The Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam results were released on May 15. The remaining NCEES exam results are scheduled to be released 8–10 weeks after the date of the exams.</p><p>This video explains some of the steps in the scoring process that take place between when your exam is submitted and your result is released:</p><p><iframe width="465" height="262" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vwFvfJBTBGU?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p><p>How and when examinees receive their results will vary by state. Some boards use NCEES Exam Administration Services to release the results directly to examinees; some release them through another testing service such as PCS; and other boards release the results themselves. You can find out more details by clicking on the links in the bullets below.</p><ul><li>The <a href="http://ncees.org/about-ncees/news/ps-to-become-closed-book-exam/">Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS) exam will have new specifications</a> and will now be a closed-book exam. Examinees will be provided with <a href="http://cdn4.ncees.co/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/PS-Reference-Handbook.pdf" target="_blank">surveying reference material (PDF)</a> on exam day. No other references will be allowed for PS examinees. A <a href="http://ncees.org/exams/study-materials/?exam=PS&amp;product=2J">new edition of the NCEES PS Sample Questions and Solutions is available</a>.</li><li>The <a href="http://ncees.org/about-ncees/news/ncees-introduces-pe-exam-for-software-engineering/">Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Software Engineering exam will be offered for the first time</a>.</li><li>The <a href="http://ncees.org/about-ncees/news/pe-industrial-exam-moving-to-spring-administration/">PE Industrial exam will have new specifications</a> and move to a spring administration. October 2012 was the last time this exam was offered in the fall administration.</li><li>The <a href="http://ncees.org/exams/pe-exam/">PE Civil exam</a> will have revised design standards for the Construction, Civil Structural, and Transportation modules.
