St. Hilda's Foundation is raising funds for capital development projects for St. Hilda's Towers, a retirement residence and assisted living facility.

The expansion and renovation plans include an overhaul of our healthcare services. The Medical Centre & Wellness Spa will be expanded with a nursing station, infirmary rooms, additional rooms for private consultations and adequate work space for medical and nursing staff, and, a Wellness Spa on the second floor of Vaughan Tower. A Linkway, which overlooks the courtyard, will connect Vaughan Tower to the Lewis Garnsworthy Residence, creating an internal triangular pass way to the entire Towers’ building.

The goal is to be more mobility accessible and accommodate walkers etc.

Hamlet Live, a new transmedia theatre co-op, is set to burst onto the stage in downtown Toronto in January 2012, the play will also be streamed live on the internet, for international viewership.

One of the first productions of its kind in Canada (and in many parts of the world), Hamlet Live, using a multi-camera set up, will broadcast live on the internet, bringing the vengeful Dane to internet users world wide for a fraction of the cost of attending a live performance.
