Hello everyone I am really happy to introduce you my fine are printing, available in my e-shop

In the last couple of months, I did an hard work to make all my picture ready to be printed and ready to be sell.

I spent a lot of time to do study and make practice, to find the best way to set up the print, color correction, best quality paper, to create an high-quality products.

To be honest, I love the sensation to feel my photography and my digital artwork, as a physically item, especially because you know I am also a painter.

During last months I realised make a print is not just an easy work to do because is not enough just launch a print to get an amazing result.

I had to understand the ICC profile and how to make the computer and the iPad communicate with the printer in the right way to get the best result on paper like I see on the monitor.

The big difference probably most of the people didn’t see is: when you see some picture on a monitor, or on the phone or tablet, you are just seeing and image retro illuminated, so very vibrant, saturated, and bright, because that’s the way RGB work.

However, when you see a picture printed on paper, you are watching reflected light on that surface and actually the paper, absorb the light.

Find the right way to make a CYMK (additive) image on paper, at the same vibrance, saturation, brightness of that image in RBG (subtractive) could be very difficult

I had to consider, to get a fine art print, how to calculate the black point compensation, ICC profile, color space, Dynamic range of the paper…and at the beginning, yes! I struggled.

Anyway, the final result worth it, and the happiness to see the final result physically holding in my hand … I can’t describe the sensation.

We are living in a digital historical period, when most of the time any picture still just in digital format and not very often, people make it a print, or a fine art print.

When you can touch a digital artwork, or get in your hands a fine art print, and get some different feeling I think that sensation is absolutely difficult to describe.

23 Lightroom presets, Cinematic Street and Urban (XMP format) for Lightroom Classic (Version 10.0 or higher) developed on the latest Color Grading feature of Lightroom (released October 2020 )

IMPORTANT NOTE:

1– Those 23 presets are based on the latest Color Grading feature of Lightroom (October 2020 release)

It means that these presets could work on the previous versions of Lightroom (split tone) but I can not guarantee 100% because the MIDTONES are missed in the release before oct 2020.

Please make sure you have the last versions installed, to get the maximum result

2– I am a Fujufilm User, so in the BASIC panel of the program i selected as PROFILE “Camera Matching”, the fujifilm simulation films.

Please make sure you choose the profile matching with your camera, or choose a generic adobe profile you like.

3– Those presets, are optimized for RAW images !

4– Please keep in your mind, after apply the different preset settings, to check properly all the adjustments, because any picture is different, so any light setting, like exposure, highlights, black, noise etc.. will be different.

It means, this is a good START POINT to edit your picture, but you should get YOUR personal unique result.

My adjustments are based on:

• HSL/Color
• Color Grading
• Calibration

I scanned the real Watercolor Paper I use in my traditional Watercolor Artwork

You can resize the canvas to get more available layer to use, because I can see the file is quite big.

You’ll get a very high customization, so you can find the best final result for you

When you download it, I think will be suitable for most of the painting, you have just to choose what kind of paper you like:

• Cold pressed Watercolor Paper (Canson)
• Matte Watercolor Paper (Hahnemuhle)
• Rough Watercolor Paper( Arches)
• Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper (Arches)

NOTE: If You need to print the final Artwork, I actually think is ready to go (check ICC profile and make one print to see wha t happens), but if don’t need to print, you can customize the layer opacity and maybe the curves

REMEMBER to keep the group of the watercolor paper layers on top.

Well, today I’m very happy to share with you, one of the brushes i created for Procreate app in iPad: Procreate Watercolor free mop brush

This is an extra brush I made as a sample / example, so you can use it like a mop brush.
I made this brush, trying to replicate some wash technique, like the classical wet on wet realistic watercolor technique on paper.

Play with the pressure to understand how this Procreate Watercolor free mop brush, can work, to see the difference about flow, opacity, size.
Also check how it work about blending between colors of the same different value, and with some complementary colors as well.
