Oh, so shiny. We really love iNAVI. We might as well move our office to Korea just so we can use their GPS navigation systems. Just look through our other iNAVI posts and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

Anyhow, this latest one from Thinkware is called iNAVI KE100 and is coming out in Korea on March 22nd.

Very impressive hardware specs on the iNAVI KE100: 900Mhz CPU, SiRF Instant Fix GPS receiver, integrated multi-sensor that has a G-Sensor and an L-Sensor, DMB receiver, and multimedia support – on a big 7″ high resolution LCD screen.

The device is equipped with upgraded 3D maps called iNAVI Real 3D which can show surrounding buildings, terrain, and even more.

It will cost 409,000KRW ($360) for the 8GB model…

Sprint currently has the “Everything Data 450 with Any Mobile, Anytime” which gets you unlimited calling with any mobile phone in America, unlimited text and unlimited Web for $70/month which is a really good deal – provided you don’t call land lines that often.

Here are some hardware specs of the Nexus One:

3.7″ AMOLED 480×800 WVGA display

Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 chipset

Garmin wants to shift the location of its incorporation from the Cayman Islands to Switzerland, a move which was approved by the board and now waits for share holders to chime in. Company says the Swiss office will provide a base for expansion in Europe and allow for easier acquisition of European businesses. Garmin would then become a Swiss company but would still remain subject to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements and other rules of Nasdaq. All their finances would still have to be managed in U.S. dollars too.

Garmin told the developers of their popular software – Garmin Connect – that they were closing down their San Fran office and moving everybody to Kansas. This obviously didn’t go so well. The Garmin Connect connect team now put up this website, telling people they’re not going anywhere, while showcasing their skills.

On the other hand this could related to the fact that the migration from motionbased.com (which was bought by Garmin) to Garmin connect went nothing like planned and all the features that people loved didn’t make it to release software. Now Edge, Forerunner, etc users all have to rely on Garmin Connect.

If you’ve used both motionbased and Garmin Connect please tell us what you think.

Garmin Edge 500 first came out last September and has been selling for around $350. Some of the features of the Edge 500 includes ANT+ wireless, tracking things like speed, distance, time, elevation, and even calories. Since elevation data from the GPS signals isn’t all that accurate Garmin Edge 500 actually uses an barometric altimeter.

Garmin Edge also pairs wirelessly with Garmin speed/cadence sensors and features advanced heart rate-based calorie computation when used with a Garmin heart rate monitor. Edge 500 also displays temperature readings, changes time zones automatically and alerts riders if they’re moving but the timer is not running. With up to 18 hours of battery life, Edge 500 features a low-profile, quarter-turn mount that fits easily on the stem or handlebars. The new argyle Edge 500 is packaged with Garmin’s premium soft-strap heart rate monitor, speed/cadence sensor, bike mount, AC charger and USB cable. The neutral Edge 500 comes with the bike mount, AC charger and USB cable, and it can be paired with the other optional accessories when purchased separately to best suit each specific cyclist’s needs.

Yes, there are still developers working on the good old Windows Mobile platform. NaviComputer is the result of such an effort – an application to view maps and utilize your GPS receiver to interact with the maps to mark points, record tracks, etc.

Navicomputer does not download your maps off the air, it stores them locally. So you won’t need an internet connection or a dataplan. Maps can be easily downloaded from OpenStreetMap to a PC or directly to your mobile device. You can of course use other map sources.

Some of the features – the best of them being the fact that NaviComputer is free – include the ability to work offline, OpenStreetMap support, touch screen friendly user interface, track recording with trip information including elevation, support for GPX format, and multilingual user interface (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch)

We know you’ve been waiting for this one. We’re giving away (that means free) a Magellan iPhone car kit that we reviewed couple of weeks ago.

This truly is a multi talented car kit. First off it has its own GPS receiver. What does that do you might ask? Faster satellite fix, and the ability to use your iPhone as a GPS navigator when no cell towers are around to help you out. Secondly it has an amplified noise canceling speakerphone. It has bluetooth to pair up with your iPhone and of course charges your iPhone too. Oh it also plays well with your case whether it’s hard shell or silicon.

The best part is Magellan iPhone car kit can be used with any GPS navigation app for the iPhone. You don’t have to buy Magellan’s own app but when we reviewed them as a combo we were quite pleased with it.

Here’s what you need to do: 1) subscribe to our RSS feed and then 2) leave a comment below. That is all. Do make sure you enter a valid email so we can contact you back.

We will ship this out to a U.S. address only. Sorry rest of the world. Also duplicate entries, emails, IP addresses will be disqualified.

We’ll close this article for comments a week from today and after that we’ll announce the winner.

Good luck.

GPS travelogue is a neat little device to help you record point by point your travels and your expeditions.

It is a fairly simple device. Basically you click whenever you want ( it is so small, fitting to your palm) and i-gotU records those points on its internal memory. That memory is 64MB. Then all your real time records can be uploaded to your computer. i-gotU’s software will show your exact route via Google maps app. Plus, since you clicked your little i-gotU when you take those beautiful pictures during your travel, when you upload those pictures , i-gotU mashes all the data with google maps, and voila, now you know exact locations and the date for your pics.

Your data also includes the speed, the distance and the duration for the travel. As we said before it is very user friendly device and software. It works well with Windows 7, Vista and XP. It does retail around $150 (or less), an OK price for all you can accomplish with it.
