The reaction in some corners to the most recent ND recruiting developments has me in a more reflective mood (more reflective than usual, I guess). It's not to slight these two men who've just signed on to the program when I say I had know idea who they were or if they were being recruited by Notre Dame until after they announced they'd committed.

Given the string of commitments lately, you?d think ND fans would be thrilled. Not what I've read...Why? "They're mostly 3-stars" is the most-cited response. I think it's important, though, to look at this class with a little context before coming to the conclusion that these aren't the type of guys we want/need in this class.
