Wunder21 is an all-ages music event featuring some of Wairarapa’s hottest rising young performers.

Headlined by Talent Wairarapa & Smokefree Rockquest Winner Meg Hunter and guitarist Alex Hartley, Wunder21 is supported by local guest artists including Talent Wairarapa Winner Mr Deathwish, Dragonfly, Iraia Matthews & Seki Bradaz.

Nectarine was delighted to be the major sponsor and contribute our graphic design, website and social media skills to support this brilliant initiative!

The Wairarapa Pūkaha to Kawakawa Alliance is a community-led network. It brings many different groups together to increase the health of Wairarapa ecosystems, biodiversity, water and the resilience of its communities and to respond to climate change.

It includes conservation and environmental groups farmers and mana whenua as well as representatives from DOC, the Greater Wellington Regional Council and Wairarapa District Councils.

The Alliance sought out Nectarine to develop a logo that reflected their vision and the breadth of the territory they work in, and a website that would support their mission with clear, clean graphics and messaging.

It’s no small task bringing gaining consensus from multiple diverse stakeholders, but we’re as thrilled as the alliance members with the vibrance and strength of the final logo and website!

The need for a new TLC Services logo originally arose from their need for car decals, as part of their rebrand project.

Our design incorporated the TLC logo and text into a very graphic, edgy and eye-catching full car wrap, which later translated into outdoor signage for the shop itself.

Marainanga is a historic station set in stunning Akitio on the east coast. They offer accommodation, conference facilities and farm tracks which you can access incredible views by foot or bring your own horse or motorbike.

After completing the design of a brand new logo for Marainanga Station in 2019, Nectarine also rounded out the brand with print and online advertising.

For the Spring 2019 Issue of Wairarapa Lifestyle Magazine (above), we designed an advert for Marainanga Station that showed the different aspects of this amazing place: the beach, the catering, the homestead and the hills.

After a photoshoot with Lydia from Nectarine early in 2020, Cec at Marainanga decided she wanted a fresh new look for the Autumn 2020 Wairarapa lifestyle advertisement (below).

Using the new photos, we created a look that reflects the Marainanga website we created in late 2019 and adjusted the logo tagline so it was a better fit for their main audience.

The Olive Branch (formerly Istanbul) is Carterton’s much-loved Turkish restaurant.

They bring Wairarapa locals kebabs, iskenders and all the other great Mediterranean tastes they love, along with vegetarian and vegan options!

With the Covid-19 lockdown, they needed something up snappily to be ready to launch back into action as Level 3 rolled around. Nectarine was delighted to take work with Francelle and Eilish on the project.

We quickly had a site ready to go that was lean, clean, simple to use and gave all the info that customers would need to get their hunger sated!

After we completed the logo design for Mr Site Clean, the next step was a website.

As a new business, there weren’t a lot of photos as resources, but all the site really needed was to get a simple message across using the same cheeky tone as the logo: if you’re sick of living or working in a messy site, call Mr Site Clean and get it sorted!

It’s a simple single page website that uses a little humour and some animated scrolling effects to get that idea across, along with a direct call to action- ring Mr Site Clean and stop living in a disaster zone!

Entrepreneur Tiaki Whyte of Whyte Earthmoving has branched out into a new business – Mr Site Clean. The all new logo represents Tiaki with a fun cartoon style illustration encircled with rays of fluro pink, a colour which was chosen for its hi-vis function.

Overall the logo definitely has a vibrant look but retains a clean feel with its symmetry, flat colours, and modern type.
