Youth Parliament is aimed at 15 to 25 year olds who want to make a difference in their own community and state along with meeting others who are like minded. It gives young people the opportunity to learn parliament skills and includes a week at parliament house in Adelaide during the July school holidays. Samantha will have a number of commitments in Adelaide at Parliament House over the coming months.

We celebrate with her as she embarks on this exciting venture.

Navigator College Year 10 student Alyssa Siebert has been selected as the state winner of the 2018 Simpson Prize.

The Simpson Prize is a national competition for Year 9 and 10 students which encourages participants to explore the significance of the Anzac experience by responding to a quote or question. Alyssa’s entry was of exceptional quality which has earned her the all-expenses paid trip to Western Europe.

Alyssa will attend the Anzac Day dawn service in Villers-Brettenoux in France as part of a study tour of the Western Front (Belgium, France and also London).

We celebrate with Alyssa and look forward to hearing about her journey when she returns.
