, Lauren Ackerman purchased an iconic, but sadly faded 1888 Victorian known as the Gifford House. So began an illuminating journey of cautiously restoring one of Napa’s famous pink ladies to its former 19th century splendor. Located just two blocks off of downtown Napa’s iconic Main Street at 608 Randolph Street, this historic mansion stands as a reflection of the area’s rich cultural history. Now re-christened the “The Ackerman Heritage House,” this grand old lady has welcomed thousands through her doors since opening in 2015. Today, The Ackerman Heritage House has become a focal point for the downtown Napa scene and stands alone as a one-of-a-kind experience that marries the luxury of architectural design, food and wine.

As the ninth annual festival quickly approaches, you may be wondering what you can expect from your 2019 Patron Circle membership. Well, our team has been hard at work to improve and enhance your festival experience. Here are just a few not-to-miss Patron Circle events taking place during the festival this November.

On Tuesday, we invite all Patrons to join us at the Lincoln Theater for Inspire, a multi-school field trip and core component of our Education + Outreach Programs. This is a great opportunity for Patron Circle members to observe as filmmakers and subjects interact with our young audience, and take part in the direct impact of our non-profit organization, Cinema Napa Valley.

Next, celebrate Wine Wednesday as we kick off NVFF Day 1 with a new Patron Circle Reception. Prior to our opening night film, we celebrate the launch of an exciting new lifestyle magazine, along with a variety of celebrity guests.

After the first red carpet screening of the festival, spend the evening making memories with the film’s special guests at our Opening Night Party. This year, the celebration takes place at the Oxbow Commons, our new Festival Hub. In addition to the party, Patron Circle members enjoy the luxury of an exclusive lounge hosted by Feast it Forward.

Additionally, make sure to check out this year’s Twin Dolphin Los Cabos Lounge at the Lincoln Theater. This lounge offers Green Room access and an elevated food and wine experience before the Celebrity Tributes on Thursday night, as well as throughout the week of the festival.

Back by popular demand on Friday night is Martin’s Friday Night Bash. This aesthetically rich and visually provocative space combines the ingenuity of design with the rustic essence of the Napa Valley. Indulge in the decadence and outrageous atmosphere of one of the festival’s liveliest events.

Finally, raise a glass on Sunday to the end of an incredible NVFF19. Reminisce about your fondest festival memories among friends old and new, and close out the festival in style at our final red carpet screening of the year.

Not a member of the Patron Circle? Don’t worry, there’s still time to join.
