This past Saturday, National Restoration held its’ annual holiday party at The Westin hotel in Mount Laurel, NJ. National Restoration has held a company holiday party each year and this was the biggest by far.

King of Prussia Mall Flood Damage Restoration [VIDEO]

In 2010, Nation Restoration was the first company to respond to the King of Prussia Mall flood in October. It was the worst flooding the mall has ever seen and it required a lot of man power to get the mall back up and running.

This was also bad timing because it flooded right before the biggest shopping day of the year, black Friday.

Below is a video we put together showcasing the work the team at National was able to accomplish and in time for the holidays.

2011 New Jersey Firemen’s Convention [VIDEO]

On Friday September 16th 2011, Wildwood New Jersey was packed to the brim with first responders from the Delaware Valley and beyond. It was the annual New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention and it couldn’t have been a better weekend. The sky was blue, the air was crisp, and the beer was plentiful.

We had a nice little area set up inside the big white tent across from the Convention Center where we held a raffle for a 32″ Philips flat screen TV. We also met a lot of great people that weekend. We offered a FREE happy hour in the Wildwood Convention Center, rooms 5&6, to anyone who came out to our booth and saw us. It turned out to be a great time with music, food and beer.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to see us and came to our FREE happy hour. We would also like to thank all of the firemen for coming out and for all their hard work and dedication they provide to us throughout the year. We hope everyone enjoyed the picture-perfect weekend in Wildwood this year.

Flood and Water Damage Restoration After Irene and Lee

Our 24-hour disaster recovery teams and everyone at our company has spent the last couple weeks helping out the people in North Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and other parts of the Tri-State area that were affected by Hurricane Irene in a major way. Irene came through our area with lower than expected winds and rainfall, but has caused a lot of the local rivers and creeks to flood. Many homes and businesses in flood-prone areas were affected and the results were devastating. Even after Irene hit, tropical depression Lee came through our area and dumped over 7 inches of unexpected rain on us causing more areas to flood.

We had been helping homes and businesses prepare for the storm by offering hurricane board-up services. Our team can be seen in the video below during Mayor Michael Nutter’s Hurricane Preparedness broadcast:

We have helped over 150 homeowners and business owners recover from the storms and flooding since august 28th, when Irene first made land fall.

The clean up process after hurricane Irene and tropical depression Lee hit our area has been a tireless effort, but thanks our 24-hour disaster recovery teams at National, we’ve been able to help out a lot of people and we hope to continue to do so.

National Restoration has just launched a new and improved website for their customers and business partners. Recently, National has begun a branding overhaul, which included a re-designed logo, new truck graphics, updated brochures and other marketing materials.

Fire Reconstruction With Modular Home Installation [PHOTOS]

This house in Wenonah, NJ was destroyed by a devastating fire this year. The team at National Restoration responded to the fire quickly and issued a board up procedure directly after the fire department had finished putting out the fire. The house had to be demolished and National Restoration had begun installing a brand new modular home in it’s place. Here are some photos from the construction site this morning:

AAGP Trade Show [Photos]

On March 30th 2011 in King of Prussia at the Valley Forge Convention Center we attended the AAGP (Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia) Trade Show. It was a really successful show that had a really cool twist: a basketball theme.

We set up our arcade basketball game and gave our t-shirts (photo below), mugs, mouse pads and brochures to everyone that played and walked by. We were there from 10am to 4pm and even attended the after party across the hotel. Which, for some odd reason, took an extremely long time to walk to. That convention center hotel is huge!

It was a great time and very successful. We will definitely be attending next year and we will also be at the NJAA Trade Show at the end of May. So, if you’re gonna be there, make sure you look for us.
