49ers Fan Dies After Football Game Fall At San Francisco: A San Francisco 49ers football fan fell from an elevated walkway until his death on Sunday at Candlestick Park during the NFL season home opener team, police said Monday.

An investigator with the San Francisco Medical Examiner identified the man as Kevin Hayes, 32, of Hayward, California. He had no further details.

San Francisco police spokesman Gordon Shyy said he fell about 4:30 pm EDT skywalk to the sidewalk while the game against the Green Bay Packers was starting.

Witnesses said Hayes appeared to be drunk, Shyy said. "I did not know how far he fell."

He said off-duty doctors and police officers administered first aid until an ambulance arrived but Hayes was pronounced dead.

Lea Michele Asks For Privacy In Wake Of Death Of Cory Monteith: Lea Michele has released a statement on the death of Cory Monteith.

Monteith was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver on Saturday.

He was 31.

A cause of death has not been determined.

In April, the representative of Monteith announced that the actor had voluntarily entered a rehabilitation center for substance abuse treatment.

At that time, Michele threw his support behind Monteith "I love you and Cory and I will support him through this".

In late May, Monteith thanked fans for their support on Twitter: "sending big love to all of you for the continued support means the world to me. "Michele tweeted: "Today is a great day :) I love you all! Xo."

Michele and Monteith began dating while starring together in the Fox series, "Glee."

Firefox Smartphone Sold Out After Only A Few Hours: Just a few hours after the official declaration GeeksPhone selling duo first smartphone OS Firefox Mozilla said the entire shipment was wipe.

Although the two smartphones that GeeksPhone tranches sold only for the development but not the consumer version the attraction that they create does not seem small.

In this duo Keon is lower grade smartphones, with orange tones characteristic of "silk" and in the ordinary configuration with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, Snapdragon S1 processor clocked at 1GHz the bundled 4GB microSD memory card slot.

In addition, the machine is equipped with 512MB RAM, 3 megapixel camera. Starting price for the unlocked version of Keon is 119 USD, equivalent to 2.5 million USD.

Compared with Keon, the Peak is the more upscale trendy white shades and more powerful configuration.

It uses a 4.3-inch QHD IPS display, dual-core processor Snapdragon S4 1.2 GHz, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory with memory card. It has two cameras instead of 8MP and 2MP camera as a brother Keon.

According to Mozilla the configuration of Keon will be similar to most smartphone OS Firefox phase two, scheduled for release on June 5 in the nation. In contrast, Peak is proper equipment to test the development of the Firefox application on OS environment.

GeeksPhone said the supply was temporarily off and it will only come back on the 7th of this. It expects to receive approximately 5000 orders / day.

Of course this number is very modest compared to the big guns of Android or iPhone even in comparison with both Windows Phone and BlackBerry.

The baby girl was born January 27 in Zoquipan Hospital, weighing 2.7 kilos (5.7 lbs). Both girls were released from the hospital over the weekend, apparently doing well, but the hospital said it would have to do extensive followup due to the new mother’s age.

Singapore: Two Brothers Killed Tampines Accident: Bodies Identified by Family, who who were killed after being hit by a cement mixer truck while cycling at Tampines. MP Baey Yam Keng says authorities will review the junction of Tampines Avenue 9 and Tampines Street 45, following a fatal accident there.

The mother involved in the gruesome accident on Monday identified her two boys dead bodies on Tuesday morning. She arrived at the mortuary just before 8am surrounded by a group of relatives, friends, and a man who is believed to be her husband.

The young brothers named as Nigel Older Brother and Donovan Younger Brother cycled around the Tampines estate frequently. The tragic accident came as a rude shock to their distraught parents who said their sons were usually very careful on the roads.

Mr Francis Yap, the father of victims (2 boys), said: “It’s very sad. As a father, I have lost two kids. I hope that those people driving on the roads think about other people’s families also. For those small roads, it’s better to travel within the speed limits and don’t go so fast, especially if you drive a big vehicle. It’s very dangerous. So you must take extra caution to safeguard other people’s lives.”

Tey is accused of receiving the gifts as inducement for showing favour in his assessment of Ko’s academic performance. Bail was set at $100,000.

Prosecutor said in court that Tey is considered a flight risk as he’s a Malaysian when Defence counsel asked why his bail amount was excessive.

‘Real’ Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione found in school photo: An old school photo has become a viral hit after eagle eyed 'Harry Potter' fans reckoned three of the students looked rather like Harry himself, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

We're not sure where the photo originated from, but it found it's way onto the front pages of popular sharing sites Reddit and Buzzfeed thanks to the uncanny resemblances.

Annoyingly, no one's come forward to say who the mystery students in the photo are.

Korean Actress Jung Ah Yul Commited Suicide at Her Home: Allkpop website reported that the body of Actress Jung Ah-yul was discovered at her own home after an apparent suicide attempt.

Despite being rushed to the hospital upon discovery, doctors failed to resuscitate the actress and she was pronounced dead.

It was also reported that several acquaintances close to Jung Ah-yul claimed that the actress was suffering from depression and that the disorder may have led to the suicide.

Fans of the 25-year-old star also realised that on 11 June, the day before her death, Jung Ah-yul had posted a status on her Facebook, stating, "Nothing consoles me".

Jung Ah-yul was just beginning her career as an actress through KBS drama "Love, My Love". Her contract with agency Myname Entertainment expired seven months ago and she has been training to be a singer previously.

On another note, although the death seemed to be caused by suicide, the police are investigating further into the cause of her death.

Actress Emma Yong : "Emma Yong Fund" to help theatre practitioners with critical illnesses

SINGAPORE - Local actress Emma Yong died at the age of 36 last month, after a prolonged battle with cancer. But her memory will live on through the stage, in a new play called We <3 Emma!.

Produced by the Dream Academy, the concert will feature Emma's friends - many of them familiar faces in Singapore's theatre scene.

It will be staged tomorrow at the Esplanade at 730pm and 930pm, for one night only.

All proceeds from tickets sales will go to the "Emma Yong Fund", which aims to give aid to theatre practitioners in Singapore suffering from critical illnesses.

"Emma, even through the time that she was suffering from cancer, never once complained of pain or her illness. She always talked to me about how else we can help people and so when we decided to do the memorial concert, we decided we'd use it to set up this fund," said local actress Selena Tan. Jersey Shore Star Deena Cortese Arrested for disorderly Conduct: ‘Jersey Shore’s Deena Cortese has been arrested. She was charged with disorderly conduct on Sunday, was out of jail Monday after being released in the company of her parents. Cortese was partying down at Seaside Heights when she was put in handcuffs after having one to many drinks.

Cortese seems to be intoxicated as she dances around in the middle of a street in Seaside Heights, a video shows which was posted by TMZ. Police Chief Tommy Boyd told NBC 4 New York that one of his officers arrested the reality star after seeing her ‘a little intoxicated’. Boyd says a borough officer saw Cortese “a little intoxicated” and standing in the middle of a street, slapping cars that were driving by.

The reality series recently started shooting its new season in the Ocean County community. A summons is generally a document that requires a criminal defendant to appear before in court at a later date to answer for a criminal charge.

An eyewitness livetweeted the incident and also claimed she spotted on/off couple Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola getting into a fight. Borough detective Steve Korman explained to E! that “Deena walked out of a bar by herself and started to dance in traffic.

An unidentified driver was attempting to drive around her and she wouldn’t let him pass. An officer arrested her and she was charged with disorderly conduct.” Deena was later released on a summons and was seen being escorted from the police station by her parents.

A huge bar brawl involving Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro also occurred on Friday night.

JWoww apparently injured her ankle in the fight and was spotted with crutches and a bandage on her foot the following day. Jennifer ‘JWoww’ Farley was seen hobbling around on a pair of crutches yesterday after reportedly spraining her ankle during a bar brawl on Friday night, Daily Mail reports.

Senior sales manager Cecilia Sue did not see any reason to leave her job as felt she had done nothing wrong

Back then, reports speculated that Sue, believed to be 37 years old this year, was involved with both Ng and Lim. This proved to be false last Wednesday when Lim was charged in court, and none of the 10 charges read out to him included her.

Ng, on the other hand, was on Tuesday morning charged with four counts of corruptly obtaining sexual gratification in the form of fellatio from Sue between June and December last year — twice while she was employed as a sales manager at Hitachi Data Systems Pte Ltd, and a further two times in December, when she had started work at Oracle Corporation Singapore.

Hitachi’s Singapore branch provides IT, security, and industrial products and services, among others, while Oracle provides software for e-business. Both are multinational corporations.

Her identity was outed months ago as one of the women allegedly linked to a sex-for-contracts corruption case. But Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang has not left her current job.

Cecilia Sue Siew Nang Oracle Executive Scandal Singapore: Mr Ng Ser Song and Mr Eric Yap, the two men taking over the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) from Wednesday, have stressed that their operations will continue, even as a graft probe continues into the former chiefs of the two agencies.

Mr Ng, the new director of Singapore’s drug enforcement agency, wants to ensure his officers’ morale remain high, and continue combating the drug scourge.

The 48-year-old will also work closely with the Task Force on Drugs led by Minister-of-State of Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli, to comprehensively review Singapore’s drug control measures.

Mr Ng takes over the top post at the Central Narcotics Bureau from Mr Ng Boon Gay.

Prior to his CNB appointment, Mr Ng Ser Song was director of the Police Intelligence Department. From 2008 to 2010, he was the no. 2 at the CNB.

‘Our work requires strong support from the public and community, hence I seek your continued support in working together with the CNB to keep Singapore safe from the drug scourge,’ said Mr Ng Ser Song in an e-mail statement.

Mr Ng Boon Gay and former commissioner of the Singapore Civil Defence Force Peter Lim were arrested separately a few weeks ago, after allegations of ‘serious personal misconduct’.

They are out on bail, and are assisting the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau in investigations.

Over at the SCDF, Mr Yap, formerly its senior director (emergency services), takes over Mr Lim’s post.

Mr Yap said the SCDF, which provides fire-fighting and rescue services primarily, will continue to provide prompt emergency services to the public.

‘Enhancing our operational capabilities will remain a key priority for the SCDF. We look forward to working with our partners and the public in advancing our initiatives, programmes and community outreach efforts,’ he added.

Cecilia Sue Siew Nang Han Chae Young Scandal: Oracle Executive Sex Scandal Singapore: After weeks of suspense and speculation former Central Narcotics Bureau chief Ng Boon Gay has been charged with four counts of corruptly obtaining sexual favours from a woman, in return for IT contracts.

Ng arrived in a taxi at the Subordinate Courts with his wife and lawyers. His bail is set for $10,000 and his next court date is on June 26. In a statement to the media, Ng’s wife said that she has never doubted his professional integrity and will continue to stand by him.

Ng is represented by Senior Counsel Tan Chee Meng and Ms Melanie Ho from WongPartnership.

Mr Tan asked for the case to be adjourned as he wanted the prosecution to clarify how Ng’s alleged offences had helped the two companies in their business interests, and what these interests were. He pleaded not guilty to all four charges.

The 44 year old Mr Ng is accused of having oral sex with Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang, who was an employee of Oracle and Hitachi Data Systems June and December last year. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) said in a statement that the trysts were apparently in exchange for helping to ‘further the business interests of the relevant IT vendor, in respect of that vendor’s dealings with CNB’. She joined Oracle Corporation Singapore in December last year as its senior sales manager. Oracle told Channel NewsAsia that Ms Sue is still with the company.

Cecilia Sue Siew Nang Sex Scandal: Former CNB Director Ng Boon Gay charged for having oral sex with Cecilia Sue Siew Nang.

Former Central Narcotics Bureau chief Ng Boon Gay has been charged with four counts of corruptly obtaining sexual gratification from a woman, who was a sales manager of two IT vendors - Hitachi Data Systems and Oracle Corporation Singapore.

Ng was accused of ‘allegedly’ having oral sex with Cecilia Sue Siew Nang on four occasions, between June and December 2011. It is not revealed if he enjoyed oral sex from her in a car like former SCDF chief Peter Lim Sin Pang as well who was charged earlier for similar offences.

In return for her ‘special services’, Ng promised to advance the business interests of the two IT companies represented by her in their dealings with CNB.

Ng pleaded not guilty to all four charges and posted bail at $10,000.

He is represented by Senior Counsel Tan Chee Meng and Ms Melanie Ho from WongPartnership.
