Here’s how to find a niche market. Sitting here, you can probably name somewhere between five and ten different markets where you believe you will find an audience for your articles rpomotions and people willing to purchase.

Go to a bookstore site, and find a topic. Perpetually hot topics include heath, wealth, and happiness which are constantly on peoples’ minds. Now scroll through that topic and notice how the books are written for sub topics of the original idea. Those sub topics are what you are looking for.

Within the sub topics you find, you will find good sub topics for an article campaign and you will find bad ones. Just because there is a book written about a sub topic does not mean that it will sell like hot cakes. If a sub topic has other outlets of information, such as seeing a doctor or other professional for treatment, advice, and information, it probably is not the sub topic you are looking for, but there are always exceptions to that rule, so be aware of hot trends within that sub topic.

A great niche to find is one that has emotional entanglements. For example, childhood obesity is a topic that is emotional for parents. No parent wants to start their child out on a path that leads to disease later in life, so parents may get some information from a doctor on how to help their child, but will probably also look to books and videos to gain more insight and help (this is one of those exceptions we talked about). Gather two or three ideas like this that fit the niche and emotional criteria, but not more than that, since too many will get overwhelming.

To be sure that the niche(s) you found will be profitable, you are going to want to find others who are marketing the same niche you are. If you find one or two that are marketing the same niche and are marketing it in more than one article, you have probably found a great niche to start with. If you find a flood of campaigns in that niche, it is probably over done and you should move on to the next idea, and the same with finding few or no articles on that niche. Once you find that just right competition in the niche you will be ready to move on to creating a great campaign.

Now you know how to find a niche, learn all the other tricks to becoming a great article marketer at http://homebusinessheaven.info and start that money coming in.

Carson from here. I hope you are having a good day thus far!

Today I want to chat to you about the main components of Internet marketing. The two items that lead to success…and the two items that people tend to have a tough time wrapping their heads around.

First, Research…then Action.

One of the biggest problems people have and my natural fear for you is that you will spend all of your time learning and researching, but when it comes to the actual “action” part you never take the leap.

We always like to go back to the “surgeon” example. You cannot become an expert surgeon, nor can you make money as a surgeon by reading a book. You need to apply what you learn in school, and perform a real-life working practicum before you become qualified (and can actually work on people and make money doing so).

The same goes for Internet marketing. You cannot read a tutorial, watch a video, or follow through a guide and expect to become highly successful. You need to “apply” what you have learned. In other words, you need to…

TAKE ACTION.

I do know this can be tough for some people. When you take action, you can fail. However, without failing, you cannot succeed. It really is a catch 22. You cannot hit a homer the first time you step to the plate! You cannot make a million bucks the first campaign you create.

Because of the “scared to fail” thinking, we suggest this:

Spend 50% of your time learning and researching at WA.

Spend the other 50% of your time taking action on what you learn. In other words implementing.

An action could be:

-building a web page

-building an ad group

-writing an article

-signing-up to an affiliate program

-making a blog post

-creating a website

-designing a graphic

-creating an advertising account (Adwords, Bing)

-submitting an article

-getting incoming links to your article, blog, or website

-etc.

Anything that is an implementation step (not reading, not research, not playing), can be considered an “action”.

Action leads to success. If you have been spending all of your time learning thus far, you need to incorporate action steps into your daily marketing activities. It does not have to be huge steps as you need to get to the first base camp before you can get to the top of the mountain.

Hope this helps you out and if you do have any questions about “action”, please make a post in the WA Forum.

The only thing I am wondering is if anybody really use this feed thing. Maybe on an all star blog with a lot of content, comments and activities. Yes I understand that this is an useful tool for a journalist. Subscribing to multiple source feeds expose him to recieve fresh news on the topics of his domain.

And for me for example I am passionate about sailing and writing music. I go to a number of forums and blogs everyday. And I just started a blog on fast sailing boats. I think I can use the feeds system to monitor a great number of sites on a feed reader. It is an efficient way to stay inform. And play the journalism work on my own blog. Yes..

When marketing articles, in order to be classified as an expert on something you must write appropriate and knowledgeable articles. The articles need to be factual and show that you have a well rounded education on how to use or sell the product. Once readers have understood your articles and enjoy them then they will look for other marketing articles from you.

Your marketing articles should be informative, specific and give people a call to action after all that is why you wrote them isn’t it? You can offer them a free report of ask them to call for more information. This is an especially effective tactic to use with a toll free call capture system.

It is a good idea to come up with a short catch phrase that will make people remember you by. This phrase should be on all of your advertising materials such as business cards, stationary, and car signs. The phrase should have something to do with the online portion of you advertisement. If people can remember how to get to your site then internet marketing search engines will make your marketing articles more available to people.

When you write an article let your expertise shine through. Give the reader important information that they want to hear about the product. Use the internet market to your advantage and give readers an expertas insight on a product. At the end of the article give them your information so they can contact you about further questions they may have.

When writing your article, think of distinctive words that will set you apart from similar products and articles. This way when people think of the product they will think of you first. It is also smart to use a variety of words so search engines will locate your article when people look up similar products.

Inserting links to other websites with similar product into your writing is a nice way to give readers more information. It would be a good idea to own one of those websites that you refer to in your article so they can visit it and get additional information. Using Search Engine Optimization services or SEO is another service you may want to consider.

It is very important that you carefully define the niche you want to dominate in such a way that it really separates you from others. Real estate is a good example of extensive niche marketing. There are even niches within a niche. There are recreation and second home properties which are often further broken down into beachfront homes, beachfront condos, golf properties, mountain properties, ski properties, lakeside properties, horse properties and even properties for automobile collectors. If you have the knowledge and market it properly using the power of internet marketing online advertising you can own your niche.

So, remember the basics of the internet article marketing process. Work in an area that you know well, allow your products to be found easily through a network of articles and links, stay within your niche, and consider using outside services such as SEOas to improve your visibility.

The holy grail of internet marketing seems to be getting “free” traffic. Even though you could do a lot with paid traffic, such as pay-per-click, free traffic is great. There are several ways you can get some free traffic to your main website.

Starting a blog, whether on your own domain or even on a hosted site such as Blogger.com or WordPress.com can give you a great advantage over just a regular website. The main thing that makes blogs great for getting traffic is that they have a built-in RSS feed. These RSS feeds allow search engines and several other directories or engines to index the content of blogs and do this very easily.

There are several social bookmarking sites, such as Digg.com and Del.icio.us and other sites like this. You can “bookmark” your own blog posts and other pages to help them get ranked in the search engines. Often times these social bookmarking “tag” pages will get ranked as well. Although this isn’t a direct link, these pages can serve as bridge pages with links back to your site and these pages rank also rank very well with the search engines.

There are dozens of places on the internet that you can create mini-sites or individual pages. These sites typically will allow you to post whatever content you want to post including your own RSS feeds from your blog, other websites, articles, video or whatever else you’d like to create in these pages. The main key to success with these types of sites is to make sure that you’re posting links back to your website, especially the deep links. Those RSS feeds included in the mini-sites or pages are a great way to get links back to your site. Also, create an individual text links using html or even images.

Next to pay-per-click, articles are the best way to get your website ranked and get traffic back to your website. The main reason these article websites are so good is because the pages on which your article shows up are very relevant and the links that are allowed in the author profile or resource box. Many of the good article sites also have a lot of “authority” with the search engines and their article pages rank very well which also means that the link values passed along from these types of sites are very high.

Posting on forums is another great way to generate links back to you site. Find forums within your niche and start contributing to the conversations. Make sure that you’re posting on forums that allow you to add a signature with a link. Also, whenever possible, view the source on forums and see if they add a “nofollow” attrib within the link code. If they do, that forum won’t do much for your search engine optimization, but will work for getting clicks back to your website.

You can find that there are a lot of blogs that already get a lot of traffic. When you comment on these blogs, you’ll usually have an option to put in your name, email, url and your comment. If your comment is insightful and contributes to the value of the original post, you’ll have other readers of that same blog post find your comment and many times will click through to your blog. I’ve personally done this and also had visitors to my sites also from blogs for comments I’ve left.

These are some great ways to get free traffic but each of these requires an investment of time. If you’re willing to put in a consistent, dedicated amount of time each day or a few times per week. Consistency is a key part of success when it comes to getting traffic to your website.

The concept of working at home doing affiliate marketing has a certain feel attached to it – many people assume that work-at-home means less work but as much money as they would earn if they were employed somewhere. But that is not necessarily the case. Running an affiliate marketing business at home or working out of home is not an escapist fair, and you should not think of working at home simply because you want to avoid hard work. Work-at-home is indeed serious business, and should be treated in the same manner as a normal job. At best, work-at-home is an alternative way of working, without having to punch the time clock.

The first thing that should be understood when it comes to work at home business opportunities is that it takes hard work and dedication to succeed in this endeavor. Many advertisements inform people interested in this type of business that they can receive a large amount of money by simply working a few hours a day. What these advertisements fail to tell you is that you may not be able to do this for many, many years – if ever. Many people who are operating a successful home business will inform you that they work harder than they ever did previously. The main advantage is that they are not required to work the hours as determined and set by another individual.

One of the easier ways of earning a residual income from the Internet is to sign up with established affiliate marketing programs. Though initially a whole lot of hard work goes into establishing such a program, but when someone signs up with a successful affiliate program, one does not have to bother about putting in too much effort. That’s precisely the idea behind residual income – not having to put too much effort on a continuous basis to generate this income. With the right attitude and a genuine effort, one can easily hope to generate a regular and steady stream of residual income. And, if all goes well, then this money multiplies and leaves enough on the table to think of giving up a regular job and venture into a full-time Internet business.

There are many different types of affiliate marketing out there that a person can choose from in order to help them build their income. There are pay per click programs, pay per lead programs, and even pay per sale programs that help a person build their income based on a certain amount of leads, clicks, or sales that they generate.

Before jumping the gun and signing up with an affiliate program, you have to sit down and analyze which type of program will work best for you. You have to figure out how much time and effort you can put in, and what kind of revenue stream you are looking at. If you are in this game to make a million bucks, then you have to devote full time; if you’re in it for a few hundred Dollars more, you can take it rather easy.

In order to succeed in an affiliate marketing program, you must choose to engage in a program that actually holds your interest. Many individuals set out on their mission to make money at home and forget that their happiness and motivation are two essential elements of success. However, if happiness and motivation are not achieved in the home business endeavor, neither will success. One must choose a program that matches their personal interests, holds their attention, and that will result in true success for that individual. If they do not, failure is quite possible.

There is no such thing like a free lunch, and you must be well aware that building wealth is not an easy task. But, hey, the Internet is a buzzing marketplace where serious money can be made with an online affiliate program – and there’s no harm in giving it a try. So, go right ahead and pick an affiliate program that suits you the best and hoist it on your website. If you employ your skills well, you will watch the money flow in effortlessly. Good luck!

The concept of working at home has a certain feel attached to it - many people assume that work-at-home means less work but as much money as they would earn if they were employed somewhere. But that is not necessarily the case. Running a home business or working out of home is not an escapist fair, and you should not think of working at home simply because you want to avoid hard work. Work-at-home is indeed serious business, and should be treated in the same manner as a normal job. At best, work-at-home is an alternative way of working, without having to punch the time clock.

How To Become A Great Niche Finder

Becoming a great niche finder is no rocket science but it is a game number.

The first thing to do with a new marketing campaign is to find a profitable niche. Tools exist for this task as niche finder. A keyword research tool like Mico Niche Finder is a must have for laser focusing on what folks are searching for, analysing the profitability of the market and the competition. At least.

But please read below what Mr. Taylor has to say about finding a niche.

Do you find it hard to make money from your online niche marketing efforts? Would you like to know how to become an expert niche finder? There are three essential elements to look for in a niche? When you find all three you know you’ve got a money making niche on your hands!

So with that said, there are three critical characteristics to look for in a niche as part of your potential profitability evaluation.

Characteristic One

Do the people in the niche have a desperate need for the product or service you are promoting? It’s not about whether or not they will like your product, or whether they will want it either. If you want to make a lot of money, you have to identify a group of people with a desperate need. If they are desperate for a solution to a problem they are more likely to spend their last dollar on your product if it provides what they need. For example someone who is deep in debt and desperate to borrow money, or is desperate to save a relationship are great examples of desperate people.

So the expert niche finder golden rule number one is to identify a desperate market!

Image via Wikipedia

Characteristic Two

Do the people with the desperate need have any money to spend? There is no point marketing a product if your target market can’t afford the product you are promoting! For example, someone who is desperate to borrow money won’t have the cash to spend on a product that tells them how to make money or how to get a loan. They may be desperate, but they need a free solution. That said, if you are promoting a payday loan product to those people you may well have a lot of success, but promoting a product they have to pay for won’t get you very far. Obviously the more money people in your target market have the better. As an example, people desperate to make a lot of money in the forex market typically have a lot of money to spend or speculate with.

So the expert niche finder golden rule number two is to ensure that the people in your desperate market have the cash to pay for it!

Characteristic Three

How many people are there in the niche actually searching for the solution your product offers? Marketing is a numbers game. The more people there are searching in your niche, the money there is to be had. If your target niche only has a few people searching online each month for your product, you’re not going to convert many in to sales. You therefore need to do some keyword research on your niche to see how many people are entering “buying” keywords each month. A niche may get a lot of traffic, but if that traffic is people simply searching for free information on a hobby or interest, they’re not going to make you any money. The keyword phrases that people type in must show that they are looking for a solution that they need so badly they’ll part with cash for it!

So the expert niche finder golden rule number three is to ensure there are enough buyers searching for your solution in the niche to make it worth your time promoting!
