This is my favorite part to document: the quiet before the day takes off. No forced poses — just real moments:
champagne pops, the dress hanging in the window light, friends helping with final touches, and that mix of
nerves + excitement that feels like a movie scene.

Ceremony in Sitges: white streets, sea breeze, and that “we made it” feeling

Then we headed into Sitges for the ceremony. If you’ve been here, you know the vibe: bright white streets,
palm trees, salty air, and that laid-back Mediterranean energy that instantly relaxes everyone. It’s one of the
reasons Sitges is such a strong choice for a destination wedding — you get beauty, walkability, and atmosphere
without feeling like you’re “on a photoshoot” all day.

Portraits that feel like you: walking, laughing, and a little Mediterranean magic

For portraits, we kept it simple: walk, breathe, and let the moments happen. A few stops in Sitges old town,
then a quick session near the vineyards around Almiral de la Font. Clean lines, warm stone, soft wind, and a couple
that didn’t need “posing instructions” — just each other.

Back at the venue, the reception felt like one long hug — cocktails in the open air, that warm golden hour light,
and speeches that had everyone laughing hard and tearing up at the same time. This is where documentary photography
shines: reactions, connections, and tiny moments you don’t even notice until you see them later.

Party time: first dance, stone arches, and zero chill (in the best way)

And then… the party. When you have a group that came all the way from New York to celebrate in Spain,
you already know the dance floor is going to be a full-contact sport. Under the stone arches at Almiral de la Font,
the night turned into pure energy — a killer first dance, nonstop hugs, and that “don’t let this end” feeling.

Hay bodas que empiezan con calma. Con miradas tranquilas. Con emoción contenida.

Pero rápido se transforman en pura energía y diversión.

La boda de P & J fue así.Un día que arrancó sereno y terminó convertido en una fiesta enorme, intensa y muy viva. De esas que no se planean para lucir bien, sino para disfrutarlas de verdad.

Como fotógrafo de bodas en Barcelona, este tipo de historias son las que más me motivan: bodas que no necesitan demostrarse nada, solo dejarse vivir.

Una ceremonia sencilla en la Sala del Reino

La ceremonia se celebró en una Sala del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová, un espacio donde todo es claro, directo y sin artificios.

Las bodas de los Testigos de Jehová tienen algo muy particular:
no buscan impresionar, buscan sentido. Y eso se nota.

En las fotos aparecen sonrisas discretas, gestos pequeños, miradas que hablan más que cualquier discurso. Aquí no hay exageración, pero sí mucha verdad. Y cuando eso ocurre, la fotografía funciona sola.

Cuando todo se relaja y el día empieza a fluir

Después de la ceremonia, la celebración continuó en Torre del Pla, en Llerona, muy cerca de Barcelona.
Y ahí el ambiente cambió.

Las conversaciones se alargaron, los abrazos fueron más fuertes y la alegría creció por completo. Las imágenes empiezan a mostrar cercanía, complicidad y muchas ganas de compartir el momento con los suyos.

Este punto del día es clave en cualquier reportaje de boda en Barcelona: cuando todo deja de estar medido y empieza a ser natural.

Sorpresas, risas y reacciones de verdad

Regalos y sorpresas trajeron los momentos más honestos del día.

Risas inesperadas, manos tapando la cara, miradas de “no puedo creer esto”. Nada forzado. Nada preparado. Solo reacciones reales. Como debe ser.

Y entonces llegó la noche…
y con ella, el cambio definitivo.

El primer baile abrió una fiesta sin freno. Saltos, baile, energía y cero contención. Las fotos hablan de movimiento, de cuerpos en acción, de personas que se olvidan de la cámara y simplemente celebran.

El cierre al aire libre, con todos rodeando a los novios, fue uno de esos momentos que lo resumen todo: emoción compartida, alegría colectiva y un final perfecto para un día que fue creciendo sin parar.

GUILIN CHINA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

A wedding in China— but not the postcard version. Real Guilin & Yangshuo: karst mountains, Li River mist, and that “is this even real?” atmosphere that makes everything feel cinematic.

But the landscape is just the stage. The story is always the people.

Elina & Aaron are pure energy. After their traditional celebration in Hong Kong, they brought their closest friends and family to Yangshuo for a two-day adventure: quiet moments, loud laughs, and a second day that turned into a full-on party at Alila Yangshuo, right next to the river.

My good friend Don Bringas invited me to join him for this Chinese adventure (I always love working in Asia), and that’s the kind of creative challenge that genuinely gets me obsessed—in the best way. I photograph weddings with a documentary mindset and a cinematic eye: real moments first, strong composition always. No forced posing, no fake emotions—just guidance when it helps, and space when the moment speaks for itself.

What made this celebration special wasn’t only the scenery—it was how fast everything moved. The best frames came from staying light, moving fast, anticipating reactions, and using tools only when they truly add something to the story. Two days is ideal if you want the story to breathe. Day one can be relaxed portraits + location scouting energy, and day two is the wedding + celebration. You get stronger images, but you still enjoy the experience.

Do you help us plan locations and timing?

Yes. As a Guilin China wedding photographer, I plan around light, logistics, crowds, and the pace of the day—so portraits don’t take over the wedding. We keep it efficient, natural, and visually strong.

Is Alila Yangshuo a good venue for documentary wedding photography?

Absolutely. The architecture, textures, and clean lines work beautifully for cinematic composition, and the environment gives you great light without forcing the day into a “photo shoot.”

We feel awkward in front of the camera—do you pose a lot?

No stiff posing. I give simple direction when needed (where to stand, how to move, what to do with your hands), then I let you be yourselves. The goal is connection, not performance.

Can we keep portraits short and still get strong images?

Yes. I’d rather do a few focused windows (10–15 minutes) than a long session that kills the mood. Great light + good timing beats “more minutes” every time.

The day before: Star Ferry, neon corners & that Hong Kong rhythm

We kicked off the adventure the day before the wedding—walking, observing, letting the city lead. From the Star Ferry to the iconic ding-ding tram, Hong Kong gives you layers: nostalgia, speed, and intimacy all at once. Sylvia & Valentin wanted the opposite of “posing”: they wanted presence. So we photographed the way they naturally move together—laughing, pausing, getting lost, finding the light.

Tip for couples: if you want images that feel like stills from a film, plan 60–90 minutes with no rigid route. The city will do the rest.

A reception above Victoria Harbour: Hutong Hong Kong

The reception took place at Hutong, a venue in a Hong Kong skyscraper with breathtaking views. As the night came alive, the skyline became part of the story: reflections on glass, warm lantern tones, and that “only in Hong Kong” feeling you get when the city lights switch on.

What I loved most? The contrast: elegant details + raw emotion. Speeches, hugs, laughter, tears—unfiltered and fully lived.

Two days later: the boat party to Lamma Island

As if one celebration wasn’t enough, Sylvia & Valentin gathered everyone again for a boat day—cruising through the bay towards Lamma Island. Sun, swims, drinks, friends in their best mood… it was the perfect ending: relaxed, loud, human.

Boda en La Vinyassa (Montseny): bosque, emoción… y lluvia (sí, de la bonita)

Hay bodas que empiezan suaves y acaban arriba. Y hay otras que, además, te regalan ese plot twist que lo cambia todo: la lluvia. La de Judith y Adrià en La Vinyassa, Montseny fue exactamente eso: un día súper humano, muy de verdad, con risas, abrazos, miradas (de las que no se actúan) y un fiestón que todavía nos hace sonreír al editar.

Nuestro rollo es la fotografía de boda natural, espontánea y cinematográfica. O dicho fácil: que las fotos se sientan como el día, sin poses raras ni “ponte aquí y mira a cámara”. Si te mola esa forma de contar historias, este post es para ti.

Fotografía de boda natural (de verdad): nuestra forma de mirar

Desde el minuto uno, todo fluyó con esa calma que solo pasa cuando una pareja decide vivir el día sin prisas. Judith y Adrià se prepararon en la misma finca, con su gente cerca, sin carreras y con espacio para que pasaran cosas: nervios bonitos, carcajadas, un abrazo que te salva el día, una mirada de “vale, esto está pasando” .

Cuando hablamos de fotografía documental, nos referimos a esto: estar atentos, anticipar, y disparar justo cuando el momento aparece. Sin forzar. Sin interrumpir. Con sensibilidad. Porque lo más potente casi nunca es lo perfecto, sino lo auténtico.

Y sí: si buscáis un lugar con personalidad para una boda distinta, La Vinyassa es un acierto total. Naturaleza por todas partes, intimidad, madera, verde, rincones con encanto y ese ambiente de “estamos en nuestro refugio” que hace que todo se sienta más cercano.

La lluvia: el giro inesperado que hizo la historia aún mejor

La ceremonia empezó en el bosque, con esa luz filtrándose entre los árboles que parece sacada de una peli indie (y lo decimos con cariño). Era íntimo, tranquilo… hasta que la lluvia dijo: “hola, aquí estoy”. Primero cuatro gotas tímidas y luego… ya sabéis.

¿Y qué pasó? Lo mejor: nadie se vino abajo. Se improvisó, se rió, se corrió, se abrazó más fuerte. Y eso, a nivel fotográfico, es oro: la emoción sube, la gente se suelta, y el recuerdo se vuelve mucho más real. Capturamos momentos que no se pueden planear: caras de sorpresa, manos agarrándose, invitados entrando al interior entre risas, y esa sensación de “da igual, seguimos”.

Consejo rápido: si te casas en montaña o bosque, asume que el tiempo puede cambiar y hazlo tu aliado. Un buen plan B + una actitud relajada = fotos increíbles (y un día mucho más divertido).

De la ceremonia al fiestón: La Vinyassa en modo celebración

Después de la ceremonia, llegó ese momento en el que todo el mundo respira: “ya está”. Y entonces… empieza lo bueno. Coctelito, abrazos, conversaciones que llevaban meses pendientes, brindis con lágrimas (de las buenas) y una energía que se contagia.

La Vinyassa es genial para bodas sin prisas: estás allí, con tu gente, y todo ocurre en un mismo lugar. Eso hace que la celebración sea más orgánica y que las fotos tengan continuidad: no son “momentos sueltos”, sino una historia que va subiendo de intensidad hasta acabar en pista.

Si algo define nuestro estilo es esto: no buscamos lo perfecto, buscamos lo verdadero. Cada pareja tiene su ritmo. Y Judith y Adrià eran de esos que se miran y ya te lo cuentan todo: complicidad, calma, sentido del humor y muchas ganas de pasarlo bien.

Una secció en català (per si et ve de gust llegir-ho així)

La boda de la Judith i l’Adrià a La Vinyassa va ser d’aquelles que et recorden per què ens agrada tant aquesta feina. Tot va començar amb una energia tranquil·la: preparatius a la mateixa finca, gent estimada a prop, nervis dels bons i molts somriures. Sense pressa. Sense guió. Només moments reals.

Nosaltres treballem amb un enfocament molt documental i natural. És a dir: no us farem posar tota l’estona, ni us demanarem que repetiu coses “per la foto”. Preferim observar, anticipar i capturar quan passa la veritat: una mirada, una abraçada, una rialla inesperada, un “uau, ja hi som”. I això al Montseny, envoltats de bosc, té una màgia especial.

I llavors va arribar la pluja. Però lluny de ser un problema, va ser el detall que ho va fer encara més memorable. La gent es va deixar anar, va haver-hi improvisació, i l’emoció va pujar. Quan una parella està connectada i el grup acompanya, el temps deixa de manar. El que queda és l’ambient: alegria, complicitat i ganes de celebrar.

Si estàs pensant en casar-te a La Vinyassa o al Montseny, el nostre consell és simple: tria un lloc que tingui ànima (aquí n’hi ha molta), prepara un pla B per si el temps canvia, i viu el dia sense obsessionar-te. Les millors fotos surten quan estàs present, no quan estàs “posant”.

Weddings are one of the most significant events in a couple’s life, and it’s essential to capture those moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. As a Boston wedding photographer with a photojournalistic-style approach, my aim is to capture the essence of the occasion, telling the story through candid shots that capture the joy, love, and excitement of the day. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a Vietnamese and Catholic wedding in Boston, Massachusetts, and it was an incredible experience that allowed me to capture the beauty of both cultures in a natural and authentic way.

The day started early, as I arrived at the bride’s house to capture the preparations. The bride and her bridesmaids were dressed in traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, and I immediately began taking candid shots of the bridesmaids applying makeup and the bride getting ready. I captured shots of her stunning dress, intricate hairpiece, and jewelry that completed her look. The excitement and anticipation were palpable, and I made sure to capture every moment as it happened.

BOSTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

The ceremony was held at a Catholic church in Boston, and as a Boston wedding photographer, I focused on capturing the solemnity and beauty of the occasion. I captured shots of the couple exchanging their vows, the lighting of the unity candle, and the exchange of rings. The couple looked radiant, and their love was evident in every shot. The couple’s parents were also a big part of the ceremony, and I made sure to capture their emotions as they watched their children exchange vows. I was able to take candid shots of the parents’ tears of joy and the moments of love they shared with their children.

After the ceremony, we headed to the reception hall, where I continued to capture candid shots of the guests enjoying the Vietnamese cuisine, including spring rolls and pho. The hall was beautifully decorated with traditional Vietnamese lanterns, flowers, and centerpieces that provided an intimate and romantic ambiance. The couple’s families performed the “Lion Dance,” and I was able to capture the excitement and energy of the moment as they celebrated the couple’s union. The dance was an extraordinary moment of joy and happiness, and I made sure to capture every moment.

Throughout the evening, I continued to capture candid moments as they happened, including the couple’s first dance, the speeches, and the cutting of the cake. I made sure to focus on capturing the emotions and joy of the occasion, rather than posing shots, to create a natural and authentic feel to the photos. I was able to capture the expressions of joy, laughter, and love on the faces of the guests, and the couple’s happiness was evident in every shot.

One of the most beautiful moments of the evening was the couple’s first dance. The couple chose a romantic song, and as they danced together, the love they shared was palpable. I captured the moment as they looked into each other’s eyes, lost in the moment and the love they shared. It was a magical moment that will be cherished for years to come.

As a Boston wedding photographer, I understand that weddings in Boston are unique, with each wedding having its own personality and style. It was a pleasure to photograph a Vietnamese and Catholic wedding in Boston and capture the beauty of both cultures in a natural and authentic way. Iceland Elopement Photographer – Thu & Minh Engagement Session

Iceland is one of those places that everyone thinks they know… until you actually land there.
The light changes in minutes, the weather has its own plans, and the landscapes can be so epic
that it’s easy to forget the most important part: the couple.

When my good friend Don invited me to join him for Thu & Minh’s Iceland adventure,
I said yes with one condition:

Let’s create something that doesn’t look like every other Iceland elopement on the internet.
No interchangeable couples in the same “must-do” spots. I wanted images that feel like them—real,
playful, intimate—and still cinematic.

Don’s answer was immediate: “That’s exactly why I want you there.”
And that’s how we started a 4-day road trip where the plan was simple: drive, explore, improvise,
and shoot only when it felt honest.

A different approach to Iceland elopements

I love big landscapes, but I’m not interested in using people as tiny props in a postcard.
My style is fresh, spontaneous and story-driven, so even in a place as dramatic as Iceland,
I’m always looking for:

• Small gestures (hands, breath, silence, laughs)
• Movement and energy
• Light that adds emotion, not just exposure

Sometimes that means shooting in a storm. Sometimes it means waiting for a two-minute window of soft light.
And sometimes it means creating our own light when Iceland goes dark.

The beginning: ice, wind and a simple plan

The first part of the trip was about stripping everything back: clean backgrounds, strong weather, and letting them move.
When the environment is huge, the goal is still intimacy.

How we shot it (light + technique, without the clichés)

Over these four days we mixed documentary moments with a few carefully crafted portraits—always fast, always natural.

• Warm cinematic light in cold places: for two key portraits, I used a continuous light with a Fresnel,
  kept warm (around 3000K) to contrast the blue/grey environment and give skin a realistic, cinematic glow.
• Tilt-shift portraits: I shot some portraits with a Fuji GFX + Canon 45mm Tilt-Shift f/2.8,
  shaping perspective and focus in a way that feels more “film-like” and less digital-perfect.
• The panorama: one of my favorite images from the trip is a panoramic composition built from
  25 frames with a long focal length (tele look, around a 200mm equivalent). The final file is huge—over
  20,000 pixels wide—so you can feel Iceland’s scale without losing the couple.

And yes—there was also a night moment where teamwork mattered: Don helped with the drone while we experimented with light
to get something truly different (and fun). That same relaxed energy followed them all the way to Boston.

On the road: waterfalls, mist and small gestures

Iceland gives you drama for free. The real work is finding the quiet moments inside it:
hands, breath, laughter, and those tiny seconds that feel like them.

Locations we explored in Iceland

Without turning the session into a tourist checklist, we chased the kind of places that match our vibe:
wild textures, changing light, and space to move.

• Glacier landscapes (ice textures, wind, minimal backgrounds)
• Waterfalls & mist (backlight + atmosphere)
• Black sand beach scenes (graphic contrast + motion)
• Icelandic horses (a fun, natural moment on the road)
• Geothermal areas (steam + moody tones)
• Blue Lagoon vibes (playful, relaxed finish)

4 days, zero stress

What I loved most about Thu & Minh is how relaxed they were. No pressure to “perform”.
No obsession with staged epicness. Just two people enjoying a wild place together.

That’s the sweet spot where my best work happens: when the session feels like an experience first, and photos second.

And the story didn’t end in Iceland. After this adventure, Thu & Minh invited me to photograph their wedding in Boston too.

Una boda en Almiral de la Font es siempre una boda especial, por su luz única, por su historia, su lugar privilegiado en lo alto de una montaña con vistas al mar…y las parejas que suelen escoger casarse allí buscan sobretodo disfrutar, pasarlo bien en intimidad, que todos los momentos de la boda sean auténticos, desde los preparativos, la ceremonia, la recepción y, sobretodo, la fiesta.

Y a nosotros nos encanta, no sólo por todo lo dicho arriba, sino también porque está al lado de casa, y cuando uno pasa gran parte del año viajando, pues también apetece una boda a 10 minutos de nuestro estudio, y si es en lugar espectacular como éste, mejor que mejor.

En éste caso, J&J, la pareja franco-canadiense que vinieron son una pareja ideal, dispuestos a darlo todo junto a sus amigos y familia más cercana. Fue una delicia pasar el día con ellos, muchas gracias por permitirme total acceso y libertad para capturar momentos irrepetibles.

Boda en Almiral de la Font

En nuestra web/blog podéis encontrar más de una boda en Almiral de la Font, alguna de nuestras favoritas, pero…a nivel técnico, para aquellos fotógrafos que seguís mi trabajo ¿que tiene de especial ésta boda que no tiene ninguna otra?

Posiblemente al observar las imágenes ya se nota algo diferente a cualquier reportaje de boda que uno pueda ver habitualmente : TODA la boda está disparada con UNA cámara y UNA misma lente, y no con un combo cualquiera, sino una cámara de gran formato como la Fuji GFX 50S, más apropiado para estudio que para un reportaje totalmente fotoperiodístico, y la lente es totalmente manual, de arquitectura, una Canon 45 TS adaptada.

El reto era sobretodo divertirme, y obviamente no utilizar ésta lente especial meramente como se usa a veces en retratos por su efectismo ( por lo que puede saturar aplicarlo en todas las imágenes de un mismo reportaje ), sino utilizar precisamente la peculiaridad de ésta lente de variar el plano focal como la parte esencial que justificara su uso, que el enfoque selectivo sea un factor más o incluso decisivo en la composición, las capas, el color y la textura, y además, que no llegue a cansar explicar toda la historia con dicho efecto.

Pues bien, pese a su complejidad…¡reto cumplido!…vosotros juzgaréis si con buena nota o no, ojalá os guste la selección que he hecho para explicar la historia.

Muchas gracias de nuevo a Don Bringas, que me invitó a acompañarlo a ésta boda como segundo fotógrafo, y que yo sólo le puse una condición : “voy a hacer algo que nadie ha hecho nunca en una boda, “pa divertirme…” , pero tranquilo, que sé lo que me hago, ok?”

¿Quién no ama Nueva York?

Cuando surgió la oportunidad este año de cubrir una boda allí ayudando como segundo fotógrafo a Adonye Jaja, un reconocido fotógrafo de bodas estadounidense, uniéndome también a mi amigo Don Bringas, ¡sí! ¡¡No pude evitarlo!!, Inmediatamente arreglamos la agenda para estar ahí viniendo del taller que impartimos con Don en México.

La preparación se llevó a cabo en el agradable Box House Hotel en Brooklyn, y la hermosa ceremonia y la siguiente recepción se llevaron a cabo en el Queens Museum.

Hemos hecho bodas en teatros, castillos, en medio del bosque, en la arena de la playa, y otros lugares increíbles, pero nunca en un Museo…siempre hay una primera vez!!!! ¡¡¡Me encantó!!!

La pareja, Marissa & Shayn, su familia y amigos, todos juntos son personas increíbles y con su naturalidad ayudan mucho a configurar esta bella historia en imágenes. Gracias por disfrutar tanto en vuestro día y brindarnos imágenes geniales para recordar para siempre.

Amazing Portrait Session in Galveston, Texas. Angela is a very busy entrepreneur and mom of four kids ( yes, four!! ), but she loves photography and loves to be a fashion model for one day, why not?

In this case, with my friend photographer Don Bringas We went together to the nice Galveston Beach at sunrise to shoot some pictures. She enjoyed a lot, really acted like a professional.

That’s our proposal too : maybe you are a busines woman, maybe with beloved kids and other responsabilities. Yeah!! Great!! I know your life and schedule is very complicated, of course, but if you apart one day for a nice photosession by a good photographer you not only enjoy a lot of the experience, you too finally got a lot of good/sexy/amazing images that you will love for years and give to you a renewed powerful confidence too for your everyday challenges.

Of course, another day you can arrange a nice family photosession…but this is another story, haha, and is not the purpose today.

This story started while I was in quarantine in Iceland (yes, literally). I received an inquiry from a wonderful family from Texas who wanted to do something special at the end of their trip: a session to celebrate the parents’ 25th wedding anniversary, and a second “mini” portrait/fashion session for their youngest daughter’s graduation. We loved the idea—two different energies, one cohesive story.

When families reach out from the U.S., the biggest question is usually: “Will this be stressful?” Our answer is always no. Our approach is documentary and natural—meaning we don’t turn your vacation into a photoshoot. We observe, anticipate and guide you only when it truly helps (light, timing, a simple suggestion). The goal is that you actually enjoy the experience, and the photos come from that.

For this session, we suggested meeting in Cadaqués (Costa Brava). It’s one of the most iconic Mediterranean villages in Spain: bright white streets, textured walls, little corners with beautiful shade, and the sea always nearby. We did the first part as a relaxed walk through the village—family moments, anniversary portraits, and a few editorial images for the graduation celebration.

The next day we planned something even more cinematic: a boat excursion around Cap de Creus. The coastline there is dramatic, wild and incredibly photogenic, and the light on the water is always magic. It’s also the easiest way to get real smiles from everyone (especially kids and teenagers): fresh air, movement, adventure—no forcing anything.

Ha sido todo un placer poder fotografiar la  boda en Masia Castellarnau de ésta valiente pareja hace apenas unas semanas en Marzo.

Ni una pertinaz pandemia, ni posibles confinamientos, ni nada que se os ocurra pudo variar un ápice su determinación de mantener la fecha de su boda…y finalmente fue todo un éxito : un día soleado como pocos, unos invitados ( amigos y familia ) totalmente entregados ( no faltó ni la abuela de 96 años, la principal fan de Luís como reflejan muchas fotos espontáneas ) , además de un bello lugar espacioso con todas las medidas de seguridad anti-covid…lo dicho, un éxito.

Además, pocas parejas se aman y desean con tanta devoción como ellos y esto siempre es estimulante de fotografiar.

Muchísimas gracias por confiar en mi visión para un recuerdo tan importante.

Ser fotógrafo en Barcelona éste 2020 no está siendo fácil, cierto, debido a la pandemia del Covid-19 que ha reducido drásticamente la cantidad de celebraciones de todo tipo, incluido las bodas.

Pero entre confinamiento y confinamiento hay parejas decididas y valientes como Noëmi & Jona que contra viento y marea encuentran cómo formalizar su amor…quizás cambiando varias veces la fecha de su boda, o reduciendo drásticamente la cantidad de invitados hasta menos de 20, cambiando el lugar de la celebración original por el jardín de la casa de unos amigos, tomando las medidas de seguridad necesarias, incluso retransmitiendo toda la boda por Zoom a los invitados que no han podido asistir, muchos de ellos de otros países .Eso fue lo que ocurrió en este caso.

Aunque he preferido en éste post sólo enseñar apenas unas pocas fotografías de los momentos de la boda y centrarme en el primer encuentro de los novios vestidos en el precioso entorno del restaurante La Cucanya en Vilanova i al Geltrú así como en algunas fotos realizadas después de la ceremonia en las instalaciones de nuestro estudio/jardín en Canyelles del Garraf.

Precisamente ésta fórmula es algo que ahora podemos ofrecer ya que obviamente ahora por un tiempo vamos a viajar mucho menos. Las costosas y multitudinarias bodas en destino a golpe de avión quizás tarden en volver, así que ésta opción puede ser interesante para aquellos que no muy lejos de nuestro estudio quieran un recuerdo único de su día más especial por unos fotógrafos de alto nivel aunque sea finalmente una celebración sencilla y no puedan destinar tanto presupuesto a las fotografías. A partir de sólo 3 horas de cobertura que incluye fotografías estilo fotoperiodístico de la ceremonia y unas fotografías más posadas y artísticas hasta la cobertura del día completo, tú decides, no dejes de consultar lo que tienes en mente y seguro podemos adaptarnos a tus necesidades.

Post-wedding Session in Mallorca | Fer & Marc

This pics are very special for me, because Marc is my son.

Of course, the wedding day I wasn’t their photographer, were Don & Helen, a very good friends and photographers ( and lately partners in some crimes, too ), but some days after I had the opportunity to make a few pics of them in Mallorca ( they were enjoying of their honeymoon and me working there, haha ), and weeks later , very close to our studio, in Sitges, Barcelona using them like a models for one of our workshops.

It’s only a very few selection, I hope you like it, thanks for visit our blog.

If you’ve never done a Post-wedding Session in Mallorca, it’s basically the “we’re married… now we can breathe” version. No guests watching, no timeline pressure, no rushing. Just you two, good light, and photos that feel real.

Mallorca is perfect for this because you can get totally different vibes in a short time: soft window light in the morning, stone streets with texture (Deià is a dream for this), and the sea as the final scene. You can keep it elegant and calm… or a bit playful (and yes, anything more intimate always stays private if you want).

Deià is tiny, but every corner has texture: stone, shadows, plants and Mediterranean calm. We just walk, stop when it feels right, and let the moments happen.

A post-wedding session works best when it feels easy: a simple route, a couple of strong locations, and enough time to breathe. That’s why we often keep it short and intense — one room, one village, one sea spot — instead of trying to do “everything”.

And yes: if you want something more adventurous (wind, rocks, water, wet dress), Mallorca delivers. These are the images couples usually remember the most because they feel like a real memory, not a performance.

Wedding Day in Lleida — Kim & Miguel chose to celebrate at Heretat de Guardia, a stunning farmhouse surrounded by the mountains of Lleida (Catalunya).

They had a very clear vision for their wedding: a relaxed day with their closest family & friends, simple and meaningful, in an incredible location — and photographed in a natural, artistic and documentary way, so they could relive it forever.

Why did they contact us? Because we had the privilege to photograph a wedding in a castle in France for the bride’s brother years ago — and they remembered those original, emotional, slightly crazy frames we love to create.
