Malcolm McDowell plays Mick, a teenage schoolboy who leads his classmates in a revolution against the stifling conformism of his boarding school. They school boys attempt to destroy the stagnant system of petty viciousness and an out-dated belief in the importance of the institution over the individual.

Shooting on the film began just a few months before the May 1968 riots in Paris, and Director Lindsay Anderson captures the spirit of youthful rebellion perfectly, linking it with the sweeping political changes that were dominating the headlines through the photos of Mao, Che Guevara, and Vietnam that adorn the walls of Mick's bedroom.

Are you interested in playing in a band or putting together a live rock show? If you are aged 14-18 then Camp Rock is for you! The annual week-long music residential, delivered and accredited by Nerve Centre in partnership with the Education Authority, will give you the chance to join a variety of exciting teams and learn new skills.

With the Music Team you'll get to join a band, learn music together and write an original song. You'll also gain an OCN Level 1 qualification in Music Performance.

The Media Team offers a host of exciting creative opportunities, from preparing films about the bands and creating album covers to planning and promoting the live show, as well as managing aspects like sound production. Participants in the Media Team will also have the opportunity to join an OCN Level 3 programme in January 2019.

The dates for this year's Camp Rock programme are as follows:

July 2-6: West & South Area Camp (Gortatole, Enniskillen)
July 9-13: Belfast & South East Area Camp (Corrymeela, Ballycastle)
July 30- August 3: North East Area Camp (Corrymeela, Ballycastle)
