Oke I got my first assignment to make a logo for someone.
Just learned how to do it at school (I'll post my logo as well sometime).
So now I've my first assignment for a forummember on RRR who needs a logo for his band.

Well hi all, this weeks post (a bit late I'm afraid) is about some things I've done for so far and what I got.

So my birthday is the 10th of May (I'll become 18 this year). However, my most precious present I've ever got have I got earlier. I got it 3th of May when I went shopping at a secondhandstore. When we were done, we didn't find anything, we past by a gardenmarket. We walked in just to look at the animals they got there...And guess what? I just bought this most cute rabit I've ever seen. His name is "Hagrid" and his only 3 months old.

I'll take exelent care of him since he's just so adorable.

More I've had today actualy after some realy crappy stuff at school, is my marklist with wich I'm entering the exams. It's pretty good so I can't complain a bit. However, the crappy part was that I suppose to get it at 12.00. They hadn't got it done yet till 13.00 THEY SAID. When I arived the second time I waited for about half an hour but it still wasn't there. They should be ready at the end of the day, 16.00!! Well that's just the most crap thing ever school has done to me(...I guess).

Well now it's just preparing for my exams so all school stuff I've to do is almost done. That's some happy thoughts.

Allright I'll post my progress on my game The SpiritKeeper from now on also here. You can simply find all those post by pressing the label called rpg maker, you'll find all post on it there.

Now a quice (and late) update, I'm working on the menu by now...It's going pretty ok since I'm not a real good scripter :P

One of my lines I use to compare with the world. I've a pretty hard time now with all the presure and things that go wrong, not as I intended them to be. I keep forgetting things when at what time to do what? This is realy frustating me and makes me feel sad. I don't know what to do next, affraid of doing things wrong again.

However I just can't kill myself, I actualy don't want to either. There're just to much people out there who need me, who care about me...So thats something to live for. I think that when you commit suicide you're the bigges egoist in the world! The only think you 'care' about is your own, well...not so good life and thats why you want to end yours. However, they don't think about all those people who DO care about them.

That's why I'm anti-suicide. When I want to be killed, I'll just...well I don't know, I don't want to be dead, but I''ll never kill myself because I can't handle it anymore. I'm not that big of an @ssh*le.

So to conclude this post, I'll say:

"Embrace the dead and laugh." (Pim Prudon)

Just go when it's your time.

Tramp of my own mind...

I've had a very hard time last couple of weeks. Stressed by school and other cases wich doesn't matter in this post btw.

I feel like I'm a tramp of my own mind. It's like I just can't find the right door for some situations. The understand this I'll explain my kind of 'who does the brain work according to me' thing.

My brain looks like a reeeeeeeeeeeeeealy big hallway with many many doors. Behind every door is a kind of thought or memory.

Now why I feel like a tramp is because I'm not good on thinking or emotial expression of myself. It feels like I can't find the right door...I'm actualy not sure if I have all the keys for those doors or that some are locked for ever.

However, nice is that I've vacation now till I have my exams. After that...It will be a hack of a good holliday since I'm away for like 5 weeks or so, so thats pretty awsome.

Bad is that I still doesn't have any study I want to follow next year, so that's also crappy. And since I don't want to make any bad choises (I'm teribly bad in making them), is it going to take ma a lot of time either. Hopefully I'll find something in time :S

Also I will update my blog more often with the game I'm making now so that you all can follow the proces of creating. I'll do tutorials soon as well.

The NCE's will start after my exams...I hope!

Allright so I dedicated this blog to my podcast. However, since there isn't any episode yet...And since this is my blog and I may post what I want, I just go posting about everything that keeps me bussy.

Since a long time (about 3 years or so) I've been tracking a game that is released 7 september this year called SPORE.
I'm going to post about that as well but I'm not going to post just all stuff that I find on the net or via my daily visit form on spore-net (dutch). So if y'are interested in Spore as well, go check that site or a english version suchs as hookedonspore or sporerevolution (both english). It's all up to you what to follow and what not.

So I think Spore will be the game I'm going to play untill the cd is broken (I'll buy an other copy) or 'till I die (sounds pretty extreem, but it's an extreemly awsome game). I'll post highlights on the blog so that, may you be interestet, you can follow allong a little.
Further more, just go check youtube for some gameplaymovies to be convinced that this is the game of our lives.

A application at my hopefully new school

So today I'm going to share my experinces about a application conversation I had the other day (march 20.) at my hopefully future school. Before you may studie there you have to do some crappy stuff. It's an art school (HKU=Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (translated "Highschool of Arts Utrecht")) and the side I want to go in that, the studie I want to follow is called DVTG, Design for Virtual Theater and Games. So to get in I had to fill in a form wich just ask the basic things like adress and stuff like that.
After a while I got a letter back that I had to do some assignments. I had to fill in a questionform and had to write a letter with my talent (why they should assign me to their study). The last thing I had to sent them as well was a assignment. I could choose between 4 assignments. I choose for one in wich you had to make a concept of a educational videogame. With that I put a bit of an other assignment in wich you had to describe how a videogame can be experienced the best. However, when I mailed all that stuff (questionform+letter+assignment), I had to wait until I did or din't got a messages that I could come to do a application conversation or not.
Luckly I got the messages so I still was in the race to enter the school *hooray*. My friend was in the same situation so we both went to Utrecht 20th of march. We had to take our work with us to show what we could (I'll add some more drawings I showed there). My friend went in first, after that it was my turn. When I was in I got some diffecult questions and I felt a bit intimidated by one of the 3 (actualy 2, 1 got a phonecall) people who were there to question me, cause he kept saying that I better could do a other study than at their place. He probable did this so that I woudn't just said everything I had in mind, but that I realy was who I was and not the person they are looking for. Not a person that would fit perfectly in their studyprogram. However when I got out (they runed my portfolio, mixed it all up) I felt quite ok.
Both my friend and I needed to wait 2 weeks before we got a answer if were in for next year or not...however we still din't heard anything from them.
When I (and/or my friend) got a messages, I'll post it on her.

RPG maker VX

Allright so I realy like to share my ideas, notmatter if someone is reading it or not. That's why I just go post some more messages on her.
Today I'll talk about a program I start using two days ago, when a friend of mine told me about it. The program is called RPG maker VX. It's a system with which you can make your own RolePlayingGames, wich I think is awsome. I already used a prevorious version of the game maker (RPG maker XP). But this new version, wich also runs on Vista (I run it on XP), is just great and lets me want to use it again.

Her's a vidio wich shows what the program is about a little:

So I just started making the game, parts of the story are inside my head allready wich could/should become realy cool. The game is called The Spirit Keeper wich must be a project that WILL be completed for once, since I've started like somany games but didn't finished a single one (only a small one for my mother wich is not worthy to point to). So the game is about some dude wich can teleport via graveyards. He has to collect spiritpoints to buy upgrades and to forfill his quest to bring piece to earth again since ther's been a gap between the human world and the spiritual world. Now restless spirits are hounting the world. You have to defeat them and sent them back to where they came from. You get your quest via kinds of the human world and, wich is special, also from the ruler of the spiritulworld who whant's his spirits back. Ells he shall die, since his specters, his spirits, keep him alive, give him strenght and energy.
Well it's a small setup, but I think it's going to be a awsome game.

Ill post it when it's done (the full game or a demo).

Well well well! I must say, I'm in the mood for blogging I guess. A second post on the same day, that's pretty remarkable since I just started to use blogger for realy :) So what I want to post in this one, is one of my drawings I've been working on for the last hour or so. Actualy I only added color to a pencil drawing I made earlier on normal paper. I added the color with PhotoShop CS3, wich I have from the Adobe Creative Suite 3. I started with some color and added shades and highlights later.

So the pictures show a hybrid of a BULL and a SPIDER wich is playing rugby/american football. I must say that I am realy proud about the colored version, since it's like the first time I did it this way.

Getting in to it

Allright, I'm at school and realy think I want to get started with my podcast realy fast. Becouse of this, I want to get to know how this blogger works, since knowledge come's with the time. If I spent time on writing English and all, useing this webpage, perhaps I'll get better in it. So I'm just going to hold a blog for now and if I'm ready, I'll start podcasting. So I'm just going to post some news on the blog so that you also know that I'm still 'preparing' so to call, to start with recording the NCE's (NestCastEpisodes).

To give you some insight in my life and what keeps me bussy, I'll post some of my personal experiences on her as well...So if y'are interested in the life of a 'wants to become' podcaster, just keep looking at this page in the once and a while. I'll try to post at least 1 item a week to share my experiences on life in general and the stuff that keeps me bussy.

Please keep me tuned as well, so that I know that I've audiance as well. I would realy apriciate that, so that I know what keeps you fokes out there bussy so that I perhaps can share my thoughts about those things as well.

Happy NewYear to y'all whom are waiting for the official post of NestCasts episode #1.

Luckily enough this year shall be different, this year there will be episodes of NestCast at the net!

I know it's a while since I posted something at the blog, but now it's a new year, I wanted to make a new start...So thats also why I really wanted to go recording and posting NestCast-episodes (NCE's).

As a matter of fact, recording NCE's is actually the first point on my list of good intentions (I don't really know how to pronounce it in English, but the things that you shall (or won't) do in the next year).

Hi everybody who is already preparing for the big launch of NestCast.
I have worked on the idea for quite a while now, but I must say that NestCast could be pretty succesfull in a hack of a long time.
I hope to record episode #1 very soon so keep tuned.
