Nepal Trip

Please be in prayer for us as we travel to Nepal for two weeks. We fly out of Chicago on Tuesday, May 6th and return on Tuesday, May 20th. Please pray that our trip will be productive and safe. We will keep you posted about the trip as we are able.

Prayer Letter

The Lord has been doing great things in our lives. We are currently at a major transition point in deputation. We are learning to rely on God even more as I am leaving behind my secular job. Please pray that our schedule would continue to fill up quickly.

Our goal is to get to Nepal in February of 2009. I understand that this is an ambitious goal considering that we are currently 22% supported, but we have a great God. We are enacting some exciting new plans to move things along more quickly.

Through your prayers and support, we hope to be in Nepal soon, reaching lost souls for Christ. Just as we would ask that you all follow our ministry and pray for our needs, we want to keep up with what the Lord is doing in your ministry as well as specific prayer needs. The best way to get bulletins, prayer requests, etc. to us is through e-mail.

We will be sending out quarterly prayer letters while on deputation, but for more frequent updates, please subscribe to the e-mail newsletter. Once again, thank you for all your prayers and financial support.

Deputation Update

Praise the Lord that we have had a busy schedule the past few weeks. It was a joy to be a part of the missions conference in First Baptist Church of Dwight, IL (Pastor Woodward) last Wednesday through Sunday. They were a real blessing to us while we were there. We were also able to enjoy the fellowship with Dr. J. Wendell Runion and some other missionaries that we hadn't previously met.

Our most recent meeting was this past Wednesday evening at the First Baptist Church in Rosemount, MN (Pastor Clear). I believe that God warmed up the weather just for us. While we were there, we didn't even need to wear a coat.

I know that it may sound repetitive, but please continue to keep us in your prayers. As much time as we spend on the road, there are plenty of opportunities for things to go wrong. Thus far, we have been blessed and we do not take it for granted. Thank you all for praying for us and special thanks to those that support us financially. I have been tracking the money that we spend on gas and prices this week have been the highest ever.
