Wassup everyone! Check out this verse I made as a response to my crew Shadow of the Locust's new song they recently released for free. 

One of my favorite things to do is write lyrics. This one came out pretty well but it would sound much better recorded on the actual beat. Maybe I'll do that sometime. Mostly I just did this for fun though.

-whether goofin off, laughin at dude's with shake weights

This weekend I spent some time on google hangouts drawing and painting with random art buddies. This is one of the pieces that came out of it! 

I haven't done a whole lot with painting but it's becoming a nice alternative to coloring digitally and coloring with markers. I'd have to say this is probably my most successful painting to date! I'm really happy with how it turned out. Hope you like it!

Did this up in watercolor the other night for fun. This is an original illustration of my Graffiti Artist character GLYF.

GLYF if you don't already know is a comic character I created who has the power to make his graffiti come to life. He fights villainous gangs who try to draw him into their wicked schemes.

Thanksgiving is definitely my favorite holiday. Today I figured I'd start the celebration off with a little turkey piece. I just went from a photo with this one no big deviations except with the coloring to give it a little more of a fun look. Hope you like it and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!!!

A little character I came up with today at lunch. His name is Dwight and he rakes leaves for dough rakers.  ;)

All jokes aside I have recently been inspired by daily art bloggers hoping to get into the habit myself. Partially to get back into the habit of drawing every day and get better at this art stuff and also to get better at blogging regularly. 

One of the main artists who have inspired me is Annie Stoll who I met this year at ConnectiCON. She seemed like a very nice person and I purchased a custom button from her of my character GLYF. 

Annie does daily sketches usually involving brush inks over watercolor's which has always been one of my favorite forms of mixed medium's. Funny enough I've almost never experimented with it for one reason or another so I think it's high time I get to it!

I still have a lot of practice to do if I want my stuff to look close to as good as Annie's!

Alright so it's time I finally buckle down and get serious about this News Letter thing. Starting this week I am going to be posting more updates to my blog and news letter of projects I'm working on, reviews, and contests. I wan't to get a running start at being more of a giver this next year. It's a goal I've always strived to achieve but I want to take some more active steps for regular giving and sharing.
