What was your life like? Mine was horrible! No real friends, been backstabbed, never got invited anywhere, people pretending to be my friends. I’ve been teased and harassed in elementary school. I had a best friend, until she turned into a total bitch! No normal life.

I personally consider Asperger’s and high functioning autism different ways of being, though I’d say that low functioning is disabled.

This week (Apr. 14—2010), a girl got lost in a FLA. swamp & was found alive. She was described as having “autism-like” symptoms. That news story led to this question. Heard this on the radio yesterday— dannysfarm.com they work with autism patients, and others with different developmental conditions.
