Cool, the LG GC990 Louvre cell phone has a 12.1 megapixel camera and a xenon flash,  we’ll never see it stateside unless one was to purchase an unlocked version. The LG GW300 is a cheap smartphone, the new LG GW300 is a nice looking phone. Functional, some design. Not overly complicated. New LG Phones - LG GW300 features include  a full QWERTY keypad, a 2.4-inch 240×320 QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth, USB 2.0, Facebook client and e-mail. This handset looks pretty similar to the Dash 3G, it looks great! meybe it will end up at AT&T.

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G android phone is almost here, I’ll have to watch that phone more closely. UI looks nice. New T-Mobile Phones - myTouch 3G features include a 3.2 MP camera, a 3.2-inch with 320 x 480 pixels display, 528 MHz processor, 192 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM, WiFi, miniUSB, Bluetoth, GPS, and google Android OS. But any phone without a 3.5mm jack is a fail. Who the fuck wants to drain their battery listening to Bluetooth headsets which drop in and out all the time?  As of today, subscribers can pre-order the myTouch 3G starting at $199.99 and T-Mobile will guarantee delivery by August 5th.

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G Release Date July 28th 2009 for $199.99 with two-year contract. Today, you can pre-order it. The myTouch 3G is a sweet phone but not $200-$400 sweet. Not to mention the required $25/month data package which is hardly worth it seeing as though T-Mobile’s 3G coverage is so limited. I really want this phone…The myTouch 3G just looks great. I don’t like pre-order, I prefer to buy it in the stores to try it out. I’m hoping the trial goes through because I’ve been itching to get my Android on.

engadget reviews the Verizon BlackBerry Tour 9630:

Pros:

  • the keyboard feels spacious and comfortable
  • a high resolution 480 x 360 screen
  • BlackBerry Tour has two versions: with camera and without
  • a cleaner UI, a more extensive smiley collection, and functionality to send your location using the built-in GPS.
  • the built-in GPS chip seems to be unlocked, meaning that it will work with third party apps. Verizon has gotten a lot of flack in the past about the decision to lock it down only for VZ Navigator

Cons:

  • the screen itself seems to be incredibly sensitive to pressure
  • The Tour is quoting 5 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby which seems to be about right.
  • Not WiFi - if you like to travel abroad, and wifi is really irreplaceable in some of the more rural, remote, less industrialized

RIM would love to put WiFi in these devices, and it’s super-easy for them to do so. But Verizon has said no. Fortunately for all of us, this is supposedly changing in coming months.

The Nokia 3720 Classic is first rugged phone. I think the most impressive is the 2 story drop. The beer pint thing is obviously useful for the pub and bar hoppers lol. The T-Mobile Touch Pro2 would materialize for customers in the month of August, I hate waiting for a new device, it’s so damn frustrating.
