What they didn’t count on was that Trump’s own mental health would prominently figure into his own presidency. Consequently, Trump is making things very difficult for his fluffers at Fox News. When the figurehead of what was once the Republican Party – now the MAGA Cult – is an octogenarian with obvious physical and mental impairments, it becomes much harder for the devotees of that cult to unleash rote criticisms based on flaws typically associated with age and intellect.

Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway (of “alternative facts” fame), who was Trump’s campaign manager in 2016 and served in the White House during his first term, was a guest on Laura Ingraham’s program Thursday night. During her segment she made some comments that might have struck some people as peculiar for a loyal Trumpist. She said that…

“This happens to many of us, right? People that we love fall into decline physically, mentally. That’s okay. That’s life. What happens is you have to let them live out their lives quietly, in peace with dignity with their families. Enjoy the grandchildren. You don’t give them nuclear codes and the presidency of the United States.”

Without any further context, it might appear as if Conway was giving a warning about what is happening now with with Trump. It could have been said by any Democrat concerned about the declining mental health of the current occupant of the White House. However, Conway was actually attempting to denigrate President Biden. The fact that she missed her target so badly speaks to how serious Trump’s problems are.

There is, however, a significant difference between Biden and Trump. While Biden is now living quietly, in peace with dignity with his family, and enjoying his grandchildren, it is Trump who has the nuclear codes. And he is making daily threats with hostile intentions toward a variety of countries, including Iran, Oman, Cuba, and even Greenland.

What’s more, it is Trump who is exhibiting dangerous signs of instability. He has been caught sleeping though meetings that were being televised. He has been rambling incoherently in speeches and press avails. He has been behaving in a distinctly narcissistic manner, praising himself shamelessly for imaginary successes, and constructing public tributes that include statues and placing his scowling likeness on currency.

Yet somehow, Trump still manages to have convinced himself that he is in perfect health, mentally and physically. Never mind that he still hasn’t released the reports from his most recent annual physical exam, his third in 13 months. That exam included yet another cognitive test that he boasts to having “aced.” It’s become a regular thing with Trump that he regards as evidence of his superior health. However, there is another interpretation that most Americans find more relevant…

Among Trump’s most boneheaded initiatives are his idiotic and inflationary tariffs, his obsession to build a gold-plated vanity ballroom, his $1.8 billion “weaponization” slush fund to reward violent, criminal seditionists, and his reckless and illegal war against Iran. This week Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, provided a brand new notion that stretches the margins of MAGA madness. During a typically friendly “interview” by Sean Hannity on Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda (aka Fox News), Mullin threatened to prohibit all international air travel into the United States from landing in what the DHS has deemed are “sanctuary cities.”

“We are currently drawing up plans to say, listen, in these sanctuary cities where the local radical left Democrats aren’t allowing us to do our job and enforce federal laws, then we shouldn’t be processing international flights into their cities.”

REALLY? That may be the dumbest of the impressive array of dumbfuckery that the Trump regime has unloaded to date. First of all, it is government intrusion into private enterprise that the airline industry isn’t going to tolerate. Secondly, it is based entirely on political biases that adds a new layer of illegality to a plan that couldn’t pass constitutional muster anyway. Thirdly, it would send the nation into an economic tailspin, causing irreparable harm to every business associated with travel and hospitality. Just what the already faltering economy needs.

Coming just prior to the U.S. hosting the World Cup and the Olympics – and the expected massive influx of world travelers to America – compounds the idiocy of it all. Anyone could see just how ridiculous such an action would be. Well, anyone but the Trump-fluffers in the MAGA media. So how did Fox News respond to this preposterous proposal? By worshipfully embracing it like good cult minions. This is what Harris Faulkner, co-host of Fox’s “Outnumbered” had to say…

“The latest DHS list of current sanctuary cities includes Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco. and along with Newark, all of those airports handle 1,100 international flights per day, carrying around 185,000 passengers.

“Well, they’re not just gonna not fly. They’re gonna go to places where they’re not sanctuary districts. They’re gonna go to red states and cities. And what will that look like? A boon for the red states. And again, people will just hate living in blue states.”

HOLY TOLEDO! Well, not Toledo. That’s a “blue” city. Along with those Faulkner itemized above, and the District of Columbia, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Detroit, Cleveland, New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Tucson. In fact, it was difficult to find any major cities with international airports that are “red” cities.

Does Faulkner and Fox News really believe that international travelers are going to be happy to fly into Boise, Jacksonville, Omaha, or Tulsa (all lovely cities), rather than New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago? Would they have to catch limited connecting flights to the destinations that they really want to visit? How would that be a “boon” for red cities, other than to create a lot more work for law enforcement and hospitals due to the intolerable and dangerous traffic jams at their inadequate airports?

The morning after his Hannity appearance, Mullin was back on Fox News reiterating his redlining of blue cities threat. It’s difficult to imagine that they would ever actually go through with it. But it is more proof that these Trumpists never think anything through beyond a preliminary assessment of whether or not their audience is stupid enough to believe them.

Which they don’t really have to worry about because the Fox audience has been brainwashed to the point of having such squeaky clean brains that they will buy whatever they are told by their MAGA masters.

High the list of the money laundering enterprises that Trump developed is the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) that runs his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social. That business has wandered off into a variety of totally unrelated activities such as cryptocurrency, mutual funds, gambling, artificial intelligence, and nuclear fusion. None of which have helped it to avoid becoming a pitiful financial fiasco that has lost investors billions of dollars.

Nevertheless, Trump has successfully managed these failures in a way that still nets him a fortune. Part of the reason for that success is that Trump has gamed the system to always provide profitable benefits for him. And true to form, Trump makes sure to thank himself for his illicit largesse, as he did Wednesday morning in a Truth Social post. He wrote in part that…

“It is critically important that the CFTC’s exclusive authority over Prediction Markets is maintained, and that they will thrive. Under my leadership, we are setting ‘rules of the road’ that are the Gold Standard for the States. We cannot have SCUM like Chris Christie, Letitia James, Tim Walz, and JB Pritzker setting the rules!”

That’s right! You can only have SCUM like Trump, his family, and accomplices, setting those rules. Despite the fitting acronym, the CFTC is not the Commission For Trump Corruption. It is the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which is responsible for regulating financial transactions in the commodities markets, as well as for cryptocurrency and prediction markets.

The latter two just happen to be ventures that the Trump family is heavily engaged in. Under normal circumstances there would be legal and ethical guardrails prohibiting a president and his family from having such unsavory business associations. But there is nothing normal about Trump and his family. So naturally he is exploiting those industries to his advantage. And he is likely reacting to recent news about his criminal tendencies. As reported by the New York Times…

How Prediction Markets and Crypto Firms Steamrolled a Watchdog Agency (May 24, 2026):
“The Commodity Futures Trading Commission purged its ranks, dialed back its enforcement and boosted industries in which President Trump’s family is heavily invested.”

“(T)the CFTC, the primary regulator of a specialized sector of the financial markets, has been mowed down by the powerful business interests it is supposed to oversee, a New York Times investigation found.

In the past 16 months of the Trump administration, the commission has shrunk its work force, purged career officials, sharply curtailed crypto enforcement and helped out prediction markets at virtually every turn, The Times found. […]

“The gutting of the agency is particularly notable because of the Trump family’s deep ties to the crypto and prediction industries.”

Like so many other government agencies during the Trump regime, Trump and his cronies have fired the career professionals at the CFTC and replaced them with Trump cult loyalists. This has been the case at the “Justice” Department, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Department of Health and Human Services, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and many more, including that Offices of Inspectors General across all agencies.

Trump has presided over a dismantling of the systems that prevent corruption by government crooks. And he did it with the intention of blazing a trail for new wealth for himself and his billionaire pals. Unfortunately for the rest of the nation, it appears to be the one thing that he is actually any good at.

Despite Trump’s obvious impairments, he relentlessly brags that he is stronger, smarter, and better in every way than anyone who ever occupied the White House. And his loyal Republican cult disciples obediently repeat his exaltations during meetings that appear to have no other purpose than fluffing His MAGA-sty. Of course his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, is always there to back him up…

Nearing his eightieth birthday, Trump is showing signs of his age. He has several visible abnormalities that he has never explained. He has also neglected to explain why he is having his third “annual” physical exam in only thirteen months. However, he is predictably bragging about the results that have been confirmed only by his own unverified posting on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, in which he has declared himself to be “PERFECT.”

It’s safe to say that Trump’s assessment of his own health is something less than reliable. In fact, there appears to be something worrisome enough that he has resorted to preposterous claims of perfection, and has ordered his regime flunkies to deflect attention away from his problems and unto some totally fake problems of others.

Shortly after Trump concluded his latest physical at Walter Reed Hospital, his Rapid Response team on X/Twitter went to work accusing a bunch of television reporters and pundits of falling asleep on the air. They posted screenshots as their proof of these accusations. This is clearly an attempt to mock the documented videos of Trump sleeping through Cabinet meetings and other public events.

There’s just one little problem. While Trump’s dozing off is documented in videos that show him motionless with his eyes closed over time, these screenshots are stills that just caught the person looking down or blinking. Unfortunately, not everyone participates in this appreciation for those who defend American principles. And leading the list of naysayers is the current occupant of the White House, Donald Trump. At least he took some time off from golfing, watching Fox News, and pitching his vanity ballroom, to make an appearance at Arlington National Cemetery for a ceremonial wreath-laying. Which is quite a concession considering how averse he is to not being the center of attention.

Prior to the ceremony at Arlington, Trump posted one of his typically infantile comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that exemplifies his true feelings about this holiday. Since he is incapable of behaving as anything other than bitterly divisive, Trump raged that…

“Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our Military and all of the tremendous success that it has had over the last year. God Bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

First of all, it is improper to wish people a “happy” Memorial Day. It is not an occasion for joy, but for solemn reflection and remembrance. More to the point, it is wholly inappropriate to exploit the holiday to divide Americans politically. Trump’s childish insult may be typical of Trump, but it is out of place and profoundly callous on a day intended to thank the fallen for their service.

What’s more, Trump’s accusation that Democrats “disrespect our military” is hypocritical in the extreme. After all, he is the one who has called fallen soldiers “suckers” and “losers.” He is the one who disparaged American prisoners of war simply because they were captured (see John McCain). He is the one who prohibited soldiers with disabling injuries from parades because he didn’t like the way they looked. And he is the five-time draft dodger who allegedly suffered from bone spurs.

Trump has shown more disrespect to America’s bona fide heroes by firing generals and other leaders when they had the audacity to express loyalty to the Constitution, rather than to him. Additionally, Trump is making a disgusting attempt to exalt himself by referring only to alleged military successes “had over the last year,” which is the year of his presidency.

Finally, Trump displayed the depth of his interest in paying tribute to the fallen during a ceremony wherein his Secretary of War Crimes, Pete Hegseth, was speaking. Apparently it was too much for Trump to be bothered just to stay awake…

A war that Trump promised would be over before Easter has lasted until Memorial Day, so far. It has endured multiple justifications by Trump and his flunkies, many of them that contradict themselves. What’s more, Trump’s war was already won and done a week after it had begun, according to his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News…

Despite all of that, Trump is still issuing declarations of victory on an endless loop. The latest one was in a long and lie-riddled comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, that read in part…

“One of the worst deals ever made by our Country was the Iran Nuclear Deal, put forth and signed into existence by Barack Hussein Obama and the rank amateurs of the Obama Administration. It was a direct path to Iran developing a Nuclear Weapon. […] The negotiations are proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner.”

This is just the most recent example of Trump insisting that all’s well in Iran and that peace is at hand. Never mind that he and his regime have been doing that for months. For the record, here are are just a few of the preposterously positive assessments announced by Trump and Company (with many more documented here)…

• March 9: Trump said the war was “very complete, pretty much.”
• March 13: Trump tells Fox News that “I don’t think it’s gonna be long,” and that it is over when “I feel it in my bones.”
• March 25: White House messaging framed Iran as essentially defeated
• April 6: Fox News reported Trump saying the war was “nearing completion.”
• April 8: Trump posted a message on Truth Social saying it’s “A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen.”
• April 16: Trump said, the war is “going along swimmingly,” and “it should be ending pretty soon.”
• May 2: Trump reportedly informed Congress that hostilities had “terminated.”
• May 18: Trump said “serious negotiations” were underway and that a peace arrangement was close.
• May 23: Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly.”

Given those powerful proclamations of triumph, it’s difficult to understand why we are still engaged in ongoing hostilities with a supposedly vanquished enemy. What’s more, one must wonder what Trump still hopes to achieve.

It’s notable that Trump began his tirade, not with criticism of the foreign enemy with whom he’s at war, but with an attack on his perennial domestic enemy, President Barack Hussein Obama. Clearly Trump is suffering from an acute case of OCD (Obama Compulsive Disorder). And he uses Obama’s full name like an angry mother chastising an ill-behaved child. But in Trump’s case, it’s just a racist insult.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that was negotiated by Obama assured that Iran would never build or acquire nuclear weapons. Iran also agreed to regular inspections to insure compliance by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). And for ten years Iran was full in compliance with the agreement. Until Trump tore it up and replaced it with – nothing! That’s when Iran resumed their nuclear programs.

Trump’s tentative new deal with Iran would reportedly open the Strait of Hormuz (which was open before his war) with Iran retaining control. It would unfreeze funds and remove sanctions, giving Iran access to billions of dollars in oil revenue. And it allow Iran to keep stockpiles of highly enriched uranium. Even if those flaws were resolved in continuing talks, the deal would still fall short of the one that Obama made that had built-in methods of verification, granted Iran far less monetarily, and and cost the U.S. far less in both blood and money.

Meanwhile, Trump has repeatedly said that Iran is “begging” to make a deal. Although there is no evidence of that whatsoever. To the contrary, Iran has contradicted every White House boast of progress at the negotiating table. Simultaneously, Trump has actually hampered negotiations by threatening to send Iran “back to the stone ages” or that “a whole civilization will die tonight.” He has also given Iran several deadlines to surrender that he subsequently ignored when they passed. As a result, no one takes Trump’s word seriously anymore, if they ever did.

In short, Trump has delivered nothing of substance after taking twice as long as he promised to get any results. So to pacify his badly bruised ego, he’s lashing out like a petulant toddler at Obama, an indisputably better man that he plaintively envies. And in the days that follow it is still unlikely that we will see the victory that Trump keeps lauding himself for.

Mental health professionals have weighed in on Trump’s evolving dementia in thoroughly researched and documented studies, such as the book “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.” Making matters worse is that Trump insists on displaying his emotional deficiencies in the most public ways possible.

Continuing that trend, Trump spoke at a political rally Friday in support of a MAGA Republican congressional candidate in New York. And he was in top form for spreading his foolishness far and wide. Among the critical issues that face the nation – war in Iran, inflation, healthcare, etc. – what Trump chose to focus on was his extraordinary ability to craft insulting nicknames for his political enemies. Attacking the Democratic Leader in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, Trump babbled that…

“He’s a dumb guy. I said, ‘Wait a minute. He’s a dumocrat.’ That’s how I got the name. You take the E out. You don’t use the B. A lot of people don’t know dumb has a B in it actually. You don’t need it…They are dumocrats. You know why? Because their policies are dumb.”

WOW! What an incredibly brilliant play on words – for a seven year old. And whenever Trump refers to what “a lot of people don’t know,” he really just means himself and the MAGA-tists who worship him. Even seven year olds know that “dumb” has a B in it.

A little later in the same speech, Trump was heckled by someone in the audience. His comebacks in these situations are never particularly effective. But this time he ventured farther out on the limb of incoherence than usual. He whined about the risks of exercising freedom speech at a Trump cult rally…

“I tell people ‘Please don’t do it, it’s dangerous.’ To do it in this crowd is not a good thing…I like things that aren’t dangerous. I don’t like to see people get whacked. I don’t like it. So don’t do it.”

Trump just warned people not to heckle him at his rallies or his supporters will kill them.Let that sink in. He didn't tell his supporters not to kill people. He told his critics to shut up.

Let that sink in. Trump is admitting that his followers are prone to violence, and that they might actually kill you if you express an opinion different than their Dear Leader.

This is the rhetoric that Trump is embracing while he and his MAGA-tists complain about the hostile tone in politics that they pretend to believe must stop. But unlike the phrase “8647” (which means simply to remove or prohibit someone from a particular place), to “whack” can literally mean to murder, in the Mafioso lingo that Trump likes. And notice that Trump doesn’t tell his followers not to kill people who criticize him. Instead, he tells his critics to shut up or risk getting whacked.

Clearly, Trump cannot handle criticism. His massive ego is far too fragile to tolerate it. Even in his telling of this tale about hecklers, Trump said that in the past “Guys would start screaming ‘We hate you, sir.'” Really? They called him “sir” while expressing their hatred? With absurdities like that, there is really only one way to describe Trump’s behavior. And that is to say that it’s dumb, with B. Coming from the leader of the Dumpublican Party.

The acclaim, however, is not universal. Colbert has managed to stir the ire of a notoriously humorless critic, Donald Trump, who stayed up late to bash Colbert after the last episode of his show was in the can. As Bruce Springsteen said earlier in the week, Colbert is “the first guy in America who lost his show because we’ve got a president who can’t take a joke, [and that Paramount/CBS honchos] Larry and David Ellison feel the need to kiss his ass to get what they want.”

Trump was also up early the next morning to repeat his nastiness for his cult disciples that follow him on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. Trump whined that…

“Colbert is finally finished at CBS. Amazing that he lasted so long! No talent, no ratings, no life. He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”

And he whimpered that…

“Stephen Colbert’s firing from CBS was the ‘Beginning of the End’ for untalented, nasty, highly overpaid, not funny, and very poorly rated Late Night Television Hosts. Others, of even less talent, to soon follow. May they all Rest in Peace! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Donald Trump is SOOOO jealous of the fact that Stephen Colbert is universally beloved and destined for greatness in his post-CBS career.

WOW! What an insightful, informative, and mature message to America. Never mind that it’s all bullshit. Trump is in no position to assess Colbert’s talent. And he is either lying or incredibly stupid (or both) if he thinks that Colbert’s number one rated late night program had no ratings. Trump is also pitifully predicting that Colbert is now “gone,” and that his late night peers will be gone soon as well. Not likely on either count.

UPDATE: No ratings? Variety reports that “‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Finale Attracts 6.74 Million Viewers, Its Most-Watched Weeknight Episode Of All Time.”

Trump also has a penchant for framing his insults in extremely dark terms, describing Colbert as “like a dead person.” That’s wishful thinking on Trump’s part. And, yes, he has made similarly morbid comments in the past…

Trump’s Colbert Derangement Syndrome is more evidence of how uncaring he is about American jobs. Colbert employs about 200 people whose jobs will be over along with the show. But what probably hurt Trump most of all is that in the extended 80 minute broadcast Trump’s name wasn’t mentioned one time. Considering Trump’s massive yet fragile ego, that deliberate neglect is likely still gnawing at him.

Add to that Trump’s raging jealousy that he is only able to attract washed up “celebrities” like Kid Rock, while Colbert was able assemble a huge cast of notables paying tribute to him, including the legendary Paul McCartney…

The PR campaign that the Trump regime has embarked upon since announcing this settlement is as incompetent as one might expect from the notoriously incompetent Trump camp. And the latest example is the interview given by Trump’s U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, to CNBC on Thursday morning.

Replying to questions about Trump’s “Weaponization Slush Fund,” Clayton said that the IRS “intentionally released” Trump’s taxes to embarrass Trump. And that that was the reason for the settlement agreement that created a $1.8 billion slush fund for the criminals and traitors loyal to Trump. Clayton summed up saying that…

“I don’t think we’re gonna be talking about this issue in a week because the American people are gonna say, ‘Look, they leaked his tax returns, they tried to destroy him.”

First of all, it is a flagrant lie that the IRS intentionally released Trump’s taxes. In fact, the IRS didn’t release them at all. They were released by an independent contractor who was working for the IRS during the Trump administration. The contractor was prosecuted and convicted by President Biden’s Justice Department. So by applying Clayton’s logic to the facts, it was the Trump administrations that tried to destroy Trump.

Secondly, the American people are very likely to be talking about this at least until the midterm elections in November. Corruption by the president is a hot topic prior to elections. And Trump has committed more than his share of corruption since his return to the White House. But this time his shameless larceny has even drawn the ire of many Republicans.

Finally, Clayton’s assertion that releasing Trump’s taxes constitutes an effort to “destroy” him is particularly notable. How would leaking his tax returns, like every other president has done in modern times, destroy Trump? Unless, of course, they proved that he was doing something wrong and possibly illegal. So Clayton is effectively raising suspicions that Trump has broken the law and the evidence is in his tax returns which, therefor, must remain secret.

For good measure, Trump’s “acting” Attorney General, Todd Blanche, also sought to defend Trump’s Slush Fund. In doing so he isn’t helping his insistence that he isn’t still “acting” as Trump’s personal criminal defense lawyer. Blanche tried to excuse Trump’s apparent tax fraud during an interview with Paula Reid, CNN’s chief legal affairs correspondent…

Reid: The New York Times has reported that Trump could have owed up to $100 million because of ongoing audits. So are you saying this is not an effort to help him avoid financial liability?

Blanche is parroting Trump’s whining about the “fake news” with the same total absence of facts that Trump does. The article in the New York Times was thorough, well documented, and based largely on Trump’s actual financial records. So trying to dismiss it all with a cheap talking point isn’t going to persuade many people that Trump isn’t a crook.

However, Trump and Blanche and Clayton, et al, know all of that. Which is why Trump’s corrupt settlement deal also included a provision that would prohibit the IRS from auditing Trump, his family, and his businesses. Why do you suppose that was stipulated in the settlement? What is he so desperate to conceal? An innocent man would be anxious to reveal proof of his innocence. but Trump couldn’t be acting more guilty if he tried.

In fact, TDS would be more accurately defined as a pathological disorder that causes one to virtually worship an aspiring cult leader with transparent moral and ethical impairments. And there appears to be a small but loud minority of TDS sufferers in America. Most prominently, Donald Trump himself.

On Wednesday morning Trump spoke to reporters on his way to assault Coast Guard cadets with an entirely inappropriate, partisan, self-exalting commencement speech. He spent most of his time praising himself, insulting Democrats, and lying about both. Very little of his address could be described as inspiring or patriotic.

Among the symptoms of TDS is the compulsion to repeat incessantly claims that Trump won every election that he every ran in. In his demented perception all of his losses were the result of the elections being “rigged and stolen” from him, despite his never having been able to produce a shred of evidence. He lost 60 court cases challenging election results.

At the Coast Guard event Trump was having another episode of TDS panic. He was asked about the upcoming election in Los Angles for mayor, where Spencer Pratt, a reality TV goofball (just like Trump), is the candidate that Trump has embraced. Although he says that he doesn’t know Pratt, he supports him because he “heard he’s a big MAGA person.” Which is the only criteria Trump requires to commit his support. Then Trump commenced to whining about rigged elections saying that…

“You have a really rigged vote in California…You have all the mail-in ballots and everything else. It’s very hard to win because the elections are very dishonest. If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would’ve won California. Because I do great with Hispanics. But it’s a rigged vote.”

For the record, Trump lost in California by 20 points in 2024, and by 30 points in 2020 and 2016. While Jesus is said to have turned water into wine, there’s no biblical record that he could or would turn millions of votes for a decent, honest Democrat into votes for Trump – a serial adulterer, adjudicated rapist, and convicted felon.

It isn’t surprising that Trump, who has literally placed himself in the role of Jesus, would think that Jesus would help him prevail in an election. If anything, Jesus, who preached love, and forsook wealth and materialism, would be more likely to turn votes for Trump into votes for a Democratic candidate who supports values such as caring for the needy, healing the sick, and welcoming immigrants. You know, Christian values.

Trump’s rant also complained about alleged problems with mail-in voting, which is how millions of people vote, including Trump. And once again, he has failed to ever prove that there are any problems beyond a handful of instances that had no impact on any election outcome. Trump also boasted that he does “great with Hispanics.” He’s going to find out how wrong he is about that in November, especially in Texas.

Trump’s case of TDS is acute and disabling. He can’t open his mouth without exhibiting the severity of his illness. But he has had some success in infecting others with weak immune systems, or just weak minds. Some of whom are Republican members of Congress.

However, there is also growing evidence of herd immunity shielding much of the U.S. population from TDS. And the more Trump’s symptoms are on display, the more people are repulsed, and subsequently saved, from the tragedy of acquiring Trump Derangement Syndrome.
