A fixed pool is already expensive to maintain, just imagine if it's broke when you buy it. Pool Inspections performed by Ernie in 45 minutes to an hour and cost under $150.

Single Family New Construction permits filed with the City of New Orleans Permit Department. The very 1st step in starting a new construction project in New Orleans is to file a permit with the City of New Orleans.

This map covers the 70124 zip code and includes the following neighborhoods:

Lakeview
West Lakeview/West End
Navarre/Park Place
Lakeshore West & East
Lake Vista
Lakewood North & South
Country Club Gardens

Most of the New Construction startups will be concentrated in the Lakeview and West Lakeview neighborhood.

There was of total of 25 Single Family New Constructions permits issued in the Month of July 2010. This is over a 100% increase from the month June (12) and a 32% increase from the same time last year (19). Some interesting information about this month’s report:

Build Now, LLC started 3 of the 25 new projects
Homeowners acted as General Contractors on 6 projects (this does not mean that they will build the homes themselves, just that they filed the permits in their names)
The average Job Value was $234,681.

I wanted to share this website with everyont I know because it seems like a great deal. This has nothing to do with Real Estate but I like saving money. The name of the compnay is Groupon. It's a Deal of the day website with coupons for 50% off or more specials for a wide range of venues. If you are planning a trip to another major city I would check out this service in advance to help plan your trips. Today's deal (July 22, 2010): 60% off 3 Yoga or Pilates Classes @ Tri Yoga 4300 Dumaine Street off City Park Ave. I'm not into Yoga or Pilates but this seems like a great deal.
