Duties & Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the President, establishes metrics for recruitment and enrollment of students consistent with long and short-term strategic plans.
• Conceptualizes and implements a multi-dimensional, student and market-focused recruitment strategy to attain targeted enrollment goals.
• Provides leadership and coaching to all staff for admissions and student engagement to assure all recruitment efforts are carried out consistent with institutional and programmatic needs.
• Implements and carries out policies and procedures designed to ensure high-levels of data integrity and input of program inquiries, including indication of follow up activities for each inquiry.
• Maintains complete and compliant admissions files and documentation for all prospective students at all stages of the admissions process and the appropriate entry of pertinent data into the University’s databases.
• Accurately and completely explains educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to students, parents, and advisors.
• Manages inquiries to achieve prompt contact and performance activity and weekly goals; utilize approved recruitment policies/formats; make prompt and effective contact with inquiries and redirect unqualified candidates based upon incompatible career goals.

• Secures new inquiries by directly asking students, alumni, and faculty/staff for referrals who may be interested in programs offered.

• Schedules and conducts interviews, pursues qualified candidates for enrollment, and determines appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility.
• Accurately forecasts projected new students on a periodic basis for University President and academic leadership.
• Participates in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, college fairs, career days, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with at least two years prior higher education recruitment, admissions, and enrollment experience as well as the following attributes/skills:

• Ability to understand and articulate all University programs to diverse audiences
• Excellent phone and face-to-face communication skills
• Some combination of sales, marketing, advertising and public relations skills
• Collegial, collaborative and cooperative work habits, as well as a team orientation
• Well-developed personal, time and budget management skills

• Documents client services by charting in records.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing education, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• CA acupuncture license
• At least two years of clinical experience post graduation
• A good understanding of basic Eastern and Western physiology and treatment of common conditions

• Ability to analyze clinical information,
• Ability to listen to patients and take direction from the Clinical Director

Job Type: Part-Time, 10-12 hrs/wk. Hours for this position are Tues/Thurs 9-12 and Sat 9-3. This position has the potential to become a full-time position.

Compensation: Pay is based on experience. With the possibility of seeing three patients an hour, this means you will be making more than most of your peers.

LAc needed for a busy integrative clinic two days per week. Seeking a LAc to share space in a well established acupuncture, herbal and clinical aromatherapy clinic (meaning it smells good in here!).
