Our Charleston trip was great! Well, other than a few vomit episodes on the way down, and a whopping two hours of sleep we got on Saturday night. Our get together at Middleton Plantation was awesome - the weather was great and the kiddos really liked the animals.

Middleton Place Plantation

Today, the girls and I are headed to Middleton Place Plantation. We'll be meeting up with several other sets of twins for a fun day. And, of course, pictures with the fabulous Katy!

We'll be having dinner at Hominy Grill

The girls were entered into the Multiples & More Halloween photo contest. The grand prize is Jeep side by side stroller. Now, we don't need a stroller (in fact, we already have a Jeep and love it) - but a local family has lost many of their belongings in a fire, and they have two small children. I'd love to be able to donate something so useful to them.

Star Wars in Concert

One word: AWESOME

Seriously, if Star Wars in Concert comes to a town near you, go. Even if you've never seen the movies, the music alone is breathtaking. Add movie clips, lasers and pyro and you've got an amazing experience. I about fainted when I saw Anthony Daniels (C3PO) on stage, several feet in front of me.

And of course neither my dad nor I had our cameras, and the point & shoot in my purse died. So here are crappy cell phone pics.

Yeah, sorry I'm a few days late on this one. It has been a bit hectic this week, and only getting crazier! Tonight my dad is taking me to Star Wars in Concert, and tomorrow my mom, the girls and I are leaving for Charleston. Whew!

The nap monster came and kept my girls awake this afternoon - so they were passed out cold by 6:30 tonight. Let's hope they sleep until I can at least hop in the shower in the morning.

Ok, so I've had the Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 Lens on my Amazon Wish List for a long time. I've heard a lot of great things about it, but don't know if I'm quite ready to bite the bullet and buy it yet. However, I just noticed it is 56% off now ($491 instead of $1,022) so I'm wondering if I should ask for it for Christmas. For those of you into photography, do you recomend this lens? Or would you go with something else?

Right now, I'm only shooting with my kit lens and the 50mm.

Swagbucks Part Deux

So two weeks ago I signed up for Swagbucks after seeing it on another blog. I had no idea what it really did, and asked you guys all about it. Well, after playing around with it, I decided to write a little more on the subject.

First off - if you are a "googler", sign up! I am always using google, and this way whenever I search, I have the opportunity to win. On a daily basis, I'll usually win between 2-6 Swagbucks just by searching via their engine (backed by google and ask) instead of regular google.

Second - you can earn Swagbucks by shopping online. So when I ordered something from Walmart's website, I just clicked though Swagbucks first and earned that way.

Third - any friend YOU get to sign up, you earn 1 buck for each buck they earn!

Overall, I've been able to win about $45 in giftcards to different places online, which I'll use for Christmas shopping. I'm all about getting stuff for free!

Bryan and I had so much fun last night. It was our first night away from the girls together. My parents came over and had a slumber party with them (they watched Monsters Inc and stayed up late!). By the time we got home this morning, the girls were ready to go down for their morning nap.

Halloween Costume Fail

We're having a lot of problems with Halloween costumes this year.

Bryan's Batman costume is incredibly hot, and his mask pokes his eyeballs. The forecast for Halloween is 75 degrees, and I don't forsee him walking around in a latex body suit.

My Robin costume is LOLworthy. The top is really cute, but I'm afraid it is more of a shirt than a dress - my cheeks might get cold.

And the girls sheep? Well, Natalie LOVES her costume. She hugs it and squeals when I put it on her. Audrey just looks at her sister like I've fed her to some fuzzy wild animal.

See? She hates it!

Yep, I'm not sure we'll be able to get it on her.

Don't worry - Audrey soon got out of her cranky mood.

Though she did spot the Lamb costume across the room

And the cutest thing - Natalie has started saying "Aww Dee" for Audrey's name, and Audrey says "Naa Naa" for Natalie.

Barf-O-Rama

I'm at a loss right now - and really unsure of what to do.

For the past few weeks, anytime we've gotten in the car, Audrey throws up. I'm not talking spit up, I'm talking "we need a priest for this exorcism" type vomit. She's not crying or choking, and sometimes I don't know she has even barfed (except the tell tale smell or the sound of spewing fluids). I'm honestly worried that one day she'll vomit and choke on it - and I won't know because I can't see her.

So, I need some advice. I think she is carsick and that is why she is throwing up. Do any of you have similar experiences? Honestly, I wanted to rear face the girls until they were 2. But unless I dress Audrey in a poncho & scotchguard my car seats, I'm not sure that is going to happen.

And yes, I'm that mother that took a picture of their vomit covered child. To be fair, she was sitting in the kitchen (yes, still strapped in her seat) and I was running a bath. The look on her face is priceless, though "halps! i'm barfy!!!"

Bryan sent me this in a text this morning - I about died laughing. He is dressed in his Halloween costume, and edited the pic with his phone. And here are two cute ones of the girls I had snapped off one morning before work. I love that Audrey only has one sock on!
Oh, and here is a very crappy quality video of the game that my Mother-in-law bought. I wasn't brave enough to play, but Natalie was (note: her controller was turned off - I'm not THAT mean!).

If you could meet anyone, who would you like to meet?

I have been a part of a wonderful group of twin & triplet moms since I found out I was pregnant with the girls - so almost 2 years. I am FINALLY getting to meet some of them next weekend for a fun trip in Charleston. I am SO stoked!

I think I'm most excited because I get to meet one of my blogging idols, Katy. She has to be one of the most talented photographers that I've seen! She is flying in from California to take pictures of some of the girls going down to Charleston.

However, if I could choose anyone at any moment in time to meet, I'd have to pick Laura Ingalls Wilder. I grew up reading her books, and watching Little House on the Prairie. So I'd love to just sit down and talk about her life with her.
