On March 1, Neverendless-wow will embark on a new community adventure. The first 30 days will be a trial period, and if the system works as well as expect, we will adopt it full-time and have an extended version that will repeat 3 times a year. This event will have RL dollar prizes for the winners (either in cash or in chips; whichever they choose). The prize breakdown will be as follows… Oh, forgive me! I am talking about prizes for an event you know nothing about! My bad… So maybe I should explain the event first, huh?
On March 1, the server will reset the arena season, and all teams will be deleted. This will allow for players to get a fresh start with teammates for all combinations of competition. But we are not stopping there; oh, no! We want the best arena teams on Neverendless to show what they are made of, in a completely fair and balanced manner. Therefore, we have set up the arenas so that donor items cannot be used for participants. A completely new concept for NE...

Vote Shop Overhaul

Over the past couple of months, our own Global Moderator Admin, Jem, has undertaken the huge task of completely reviewing and overhauling the Vote Shop. While Management made some suggestions and requests for change, she has done the heavy lifting and has put all these changes together for you.

Hacking and Third-Party Software

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all players that per the Global In-Game Rules hacking and use of third-party software is strictly prohibited:
[By playing on Neverendless-WoW, you agree that you will not] Create or use cheats, "mods" and/or hacks, or any other third-party software designed or used to modify World of Warcraft. Add-ons that only change the user's client or user's UI, but do not interact with our server or manipulate the game in any way, are legal to use.
Please also re-review the Policy on Disciplining Hackers .
YOU are responsible for what happens on your account, regardless of whether it is you yourself who have installed third-party software or whether anyone has access to the computer you are using (a brother? friend? internet café?). If your account is found guilty of hacking, you are liable and your account and IP will be subject to consequences. Such consequences include temporary bans; for multiple offenses,...

Inappropriate Names

Many of you are surely aware that if caught in-game with an inappropriate character or pet name you will be flagged by a staff member for a name change.
Due to the extremely high number of inappropriate names for not only characters and pets, but also guilds and arena teams, currently in the database, we are devising a new policy. If a name is considered by the management to be inappropriate, you (or your pet, guild or team) may be forcibly renamed while you are offline and given the option to make an in-game ticket for a GameMaster to re-flag you for rename to an appropriate name of your choice.
Of course the policy of being flagged for rename when seen in-game is still in effect as well.
Please keep in mind that this policy is not limited to offensive names and words in English. You are not permitted to get away with an inappropriate name simply because it is in another language.

Are you a TRUE Neverendless Guru!? Prove yourself to Blackswann himself when he hosts a very special in-game trivia Monday, February 20 at midnight server time! To be clear, this is the midnight between Sunday and Monday. ;)
You will be quizzed on your knowledge of the server and the community, so study up and show your stuff!
Special prizes will be awarded: this is not an event to miss! On behalf of Blackswann and all Neverendless Staff, we hope to see you there, and enjoy!

Vote Process Change

Many of you have noticed already, but a change has been made to the voting system. Now, all players are required not only to fill out the Neverendless captcha and the vote site captcha, but after doing so you must click on the Neverendless banner ON the vote site in order to have your vote recorded.
This minor additional step will not only boost our "out" count, but will assist in putting a stop to those who are cheating the vote system.
The first and third vote sites (Xtreme and MMORPG) are the ones affected by this change.
You will log in and go to the vote page in your account, as usual. Click on the button for each site, and of course you will get the Neverendless captcha. Please also note the new instructions:

Don't miss out, as on February 14th all in-game Event winners will receive an extra [Delicious Chocolate Cake] in addition to their regular rewards as a preview of our upcoming Lover's Weekend! ;)
Forums, Teamspeak and IRC will also offer some themed events throughout the day on the 14th, 18th and 19th.

Love is in the Air - Items and Quests

It has come to our attention that the items associated with Love is in the Air are not functioning properly and are disappearing on logout. So as not to waste your vote points or your questing efforts on non-working items, please hold off on any Vote Shop purchases of these items or on any quests related to Love is in the Air until further notice.
We are working as quickly as possible to resolve this issue so all our players can enjoy the season. ;)
If you have purchased these seasonal items in the Vote Shop recently, please feel free to make a Vote Shop Resend / Transfer support ticket and once the in-game problem is solved we will gladly resend your items.
Sadly we will not be able to reset seasonal quests; our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
