Fiverr is a website that connects businesses with freelancers around the world. They offer digital services in 300+ categories. I've used Fiverr for so many business tasks for years now, so I wanted to update my Fiverr review. Since then, I've become a VID (Very Important Doer). That's basically a program to reward their most active buyers with special promotions, discounts, and support. Fiverr gets valuable feedback to improve the product, and VIDs usually spend more and are more loyal). In this review, you'll learn what I love and don't love about Fiverr. What I use Fiverr For Here are some

As you know this is an unprecedented time for retail and business. We hear about people's hours getting cut or being laid off from their jobs completely. People are spending money on essentials and seeing cuts to hours, pay and even losing jobs. Affiliate marketers like me are self employed, so this is our livelihood. There's no guaranteed paycheck. We usually do the work up front to see returns later. It's like being on straight commission and at any time a brand can say, effective now (or most say 1 week) you can continue to sell but you get nothing

I previously wrote about influencer backlash and how some influencers or ‘wanna be' influencers tarnish the industry. Most influencers and most of the influencers I work with, contribute to society, they don't take from and ruin it. They have something valuable to offer. Their work is a sustainable business. Though it might be enjoyable (not all parts) it costs money, time and has expertise. Except maybe this guy, but he shows up consistently and basically produces his own life as a reality show where people pay him so they can catch the next episode. I have no issue with that.

Do you create videos on YouTube, Vimeo, Marco Polo, Facebook video or Facebook Lives? If so, are you creating a text file of your videos? The benefit of transcribing your videos is that then you can use it for your blog posts, video descriptions and captions. That way, you get several pieces of content for your work. Another reason you might need transcription services is to transcribe any audio recording such as a meeting, interview, etc. They could be turned into a press release, social media updates, or meeting notes for attendees. You could even record a phone conversation through

If you are a professional blogger, you have likely already given a lot of thought to your SEO strategy. You may have hired an outside company to help boost your pages and you know the importance of keywords. Or maybe you have no idea what “SEO” even stands for. Either way, SEO (search engine optimization) is a critical part of any content creator’s marketing strategy. And if you are a blogger, you’re lucky! You don’t have to hire someone else to increase SEO for you, you are doing it every time you write a new blog post. Here are

As far as I know, Utah is home to 7 bed in a box mattress companies, including: Purple mattress in Alpine, Voila in Lehi, Linenspa in Logan, Cariloha in Sandy, Legends Sleep in Park City, and the newest: mvmnt mattress which is based in Salt Lake City. The company, which is locally funded, launched just 8 weeks ago. Each of these brands is unique in it's own way. They're all sold primarily online. In an online world full of all-the-same foam block mattresses, these brands are unique. Purple has what they call the comfort grid which is a flexible polymer top layer and

A new survey from Entrata, reveals the vast majority of residents are willing to pay higher rent payments to have more technology in their apartments. They want smart home amenities and high-speed internet. The survey findings highlight an opportunity for apartment owners to increase revenue and draw renters. While not specifically mentioned I bet the same would apply to AirBnb rentals and vacation rental homes. The survey was taken in January 2018, via Qualtrics from 1,050 U.S. consumers who are over the age of 18 and rent an apartment. People usually think amenities like a swimming pool or other creative

Some people think influencers are entitled, freeloaders or fakes. Instead of comping an influencer or paying for her work, they're publicly exposing and bashing them – using the influencer's popularity to capitalize on their name and followers for free. Really it's another spin on polarizing marketing which I've written about before (these happen to be Utah businesses, like the kilt and gun toting waiters the pro gun ice cream shop or the smoothie shop who charged liberals more than conservatives). This isn't new. What's new is I'm seeing more businesses or even other influencers lash out against social media stars. Take the

Did you know that paper checks have gone digital and mobile? You can send or recieve a business check via email with eChecks! Just to review, I'm talking about bank checks, personal or business checks that you get from a bank or buy from a company like Deluxe. Yes people still use them. You know how you hear “the checks in the mail” after all the time you spent trying to collect from a client? Whenever you hear that I automatically add 3 or more days on to when you get paid. This check is there in 3 seconds. eChecks are an
