The greatest contact we have with the environment is through our food. In order for every single cell of the body to function effeciently, it must be provided with all the essential nutrients to maintain its individual biochemical processes. When wholesome, balanced, and functional nutrition is adequate, the body will have its fullest power to resist disease, enhance healing, improve health and prolong life.
Body cells in general die for two reasons: first, when they don't get all the necessary substances they need; second when something that they don't need poisons them.

The latest health research studies have maintained that the best form of wholesome functional, and balanced nutrition comes from a variety of plant foods. Scientists have evidence regarding the long term negative effects of animal protein rich diet to our kidneys and to our body as a whole. Plant protein, such as soy is safer for the kidneys and is good substitute for animal protein. Good nutrition for our total body systems is the same good nutrition for our kidneys. Every time we take food, it contributes to either health or disease.

DRINK ENOUGH WATER EVERY DAY:

Around 60 percent of an adult's consists of water. In a newborn infant, the water content is even higher, amounting to 75 percent of its total weight.
Since water is the body's official transport system, its adequate amount is very important. Every life giving element contained in the blood such as oxygen, food nutrients and special substances such as hormones, could never reach the destination without water. In addition, waste products of metabolism could not be eliminated and would build up in the body. In fact, without water one could not breathe. Before oxygen and carbon dioxide could pass in and out of the blood, respectively, they must first dissolve in a thin film of water that lines each air sac in the lungs. So much injury could happen to many organs and individual cells, in particular, when there is very little amount of water taken in. However, these injuries are often prevented because no less than the kidneys would have the most exhaustive effort in troubleshooting this problem. As explained earlier, the kidney's ability to dilute urine does not require much labor than their ability to concentrate it. To concetrate urine is the kidney's way of releasing more solutes while holding more water so that the body's balance of water and chemical constituents will always be at its right proportion. To lessen the workload of the kidneys, it is very important to drint sufficient amount of water.

HOW MUCH WATER DO WE HAVE TO DRINK EVERY DAY?

The amount of water we have to take depends on the estimated amount of fluids that is lost from the body. The body loses water in four major ways:
1. through the kidneys in the form of urine.
2. from the skin as perspiration
3. from the lungs as moistened breath
4. from the colon as water moistened stool

Fluid loss depends on body temperature and physical activity. In an average temperature, an adult loses approximately 2,320 ml of water daily. In hot weather and also when one has a fever approximately 3,320 ml is lost; while during heavy exercise, the amount of water lost is 6, 620 ml. Normally, 2 liters of water or approximately eight 250 ml glasses are needed every day. Some unqualified amount of fluid from our food is an addition.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DRINK WATER?

Many are used to drinking water during or immediately after a meal. However the best time to drink water is in between meals. Drinking during meals dilutes the digestive juices. In order to process food,, the digestive system must manufacture more of these juices in order to raise it to the required level of concentration. This puts the digestive system into a strain. Besides, the stomach has to reach a certain temperature warm enough to process the food. If cold water is taken with meals, the stomach will seek an effort to rewarm before the digestive cycle is completed. The best time to drink enough water is one hour after a meal or fifteen minutes before the next meal.

MAKE SURE WATER IS PURE AND CLEAN
Whether or not the water looks clear is no guarantee that it is pure and clean. Gone are the days when people just get water directly from a flowing stream, or a well, or even drink directly from faucets without fear of contamination. Today, we have a fair different scenario. We have to exert efforts to make sure that the water we drink is pure and clean. We fear that in the next two or three days generations, the problem of water pollution worldwide may seem to have no solution. Man's increased awareness of the harmful effects of polluted water compels him to use bottled purified or mineral water for drinking. It is sad to note that water like air which is supposed to be free, is now at a cost. Bottled water and purified drinking water stations have cropped up and are making good business. In many localities the cost of drinking water per liter has even overtaken the cost of gasoline. The fact remains that in most cases we do not have a choice. Water in cities and highly industrialized places is exposed to pollutants from industrial chemical wastes. Those living in farmlands are more exposed to chemicals from fertilizers or weed killers that seep into the soil and contaminate the water table.

People living along the shore are always exposed water with higher salt content. Meanwhile, some people unknowingly take hard water, which is water with a very high mineral content. The absence of trees as a result of deforestation has resulted to floods that have caused the spread of many diseases. In one way or another these factors contribute to the development of kidney diseases.

SUGGESTIONS FOR SAFE DRINKING WATER
1.From bottled water:
it is best advised that the choice of a reliable brand be considered. You can have a choice of mineral or distilled water.
2.From Purified drinking water stations:
3. From Natural Springs and wells far from commercial farms
4.Have your own purifying system at home.
Choose purifiers that do not only remove solid particles, solutes or germs, but can also remove liquid chemicals or solvents that mix with water. These chemicals can pass even though microfilters.

There are some reasons why relationship turns out nothing after all you have been through. Insecurity, dishonesty, jealousy, arguments, distrust, despair and a lot, are the reasons why relationships end so fast.

Yes, maybe, there are three kinds of people who can actually destroy a relationship

Here are some of my noted tips on how to lessen scars marks whether it's a small or a big one.

Our face is the most sensitive part of our skin. Getting too much sensitivity towards germs and dirts can cause pimples. Sometimes a little pinch or touch by our own unwashed fingers, create a little red mark that turn to a bigger one. Some dirt causes pimples, so we have to be very careful in everything. Harsh chemical contents cosmetics can be prone to acne.

1. Before taking a bath, scrub your body with COFFEE SCRUB , and leave it about 15-30mins to let dry and dead skin scrubbed away, also good for varicose veins and cellulite) Put some honey and Olive Oil on a tub with warm water. When taking a bath, relax in a tub, massage your body with Olive Oil and honey on it using loofah sponge. After a couple of minutes rinse it well. The softness and smoothness will stay after rinsing it.

2. Considering you have bigger pores that create bigger pimples, you just have to wash your face every morning and night using a mild (HYPOALLERGENIC SOAPS ). Don't pop or pinch your pimples. It may cause deep swelling and pimple scar marks when healed. Avoid touching your face with your fingers. Keep your hair clean and away from face.

3. Put Calamansi mixed with olive oil and massage it on your face. If you feel hurt using calamansi, just use olive oil along with a honey. Mixed them well and massage it on your face. SHEA BUTTER is good for pimple marks. You just have to massage them along with EMU OIL or OLIVE OIL and leave about 30mins.

4. Apply your own toner using cotton, put some cream and massage it. You can also apply your own facial mask at home. You can apply them as long as they don't irritate your skin.

SHEA BUTTER , EMU OIL , and OLIVE OIL are all natural, hypoallergenic and good treatment for scarring. Either combining the three or using one of them, will advisably do.

ROSEHIP OIL is also good for scarring. It can be applied both on face and body the same with the three Emu Oil, Olive Oil, and Shea Butter.

5. Put some lotion on your skin. A lotion that contains hypoallergenic substance such as emu oil, olive, Shea butter or Rosehip oil. Emu Oil, Olive Oil and Shea Butter serve as a moisturizer. You can use them as a lotion. Massage them all over your body. If you do not have them all. Just scrub your legs with Calamansi or lemon and put ordinary lotions you are using.

6. If you have acne scars, pimple scars, mosquito bite marks, and any type of scars , these Natural Skin Care Products can do a lot of help vanishing it. I've started out my day with a cup of coffee. My day wouldn't be so complete without it. Yes, It's totally addicting. I limit myself drinking coffee one cup a day, two cups will do, but unfortunately, one cup is enough for me.

The best advise to everyone, just drink coffee moderately. Too much caffeine can cause hallucinations and other unpleasant effects.

Taking too much coffee does not give you a healthier result but there are some people find its positive effects. There are some reviews say that its best to take 3-4 cups a day because of its antioxidant properties that help to protect body away from free radicals.

Drinking coffee is totally addicting but I don't want to drink overly and live like a zombie. I want to sleep at night! I want to spend my whole night dreaming things, rather than being so paranoid thinking like some creepy things around jumping on and off my bed. Totally annoying but it's true.

Last week, when I went to my grandma's house for a visit, she offered me a bottle of Honey. I was just like staring it likely saying what will I do with this Honey? 7. It helps to get rid mosquito bite marks. Just simply massage your legs and hands with olive oil.

8. It is used as a moisturizer.

My mom brings plenty of Calamansi at home. I asked here where did she buy it, then she answered me back, one of her students gave her Calamansi while she was on her way home. I am so glad that I can even take and use Calamansi at home as I hardly buy this because I can't even go out doing chores at home. I know the benefits of using Calamansi so it excites me.

Benefits of Kalamansi:
It is based on what I have experienced while using it.

1. Calamansi is a natural potent source of Vitamin C.
It serves as my juice. I had once tonsillitis. I didn't even know what to take. I always prefer Doctor's prescription first before taking any medicines. So, I decided to drink Calamansi Juice and it feels so good as it cleanses my throat. It is also best alternative medicine for cough.

2. Good for skin.
Before taking a bath, put calamansi all over your body and wait for about 30 minutes before rinsing it. After taking a bath, you will feel the smoothness of your skin. It serves as Exfoliator. It feels hurt when you apply it in open wounds but best advise to apply it on your scar marks as it helps to lessen visible marks through time.

3. A good bleaching Agent.
Most women in Asia love having white and flawless skin. There are some women who can afford to buy expensive cosmetics to maintain their daily beauty regimen. Most Asian people especially Filipino, Adobo is one of their food specialties. Adobo, won't be that good without the Calamansi. They used calamansi in marinating chicken, pork or beef to make it more tasty and delicious.

6. It removes dandruff.
It helps to remove dandruff by rubbing calamansi on scalp.

7. It helps fight itchiness.
When our skin is exposed in dirt, we experienced skin irritation and itchiness. Sometimes bug bites and mosquito bites caused itchiness. Before doing anything on your skin, cut Calamansi into half and apply it on the affected area. The itchiness will stop.

8. Good for removing clothes stains.
Some stains are hardly gone unless using a bleaching agent such as hydrogen peroxide. But using it doesn't really help as it appears your clothes color fades away.

Hope you have learned something about my previous post, that was about the benefits of OLIVE OIL ) . As what I have said, Olive Oil is one of the most essential oil used by many.

Today, we are going to talk about one of the most effective natural skin care ingredients, and that is SHEA BUTTER. Let us review first what is Shea Butter and where it came from. I will give you some noted review first before proceeding to the benefits we acquired in using Shea Butter.

Shea butter is one of the most popular Natural Beauty Skin Care products. It performs miracle in some cases. It is also known as Karite butter, a slightly yellowish fatty substance removed from the nut of the Shea tree that grows in the Savannah Regions of West and Central Africa.

Here is how Shea's nut looks like.

Most people recognize the health and beauty benefits of using Shea butter. There are some different process of extracting Shea butter such as:

2. Refined- processed with natural components present.

For me, the highly processed Shea Butter is not really that effective compare to raw unrefined because it is mixed with the other substances after extraction that may reduce its benefits. Personally, I prefer pure raw, no chemical added. It is just manually removed and extracted while others are mechanically extracted to lessen the odor.

1. Shea butter is proven and tested to be effective in any skin problems such as skin rashes, dry skin, sunburn, skin allergy, eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, sunburns, skin wounds and a lot.

2. It also helps to lighten dark spots and discolorations if continue using.

3. It is also used as a sun block.

4. It is also used to relieve nasal congestion.

5. It provides moisture to dry and damaged hair. It protects your hair away from the dullness and dryness.

6. It serves as an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.

7. It has Vit. A, Vit. E, Cinnamic acid, Triterpenes and lots of nutrients.

8. It is also good for dry, choppy lips.

I've been using olive oil for more than 3 years now and what can I say? It is totally pure and effective for internal and external uses.

Olive oil is one of my favorite Natural Beauty Skin Care . It has many benefits and uses, not just for cooking but best for your skin and hair care.

I personally use Olive Oil for my hair and skin. I have lots of experiments in using Olive Oil. Since it is pure and natural, I have nothing to worry.

Here's what I did and what I like about Olive Oil:

1. Before taking a bath, pour a small amount of Olive Oil into the palm and apply it on dry scalp down to the tip of your hair, then massage and wait after 30mins. It is good for dry scalp and dandruff hair. You can use it as conditioner also. Just add olive oil to your hair conditioner then massage it.

2. When taking a bath, put 1/4 cup of Olive Oil to the water and wash all over your body. Stay for about 15 mins before rinsing it. You may feel the softness and smoothness of your skin even without lotion.

3. It serves as a moisturizer. It is the purest source of Vit. E. Vitamin E helps the skin to be healthy.

4. Used as a facial cream. It prevents pimples, stops wrinkles and pimple marks slightly visible.

5. Serves as a lotion and scar vanisher that lightens scar marks.

6. Best for mosquito bite marks. Just massage your legs and hands with Olive Oil everyday and night. Be patient enough to wait the visible effects in a month or two. You will see the improvement of your skin. You may notice the softness, smoothness, healthy looking skin and those marks totally gone. Swear!

7. It is very good remedy for external or internal inflammations caused by diseases or injury.

8. It has full of nutrients that serves as antioxidants with a natural compound extracted from Olives.

9. Health benefits of Olive Oil in preventing colon, breast and skin cancer, Alzheimers and a lot.

10. It prevents choppy and dry lips.
