Hello everyone, how's your week so far? It's Friday guys!! :D

Today post is about this great dress by D&G SS 2013.

When I looked at the picture, what really caught my attention was the fabric.
It is made of raffia, which is a synthetic yarn, and the colour is really nice.

The entire collection was great but this piece must I say, was my favourite. The bustier, the belt, the earrings!...everything!

So I decided to draw it.
It's a pencil and watercolour paint.
Doing the belt was fun as well as the tassels.

Hi everyone! How was your weekend?

Mine was very good, I went to a concert in a very unplanned way but, it was really good!! I think I needed that sort of fun :)

But I also took advantage of this end of week to make a portrait in pencil, something that I didn't do for a long time.

My inspiration was this picture of a model rockin' a beautiful messy braid style which I love, don't you?

It is a beauty pic, and a great hairstyle. Braids are in!

Hello everyone, how are you all?!

It's been a long time since my last post but, many things have happened! Exams, my family and I moved house, I'm also teaching now; but thanks God!!

But I missed my blog so much and my paints so I couldn't resist and start to paint again and this is the first one I did.

I saw this picture on Pinterest and I love it, really like this style!
The outfit is casual but still chic. I love stripes on clothes, specially when they have this navy style. Animal print is a trend that I really like, particularly leopard print. So it immediately caught my attention and I fell in love, and the red belt complements it perfectly.

It's a great outfit!

Faves - 4rd Edition: Make-up Girls!

Hello guys, how's been this new year four you all so far?

Mine's have been a little bit... quite. But that's good.

Today's post is about almost all girls love: Make-up!

Thought I have to confess that I almost never wear make-up...don't know why, there are always some make-up products that we just can't live without.

So, here are some of my fave:

1. Black Mascara: even if I don't wear make-up, mascara is a MUST. It can really make the difference.

2. Lip gloss or lipstick: it makes us look girly and a little healthier, giving some colour to the lips.

3. Blush: I'm weird because if I wear mascara and lipstick, I have to use blush!...even though I do not wear make up, right? haha.

My favourite is a pale rose tone (it's also the only one that looks good on me).

And as a bonus, not a product but a of make-up trend: Cat eyes.

A very well done one, looks good in any eyes type.

(sorry about the illustration since it looks like a smoky eye make-up).

But I want to know, what's your favourite make-up products?

I apologize for not posting lately, I've been a little bit sick and busy but I'm here again to continue with this, which is something that I love and enjoy too much.

Liebster Award Nomination

Hello everyone! How are you all?

I'm very happy and surprised and I feel like honoured cos today I was nominated for the Liebster Award!

Thank you so much for nominated me Mezay !!

But what is the Liebster Award about?? Well, The Liebster Award (which it means something like "dear"

in German) is given to up and coming new bloggers that have less than 200 followers, and it's a way to promote and share their blogs and of course a form of recognition for their work. And I think that's great! it is a very good way to meet and disseminate new talents.

How does it work? : When you're nominated, you must to answer a set of 11 questions given by the person who nominated you, then nominate 11 blogs and make 11 questions for them to answer.

So these are the questions given by Mezay :

1.If you had to live in a decade other than the current one, which would you choose.

• I would choose to live in the 50's or the late 80's. I always imagine myself living in that time,

I think they were great :)

2. What are you currently obsessing over (TV show, movie, product, piece of clothing, etc.)?

• I'm currently obsessing with Peter Pan Collars, studded collars and I think pretty much many

pieces of clothes with studs.

I'm also a little bit obsessing with the movie"Across the Universe" (I know it's old but

I'd never seen it complete before) and I just watched it with my little sis a couple

of days ago and I loved it!

3. What is the most recent thing you learnt?

• Umm I've learnt many things lately but it may not be the last thing I learned but it is what I'm applying a lot these days and it is, with a little bit of faith anything is possible; and that no matter what there is always gonna be somebody to help you if you need it.

4. A pet peeve.

• I think one of the things that bothered me the most is when people eat with their mouths

open. It's really annoying besides being of bad education.

5. What is your fave colour?

• It's orange, I love it! it's a happy colour and I feel energic with it. And also it's white. It brings to me peace.

6. Who is your favourite fashion designer?

• I love Calvin Klein but my favourite have always been Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Chanel.

7. Who/what is your style inspiration?

• I have various sources of inspiration but I'm looking up sometimes to Pixie Lott and

Blake lively's pictures just to get a little bit inspired.

8. Which celebrity's closet would you love to raid?

• Nicole Richie's closet definitely! She has a great style!

9. 1 thing you like abut yourself and 1 thing you would like to pass.

• I like the way I have came out of the shyness, I'm more open now.

I don't like the fear I feel sometimes to fail. It makes me feel bad despite knowing that it happens to everyone.

10. Why did you start blogging and what do you hope to achieve through it?

• I started to blogging because I had become an active reader of blogs, and

I realized that I could also make known something of mine and share it with people and would like to do it, something that I had always love to do and blogging was the best way.

Then I decide to start Doux art • Sweet Designs to post and share my illustrations.

And I just hope to get better at what I do every day, hope to inspire others that also love what they do (cos we all have talent, it's just that some maybe haven't discover it yet or they're not sure about it) just to support them to show it and share it, and to make them feel confident about what they do.

and I don't know, maybe someday meet someone to help me move forward.

11. What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?

• I see myself finishing my career and working, I still see myself working on my illustrations (that's a thing that with God's help will last a lifetime)

and on my blog of course. I see myself doing new things and maybe had managed to do something that I wanted or maybe I will be working hard to get it. :)

Hello everyone!

How are you all? Can't believe it's Christmas Time already! I love this time of the year but I gotta be honest...

is it just me or, is the Christmas Spirit decreasing? I feel sad sometimes because of this but well, I think the most important is that we enjoy and spend this time we the people we love the most!

This time illustration is about dots. I LOVE dots! I find them playful, versatile and maybe girly?

I don't know but dots could be a very good option when it comes to dress.

I drew the really chic look of Eleonora Della Guardia. Don't you love the combination of the
soft pink studded jacket with the polka dot dress? It is really great!

Hello! How's your day so far everyone?

Mine is a little bit ..."fast"? Time's flying!

Today I want to share with you some of my favourite accessories.The ones that I use the most.

1. It's an Agate ring, I love it! (It was a present from my Dad)and the colour is beautiful, it is an aqua colour.

2. These are some charm bracelets that I did myself some time ago and they are special for me because of the pendants :)

3. It is my favourite watch of all. (I am one of those people that use to have many watches...even

though I barely use them :| ) So this is the one that I wear almost everyday.

I like them very much! and I love their colours.

Hello everyone! How was your day?

Ok, this is not a fashion illustration but, I decide to start to posting some more types of illustrations
(but always keeping the style and the theme of course).

So the first one is this. I love it.

It reminds me that we should try to enjoy every second, every moment,
no matter how "little" or "big" it is. Just enjoy it because that's life!
and are those moments that actually really counts.

Hello! everybody :)

I'm the kind of girl who has always preferred having loads of bags instead of lots of shoes but,
as we grow up, our tastes change as well as our style.

& even though my love for bags has not faded away, I feel a big love for shoes now,
especially for heels and boots of high cane - love them!

And one of those heels that make me "rave" are Leopard heels.
Besides they are beautiful, they're also feminine, glamorous and very chic.
They can can give a big twist to your outfit.

So I decide to draw one of these. Hope you all like it :)

Hello everybody!

Today post is about a not-that new trend: Ombre.

We've seen it on so many things that it can be a little "overwhelming"... just sometimes.

I saw a few pics of some beautiful clothes with this trend and I loved it! so I drew the ones that I like the most.

Hi everybody! How are you all?

Today's drawing is about a not that new trend that I am completely in love with... and it is leather clothing :)

Yeah, I LOVE IT!! especially the leather pants. I think they are way too chic. But I saw this pic with a beautiful Leather sleeves Coat & Leather pants and I totally love this! It looks really good and the white t-shirt completed the outfit perfectly.

I've heard a lot of people opining about this trend, and it is not of it's total affability. They say it is "too much".

But I think it depends on the way you would wear it.

What do you think about it? Do you like this trend?

Faves - 2nd Edition: Trés Chic

Hello everybody, how are you all?

I'm showing you all this time, my favourites 2° edition.

I've selected three of my faves outfits from Naf Naf collection early this year, the ones that go more with me and my style.

I drew them black and white but I'll make you a proper description below:

1. Fashionable, girly and rocky look: Jean shirt, white tank top, soft layered skirt and studded boots and belt.

2.Feminine and comfy look: pink knitted sweater, white blouse, Maya pants (that's actually a light brown colour, like neutral), cream oxford shoes and a camel mini shoulder long bag.

3. Casual - simple & chic look: V neck white top, white shorts, Mocha knitted sweater, leopard print scarf, studded lace-up boots and brown mini shoulder long bag.

I'm really loving the looks just like they are but, I think this is a very fun and creative way to imagine how would you like them to be or how would you wear them according to your personal style.

Hello everyone!! How are you all?!

Ages without writing, but here I am showing you all once again one of my drawings.

This time, I wanted to show you, a drawing that I did with some of my favorite sunglasses.

The first, are some Cat Eye sunglasses, think they are very elegant and feminine (you can found them here).

The 2nd are some ASOS orange (wich is one of my fv colors!) round sunglasses, very stylish but casual too, I just love them! (found them here).

& the 3rd ones, are a Degraded Sunglasses. Chanel launched ones (some time ago) and I Love them!! Don't you?

I'd never drawn sunglasses, but now that they are so In well, I couldn't resist :)

Hello everyone!!

This time I'm showing you all a drawing that I did a couple of weeks ago.

It's a Christian Lacroix dress, that definitely caught my attention, it's simply gorgeous. It's from a bit old collection, but it doesn't make it any uglier, contrary; I think that the fact that is a vintage dress make it even more special and desired.

Hi everyone! How are you all?!

Yesterday saw this post by Pink Horrorshow where she shows her favorite pairs of shoes and this one was the first.

I really like it!! it's very fun and femenine, and the color is really pretty. That's why I drew it :)

I think every woman should own at least one pair of red heels, but if you found the classics ones a bit "boring" then you should definitely try these.

Hi everyone!

I found this paint on my p.c. and I totally forgot about it! But I love it, was one of the first that I painted with watercolors :)

It isn't on water paper but it looks nice, and the fact that it's an image taken with camera helps as well haha :)

There is something that looks weird... I don't know where but, there is something haha

But I don't remember where is the original photo from, I mean, from what photo shoot, magazine, what designer, etc... :S

So if you know where it is from, please let me know!! I'd appreciate it a lot! :)

Loved this post!, really cought my attetion. Love this "dramatic" and colorful make up, think I choose the colorful, it does look fun!! :)

But I drew the darkly make up, it looks more classic.

Feathers: A Great Accessory

So the feathers are In, and I love that! I also read an article on Polyvore where they called feather earrings "Season's hottest accessory" , and I agree, these are really cool and can make your outfit even more interesting.

I draw the ones I like more and go with my style.

There are mane styles of feathers, and you can choose the one you like best.

So do not miss this season without first getting your feather earrings!

Inspiration Dior - A colorful world

Hi everybody!!

I'm so sorry I couldn't post anything this days, but here I am and this time I want to show you a drawing that I did of a beautiful Dior dress. The dress is like for a princess, but not a common princess, and the colors are wonderful and alive! I really love it!

The photographs of the article were taken by Patrick DeMarchelier, which makes the clothes look even more beautiful.

I'm posting both drawings -blank and colored (I painted it on Photoshop) -, because I think either way these look great.

Yes!! just like you read, I'm in love with Céline and especially with the Luggage tote bag, its gorgeous!

The shape, the texture, the colors!!

I think this bag is perfect and in my humble opinion, it could be a classic!

Blue Chiffon Dress... just like a fairytale

The first time I saw this dress I immediately fell in love with this, the girl who wore it was on the red carpet, which made it even more I liked.

I'm not a fan of the blue color, I like a little (I prefer the turquoise or aqua: D) but the tone is very nice in this material - chiffon, is very soft and delicate. Also looks great with the top metal apply.

(This is not drawn on watercolor paper, so when scanning, the image is not the best, so I apologize. But it does not matter, the important thing is to share my work with you)
