Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out installations, planned maintenance and service of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on all types of equipment to include VRV air conditioning systems and refrigeration equipment
• Chiller experience desirable but not essential
• Dealing with emergency call outs on a standby rota basis (1 in 6)
• Maintaining good customer relationships
• Based in Southampton and mainly operating within Hampshire and the surrounding counties

 Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified in City and Guilds Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration/NVQ equivalent with minimum three; preferably five years’ work experience within the field
• FGas certifed
• PASMA trained (preferable)
• Full driving licence

Established for over 45 years, New Air has become a key player in the installation, service and maintenance of all types of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation equipment.  We are looking for a competent person to assist our engineers in their daily activities.

This would be an ideal role for someone with previous onsite experience, preferably electrical or plumbing, or who is studying / recently qualified in City & Guilds Level 2 air conditioning and refrigeration and would like to opportunity to work for a reputable, family run business.

In addition to this you must:

• Be competent in the use of small hand tools and power tools
• Work on a mobile basis across Hampshire and surrounding areas
• Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 1 years driving experience)
• Be able to work off your own initiative and independently
• Be flexible to work out of hours occasionally when required
• Have good communication and customer care skills

Keep your office warm

The most fundamental thing any office can do to keep up morale is to ensure that the office is at a warm and comfortable temperature.
