The other artists in the museum, Ruben Ochoa and Klara Kristolova, at the same time are pretty rad too- check out all the shows if you find yourself in the desert. If you find yourself in the desert the show is probably the least of your worries though…

I sat in the front row for 2 of his shows at Sundance. I stumbled upon him by accident while wandering around in the New Frontiers basement area, and I was blown away. It was so emotional that it was almost too intense. I love the live performance MUCH more than any fully composed presentation. Scary thing happened: When he said the line, "The Gates of Hell opened", the soundman's cabinet doors opened as if on their own. The sound guy and my friend and I all freaked a bit and collectively laughed it off, but it was really freaky.

To whom, I am urgently trying to touch base with Rodney McLaughlin. We are trying to confirm yay or nay on a date w/ Sin Ropas and Brent Green at our space in Charlottesville. Apologies for doing this on a site blog, I really have no other direct contact method. Please pass this along to Rodney if possible or simply have him contact me at his earliest convenience.
Thank you.
best. Greg Kelly
