Lakeside Physiotherapy 5 Buck Super D Ride

Thursday, July 18th. Registration at Mountain Station at 5:30pm. 

$5 entry fee + NCC Membership.

Route: Down EliSim, pedal up to Kutcorners, finish on 9 Point Cowbell.

All money raised will be donated to Nelson Cycling Club.

Door prizes donated by NRG, Gerickʼs and Sacred Ride. Food and cold drinks included.

The Fat Tire Fest is looking for someone to design the kids' t-shirt for this year!

If you're an aspiring artist (12 or under) or maybe just someone who likes to draw, submit your creation for a chance to be featured on the official FTF kids t-shirt!  

Show us what mountain biking and the Fat Tire Fest means to you. Be sure to include your name, age and phone number on the back of your drawing so we can contact you. The winning artwork will be featured on the kids' t-shirts - which every kid 12 and under gets just for participating in FTF events.

We ask that the drawing be in black and white and on an 8.5 x 11" piece of paper. Submit your drawings to either Gerick's Cycle or Sacred Ride by June 30.

Gericks Enduro Event. June 12th @ 5:30

A night of mountain bike riding Enduro style. We will be climbing to the top of Skirt from the Mnt. Station parking lot and finishing at the bottom of ASG. 

The middle trails will be kept top secret until the day of the event. 

Registration is at 5:30 and climbing will commence at 6. Preregistration will be available at Gericks now.$5 race fee. Insane prizes in the purse Shimano/Camelbak/Giro/GoPro/Kona/Troy Lee Designs with more confirming.

Must be Cycling Club Member to participate.

Paper Bag Party Ride!

Sunday 28th April. Register at the Svoboda Parking Lot @ 1:30 PM. Start time 2:00 PM. $5 gets you a BBQ and bevvie on the Troup Beach, a great location with good PM sun and that unique view down the West Arm to Nelson. The fire will be blazing, and we'll have a covered area if it's raining. If you want more than one beer, please have your pockets loaded with toonies.

This event is for NCC members and there will be a station at Svoboda for folks to sign up if they haven't already. (Only $25 per person for the season; $15 if you're a teen).

The NCC trail crew is headed to the Bag this week, so expect a good clean trail with maybe some new stuff thrown in.

Sacred Ride Kokanee event & NCC Membership drive

NCC Membership drive. The goal for this event is to encourage riders to come out and support Nelson Cycling Club with an evening of bikes, BBQ, bevies, prizes and good laughs. The track will be Rec-Trail to Hitman. There will be timing available for the Speedsters.

8th Annual Nelson Cycling Club Bike Swap. Sunday April 21 2013 @ 12:30 PM

This sale is for everything biking (road, mountain, tricycles, etc.). This includes, bikes, parts, clothing and other peripherals.

At the Rod & Gun Club

Drop off items for sale between 11:00 and 12:00.

Doors open from 12:30 to 2:30.

Collect unsold items and money between 2:30 and 3:30. All items not picked up will be given to charity.

You can purchase your 2013 Nelson Cycling Club Membership at the door.

The commission rates are as follows

non-member - 20% ($100.00 maximum per item) member - 10% ($75.00 maximum per item) $3.00 commission on all unsold items.
