Dagmar Voigt and Stansilav Gorb from the Max-Planck Institute for Metals Research have found that the bugs are covered in a thick greasy nonstick coating that shrugs gorgonias glue off.

Robot vehicle surveys deep sea off Pacific Northwest

Ken Stabler's court appearance for DUI case postponed

Former Alabama football star Kenny Stabler's initial court appearance on a drunk driving charge has been postponed until Oct. 22.

Stabler was initially scheduled to appear in Robertsdale Municipal Court today, but it has been changed, said a Robertsdale Municipal court clerk who declined to provide any other details.

In the early morning hours of June 8, Stabler was driving a white 2007 Dodge Durango north on Alabama 59 when a patrolman stopped him just after midnight, according to the police report. Stabler refused to take a breathalyzer test, and he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

A Foley native and star quarterback at Alabama and later with the NFL's Oakland Raiders, Stabler spent about 12 hours in jail before posting $1,000 bail.
