ইতিমধ্যে বেশ কয়েকটি ফ্লাইওভার ও নতুন সড়ক ঢাকার উত্তরের বেশির ভাগ অংশকে করেছে যানজটমুক্ত। কুড়িল-বিশ্বরোড ফ্লাইওভার, জিল্লুর রহমান ফ্লাইওভার (মিরপুর-বিমানবন্দর সড়ক), বনানী ওভারপাস ও পূর্বাঞ্চলে লিংক রোডের মাধ্যমে এ অঞ্চলে যাতায়াতে এসেছে তুলনামূলক স্বস্তি। মেয়র হানিফ ফ্লাইওভার নগরবাসীকে দিয়েছে যাত্রাবাড়ী-সায়েদাবাদের দুঃসহ যানজট থেকে মুক্তি। নগরীর মধ্যস্থানে থাকা হাতিরঝিলও কাছে এনেছে গুলশান ও কারওয়ানবাজারকে।

যানজটমুক্ত রাজধানী গড়ে তুলতে মহাপরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করেছে সরকার। ঢাকা মহানগরী ও তৎসংলগ্ন পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকার যানজট নিরসন ও পরিবেশ উন্নয়নে ঢাকা ম্যাস ট্রানজিট কোম্পানি লিমিটেড (ডিএমটিসিএল)- এর আওতায় ২০৩০ সালের মধ্যে ছয়টি মেট্রোরেল সমন্বয়ে একটি শক্তিশালী নেটওয়ার্ক গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে বিভিন্ন মেয়াদের কর্মপরিকল্পনা নেওয়া হয়েছে।

এসব পরিকল্পনার কিছু ইতিমধ্যে বাস্তবায়ন হয়েছে, কিছু বাস্তবায়নাধীন এবং কিছু প্রকল্প অনুমোদন হয়ে আছে। নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে এসব প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়িত হলে আগামী ২০৩০ সালের মধ্যে বদলে যাবে রাজধানী।

সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতু মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে প্রাপ্ত তথ্য অনুযায়ী, মহান স্বাধীনতার ৫০ বছর পূর্তি উদযাপন বর্ষ ২০২১ সালের ১৬ ডিসেম্বর দেশের প্রথম উড়াল মেট্রোরেলের সম্পূর্ণ অংশ আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে উদ্বোধনের পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে সরকারের।

গত ৩১ মে পর্যন্ত মেট্রোরেল প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের সার্বিক গড় অগ্রগতি প্রায় ২৫ শতাংশ। প্রথম পর্যায়ে নির্মাণের জন্য নির্ধারিত উত্তরা তৃতীয় পর্ব থেকে আগারগাঁও অংশের পূর্ত কাজের অগ্রগতি ৪০.৫৮ শতাংশ। ইতিমধ্যে পাঁচ কিলোমিটার ভায়াডাক্ট দৃশ্যমান হয়েছে।

২০৩০ সালের মধ্যে রাজধানীকে যানজটমুক্ত করার লক্ষ্যে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে গাজীপুর পর্যন্ত ২০ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ বাস র্যাপিড ট্রান্সপোর্ট (বিআরটি) প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নাধীন। সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতু মন্ত্রী জানান, এ প্রকল্পটি বাস্তবায়িত হলে ঘণ্টায় উভয়দিকে ৩০ হাজার যাত্রী পরিবহন করা সম্ভব হবে।

উভয় পাশে ধীরগতির যানবাহনের জন্য এক স্তর নিচ দিয়ে সার্ভিস লেনসহ ৫৫ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ ঢাকা-খুলনা মহাসড়কের যাত্রাবাড়ী ইন্টারসেকশন থেকে (ইকুরিয়া-বাবুবাজার লিংক সড়কসহ) মাওয়া এবং পাচ্চর-ভাঙ্গা পর্যন্ত মহাসড়ক উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পও বাস্তবায়নাধীন। এটি হবে দেশের প্রথম এক্সপ্রেসওয়ে।

সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতু মন্ত্রণালয় জানায়, পাবলিক-প্রাইভেট পার্টনারশিপ (পিপিপি) ভিত্তিতে ঢাকা-চট্টগ্রাম এক্সপ্রেসওয়ে নির্মাণেরও পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে সরকারের। এছাড়া পিপিপি ভিত্তিতে হাতিরঝিল-ডেমরা-আমুলিয়া-শেখেরজায়গা-বনশ্রী-রামপুরা আইডিয়াল স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজ মহাসড়কের উভয় পাশে সার্ভিস লেন নির্মাণসহ এটিকে চার লেনে উন্নীত করা হবে। ঘনবসতিপূর্ণ পুরান ঢাকার যানজট নিরসন ও উন্মুক্ত স্থানের সংস্থান করার লক্ষ্যেও নেওয়া হয়েছে আরবান রিন্যুয়াল প্রকল্প।

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: হাওড়-বাঁওড়, পাহাড়ীসহ দুর্গম এলাকা ও নারী শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানকে সর্বোচ্চ অগ্রাধিকারের ভিত্তিতে দীর্ঘ ৮ বছর পর এমপিওভুক্ত (মান্থলি পেমেন্ট অর্ডার) হতে যাচ্ছে সরকার স্বীকৃত বেসরকারী শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। নতুন করে এমপিও পেতে পারে প্রায় তিন হাজার বেসরকারী স্কুল, কলেজ, মাদ্রাসা ও কারিগরি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান।

চলতি অর্থবছরে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর জন্য বরাদ্দ রাখা হচ্ছে এক হাজার ১৪৭ কোটি টাকা। আর নতুন ও পুরাতন এমপিওভুক্ত সকল শিক্ষক ও কর্মচারীদের বেতন-ভাতা হিসেবে সরকার ১৫ হাজার কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ রেখেছে। গত অর্থবছরে এই বরাদ্দ ছিল ১৩ হাজার ১৪৪ কোটি টাকা।

এমপিওর জন্য গঠিত ‘প্রতিষ্ঠান বাছাই কমিটির সদস্যদের সঙ্গে কথা বলে জানা গেছে, প্রায় ১০ হাজার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান এমপিওর জন্য আবেদন করলেও তাদের মধ্যে যোগ্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের সংখ্যা খুব বেশি নেই। এমপিওর জন্য প্রযোজ্য চার শর্ত শতভাগ পূরণ করতে পেরেছে দুই হাজারেও কম প্রতিষ্ঠান।

তবে দীর্ঘদিন এমপিও বন্ধ থাকার কথা বিবেচনায় নিয়ে আরও কিছু প্রতিষ্ঠানকে এমপিওভুক্ত করতে চায় সরকার। কমিটির একাধিক সদস্য বৃহস্পতিবার জানিয়েছেন, এখন পর্যন্ত সম্ভাব্য এমপিওর তালিকায় এসেছে দুই হাজার ৭৬২ প্রতিষ্ঠান।

জানা গেছে, এখন পর্যন্ত তালিকায় আসা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর মধ্যে আছে এক হাজার ৬২৯টি স্কুল ও কলেজ, ৫৮২ কারিগরি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান এবং ৫৫১ মাদ্রাসা। যাদের এমপিওভুক্ত হওয়ার সব যোগ্যতা রয়েছে বলে বলছে কমিটি।

বর্তমানে দেশে এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান আছে ২৭ হাজার ৮১০টি। এসব প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষক-কর্মচারীর সংখ্যা প্রায় ৫ লাখ। নতুন আরও তিন হাজার প্রতিষ্ঠান এমপিওভুক্ত হলে সেই প্রতিষ্ঠান ও আগের ২৭ হাজার ৮১০ প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক ও কর্মচারীদের বেতন-ভাতা হিসেবে নতুন অর্থবছরে ১৫ হাজার কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ রেখেছে সরকার।

এর আগে ২০১৩-১৪ অর্থবছরে এই বরাদ্দ ছিল ৫ হাজার ৩৪৩ কোটি টাকা, ২০১৪-১৫ অর্থবছরে ৫ হাজার ৬২০ কোটি, ২০১৫-১৬ অর্থবছরে ৯ হাজার ৬৯১ কোটি, ২০১৬-১৭ অর্থবছরে ১০ হাজার ৯৩৩ কোটি। ২০১৭-১৮ অর্থবছরে ১১ হাজার ১২ কোটি, ২০১৮-১৯ অর্থবছরে ১৩ হাজার ১৪৪ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ রাখা হয়েছিল।

জানা গেছে, ২০১০ সালের পর গত ৮ বছরে এমপিওভুক্ত হয়নি কোন বেসরকারী শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। অথচ এই সময়ে ৭ হাজারেরও বেশি বেসরকারী স্কুল, কলেজ, মাদ্রাসা প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ২০১০ সালের আগে একাডেমিক স্বীকৃতি পাওয়া নন-এমপিও প্রতিষ্ঠানও আছে প্রায় তিন হাজার।

সব মিলিয়ে ১০ হাজারেরও বেশি সরকার স্বীকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠান আছে এমপিওর অপেক্ষায়। এসব প্রতিষ্ঠানের কয়েক লাখ শিক্ষক কর্মচারী বছরের পর বছর ধরে অপেক্ষা করছেন এমপিওর জন্য। ২০১১ সাল থেকেই চলছে এমপিওর দাবির আন্দোলন। বিভিন্ন সময় সংসদ সদস্যরাও নিজ এলাকার প্রতিষ্ঠান এমপিওর জন্য একই দাবিতে সোচ্চার হয়েছেন। তবে শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডাঃ দিপু মনিসহ মন্ত্রণালয়ের কর্মকর্তারা বলছেন, এবার এমপিও নিয়ে অপেক্ষার অবসান হচ্ছে।

অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ অতিথি শিল্প প্রতিমন্ত্রী কামাল আহমেদ মজুমদার বলেন, আমদানি নির্ভরশীল না হয়ে দেশে গুণগত মানসম্মত লবণ উৎপাদন বাড়ানোর লক্ষে শিল্প মন্ত্রণালয়ের আওতায় বিসিকের মাধ্যমে নানামুখী উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। ইতোমধ্যে ইউনিসেফের সহায়তায় লবণ চাষের নতুন প্রযুক্তি পাইলটিং কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়িত হচ্ছে।তিনি বলেন, নতুন প্রযুক্তি লবণ চাষিদের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে দেশে অধিক পরিমাণ গুণগত মানসম্মত লবণ উৎপাদন সম্ভব হবে।

পুলিশের ওয়ারী বিভাগের ডিসি ইফতেখার আহমেদ ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করে জানান, গ্রেফতার হারুনের বাড়ি নারায়ণগঞ্জের সোনারগাঁয়। ঘটনার পর সে পলাতক ছিল। তার মোবাইল ফোনও বন্ধ ছিল। পরে পুলিশ তার অবস্থান শনাক্ত করে তাকে সোনারগাঁ থেকে ধরে আনে।

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: বগুড়ার শেরপুরে এক গৃহধূর ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। ওই গৃহবধূর নাম বিপাশা রানী সরকার (২০)। গত শনিবার (০৬জুলাই) সন্ধ্যায় উপজেলার বিশালপুর ইউনিয়নের উঁদগ্রামে এই ঘটনাটি ঘটে। পরে ওই রাতেই পুলিশ নিহতের লাশ উদ্ধার করে থানায় আনে।

আজ রোববার (০৭জুলাই) ওই গৃহবধূর লাশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য বগুড়া শহীদ জিয়াউর রহমান মেডিকেল কলেজ (শজিমেক) হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়। নিহত বিপাশা রানী জেলার নন্দীগ্রাম উপজেলার মাড়িয়া গ্রামের বিপ্লব চন্দ্র সরকারের মেয়ে। এদিকে নিহতের স্বজনদের অভিযোগ, স্বামীর পরিবারের লোকজনের অত্যাচার নির্যাতন সইতে না পেরে গৃহবধূ বিপাশা রানী নিজ শয়নকক্ষের তীরের সঙ্গে গলায় রশি লাগিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে।

উক্ত ঘটনায় আত্মহত্যার প্ররোচনার অভিযোগ এনে স্বামী প্রশান্ত চন্দ্র সরকার, শ্বশুর সুনীল চন্দ্র সরকার ও শাশুড়ী সারর্থী রানীর বিরুদ্ধে থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ দেন নিহত ওই গৃহবধূর বাবা। পরে ওই গৃহবধূর স্বামী প্রশান্ত ও শ্বশুড় সুনীলকে আটক করে পুলিশ।

অভিযোগে জানা যায়, বছর তিনেক আগে উপজেলার বিশালপুর ইউনিয়নের উঁদগ্রামের প্রশান্ত চন্দ্র সরকারের সঙ্গে বিপাশা রানীর বিয়ে হয়। বিয়েতে নগদ তিন লাখ টাকা ও একটি বাজাজ মোটরসাইকেল যৌতুক দেয়া হয়। সংসার জীবনে তাদের পরিবারে একটি ছেলে সন্তানের জন্ম হয়।

কিন্তু বিয়ের পর থেকেই বউ হিসেবে বিপাশাকে পছন্দ নয়-এমন অভিযোগ তুলেন স্বামীর ও তার পরিবারের সদস্যরা। তাই কোন কারণ ছাড়াই ওই গৃবধূর ওপর শারিরীক ও মানষিক নির্যাতন চালানো হতো।

একপর্যায়ে তাদের অমানবিক নির্যাতন সইতে না পেরে শনিবার ঘটনার সময়ে গলায় ফাঁস দিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছে বলে অভিযোগে দাবি করা হয়েছে। তবে এসব অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করে স্বামী প্রশান্ত সরকার বলেন, বিপাশার সঙ্গে কোন কথাই হয়নি। এরপরও কেন সে আত্মহত্যা করলো তা বুঝতে পারছি না।

এ প্রসঙ্গে জানতে চাইলে শেরপুর থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) পুতুল মোহন্ত জানান, উক্ত ঘটনায় প্রাথমিকভাবে অপমৃত্যু মামলা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে। তবে ময়না তদন্তের প্রতিবেদন অনুযায়ী পরবর্তীতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে। এছাড়া ওই গৃহবধূর স্বামী-শ্বশুড়কে আটক করা হয়েছে বলে এই পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা জানান।

এসময় সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতু মন্ত্রণালয় বিভাগের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়, পদ্মা সেতু প্রকল্প এলাকায় একটি যাদুঘর স্থাপনের কাজ চলমান রয়েছে। চলতি বছরের জুন পর্যন্ত ২০২৩টি নমুনা যাদুঘরে সংরক্ষণ করা হয়েছে।

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: রেলপথ মন্ত্রী অ্যাডভোকেট নুরুল ইসলাম সুজন বলেছেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার প্রতিশ্রুতি অনুযায়ী আগামী ২৫ জুলাই থেকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-ঢাকা রুটে বনলতা আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালু হচ্ছে। তিনি বলেন, বর্তমানে রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রুটে চলাচলকারী বিরতিহীন বনলতা এক্সপ্রেসকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ পর্যন্ত সম্প্রসারণ করা হবে। এজন্য চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেলস্টেশন ভবনের আধুনিকায়নের কাজ চলছে।

আজ শুক্রবার দুপুরে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেলওয়ে স্টেশন পরিদর্শনকালে স্থানীয় আওয়ামী লীগ আয়োজিত এক সমাবেশে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে তিনি এসব কথা বলেন।

সমাবেশে রেলপথ মন্ত্রী নুরুল ইসলাম সুজন আরো বলেন, রেল মন্ত্রণালয়ের দায়িত্ব নেওয়ার পরই তিনি চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-ঢাকা রুটে আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালু করতে রেলের পশ্চিমাঞ্চলের জিএমকে নির্দেশ দেন। অবশেষে সব প্রক্রিয়া শেষ করে আগামী ২৫ জলাই থেকে চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জবাসীর প্রাণের এই দাবি বাস্তবায়ন করা হচ্ছে।

তিনি বলেন, বর্তমানে রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রুটে চলাচলকারী বিরতিহীন বনলতা এক্সপ্রেস চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ পর্যন্ত সম্প্রসারিত করা হবে। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ থেকে ছেড়ে এই ট্রেনটি শুধু রাজশাহী রেলস্টেশনে যাত্রাবিরতি করবে। চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের জন্য একটি শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত বগি ও দুটি শোভন বগির ২৭৬টি আসন বরাদ্দ থাকবে। বাকি ৫০০ আসন রাজশাহীর জন্যে বরাদ্দ থাকবে।

তিনি আরো বলেন, আন্তঃনগর ট্রেন চালুর জন্যই চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ রেল স্টেশনে নতুন প্লাটফর্ম, আরেকটি রেল লাইন, ওয়াসপিট ও ওয়াটার সেড নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে।

চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-রাজশাহী-ঢাকা রেলপথকে ডাবল লাইনে রুপান্তরের ব্যাপারে সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি বলেন, রেলের গতি বাড়াতে পর্যায়ক্রমে দেশের সব রেললাইনই ডাবল লাইনে রুপান্তর করা হবে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর প্রতিশ্রুত সোনামসজিদ স্থলবন্দর পর্যন্ত রেললাইন সম্প্রসারণের বিষয়ে তিনি বলেন, ভারতের সঙ্গে আলোচনা করে এ ব্যাপারে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হবে। এসময় চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ-১ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য ডা. সামিল উদ্দিন আহমেদ শিমুল, রাজশাহীর নারী সংসদ সদস্য আদিবা আঞ্জুম মিতা, পশ্চিমাঞ্চল রেলওয়ের ব্যবস্থাপক (জিএম) শহিদুল ইসলাম, সাবেক ছাত্রলীগ নেতা রবিউল ইসলাম বুদু, শিবগঞ্জ উপজেলা চেয়ারম্যান নজরম্নল ইসলমাম তার সঙ্গে ছিলেন।

বাংলা নিউস রিপোর্ট ২৪: পবিত্র ঈদুল ফিতর উপলক্ষে জাতীয় ঈদগাহের জামাতে মুসল্লিরা জায়নামাজ ছাড়া অন্যকিছু নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না। তবে প্রয়োজনে ছাতা নিয়ে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন। মুসল্লিদের অন্য কিছু বহন না করার অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশ (ডিএমপি) কমিশনার আছাদুজ্জামান মিয়া।

আজ সোমবার সকালে জাতীয় ঈদগাহের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা পরিদর্শন শেষে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে তিনি একথা বলেন।ডিএমপি কমিশনার বলেন, ঈদগাহের ভেতরে পুরো এলাকায় সিসি ক্যামেরা লাগানো থাকবে। পুলিশের কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে এগুলোর ফুটেজ মনিটরিং করা হবে। এছাড়াও আগত মুসল্লিদের তিন ধাপে তল্লাশি করে ঈদগাহে প্রবেশ করতে দেয়া হবে।

কমিশনার বলেন, ঈদ জামাতে আগত মুসল্লিরা জায়নামাজ ও ছাতা নিয়ে আসতে পারবেন। এর বাইরে কোনো কিছু সঙ্গে নিয়ে আসা যাবে না। দাহ্য পদার্থ থেকে শুরু করে ব্যাগ, ছুরি-কাঁচি, ব্লেড সঙ্গে রাখা যাবে না। পুলিশ চাইলে জায়নামাজ ও ছাতা খুলে দেখাতে হবে। কারও উদ্বিগ্ন হওয়ার কারণ নেই। ঈদ জামাতের চারদিকে পর্যাপ্ত নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা থাকবে।

তিনি বলেন, ঈদের জামাতের জন্য সম্পূর্ণ প্রস্তুত জাতীয় ঈদগাহ ময়দান। ঈদ জামাতকে ঘিরে কয়েক স্তুরের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে ডিএমপি। এর মধ্যে পোশাকধারী পুলিশ, সাদা পোশাকে ডিবি পুলিশ, সোয়াত, সিটিটিসি, বোম্ব ডিসপোজাল ইউনিট, আর্চওয়ে ও সিসিটিভি মনিটরিং ব্যবস্থা থাকবে। এর মধ্য দিয়েই মুসল্লিদের ঈদ জামাতে প্রবেশ করতে হবে।

জাতীয় ঈদগাহের জামাতে সন্দেহজনক কোনো কিছু দেখলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তা পুলিশকে জানানোর আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন ডিএমপি কমিশনার আছাদুজ্জামান মিয়া।

কমিশনার আরও বলেন, ঢাকা শহরে জাতীয় ঈদ জামাত বাদেও অন্তত আরও কয়েকশ জামাত অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। আমরা সেগুলোতেও সাধ্যমতো নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করবো। কোথাও কোথাও আর্চওয়ে না থাকলেও ফিজিক্যালি সার্চিং করা হবে।

সেক্ষেত্রে নাগরিকদের পুলিশকে সহায়তা করার আহ্বান জানান কমিশনার। তিনি আরও বলেন, আমরা চাই নিরাপত্তার বিষয়ে নাগরিকরাও যাতে সচেতন থাকেন। কোথাও কিছু দেখলে তা যেন পুলিশ কন্ট্রোল রুম, ট্রিপল নাইন ও সংশ্লিষ্ট পুলিশ সদস্যদের অবহিত করেন। অতীতের নিরাপত্তার কথা মাথায় রেখেই এবারের নিরাপত্তাব্যবস্থা জোরদার করা হয়েছে।

তথ্যপ্রযুক্তির সহায়তায় প্রাথমিক তদন্তে জানা যায়, এই ৬ আসামি সংঘবদ্ধ আন্তর্জাতিক জালিয়াত চক্রের সদস্য। তারা অভিনব পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করে ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংকের এটিএম বুথের সিস্টেম হ্যাক করে। ডিজিটাল জালিয়াতির মাধ্যমে টাকা তোলার জন্য এই আসামিরা বাংলাদেশে এসেছেন। জালিয়াতির এই ঘটনার মূল রহস্য উদঘাটনের জন্য আসামিদের ৮ দিন রিমান্ডে নিয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করার জন্য আবেদন জানায় ডিবি।

রিমান্ড শুনানির সময় আইনজীবী এইচ এম মাসুম আদালতে হাজির ছিলেন। তিনি জানান, আসামিরা ওকালতনামায় স্বাক্ষর করেননি। আদালত শুনানি শেষে প্রত্যেক আসামির তিন দিন করে রিমান্ড মঞ্জুর করেন।জালিয়াতির মাধ্যমে এটিএম বুথ থেকে টাকা তোলার অভিযোগে ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংকের ডেলিভারি চ্যানেলের হেড অব অলটারনেট মশিউর রহমান বাদী হয়ে খিলগাঁও থানায় ২ জুন রোববার মামলা করেন।

ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইনে এই মামলা করা হয়। মামলার এজাহারে মশিউর বলেন, সংঘবদ্ধ ডিজিটাল জালিয়াত চক্রটি খিলগাঁও তালতলা মার্কেটের সামনের ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংকের এটিএম বুথসহ আমাদের অন্যান্য বুথ থেকে ডিজিটাল জালিয়াতির মাধ্যমে ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংকের এটিএম বুথের টাকা উত্তোলন করছে।

গত শুক্রবার রাত সাড়ে ১১টার দিকে ব্যাংকটির বাড্ডা বুথের দুটি এটিএম বুথ থেকে দুই বিদেশি নাগরিক বিভিন্ন কার্ড ব্যবহার করে একাধিকবার টাকা উত্তোলন করেন। বুথ থেকে একজন বের হয়ে আবারও টাকা তোলেন। এ সময় বুথে নিরাপত্তাকর্মীরাও উপস্থিতি ছিলেন।

সিসিটিভি ফুটেজে দেখা গেছে, টাকা উত্তোলনের সময় মাস্ক দিয়ে মুখ ঢাকার চেষ্টা করেছেন তারা, চোখে ছিল সানগ্লাস, মাথায় ছিল টুপি।অভিনব এ নতুন কৌশলে টাকা চুরির ঘটনা নতুন করে চিন্তার ছাপ ফেলেছে দেশের ব্যাংকারদের মধ্যে। কারণ, এর আগে যতবারই এটিএম থেকে টাকা চুরি হয়েছে, প্রতিবারই গ্রাহকের কার্ডের তথ্য চুরি করে ক্লোন কার্ড তৈরি করেছিলেন জড়িত ব্যক্তিরা।

প্রতিবারই গ্রাহক ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছিলেন। এবারের ঘটনায় পুরো এটিএম বুথের নিয়ন্ত্রণ নেন জড়িত বিদেশিরা। কিভাবে তারা বুথ থেকে টাকা চুরি করলেন, তার কোন কূল-কিনারা করতে পারেননি ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংক ও পুলিশ কর্মকর্তারা। এতে দেশের এটিএম সেবার নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে নতুন করে শঙ্কা দেখা দিয়েছে।

জানা গেছে, গত শনিবার সকালে বাড্ডার এটিএম বুথের টাকার হিসাব মেলানোর সময় তিন লাখ টাকা কম হয়। ওই এটিএমের দায়িত্বে ছিলেন ওরনেট গ্রুপের নিরাপত্তাকর্মীরা। সিসিটিভি ফুটেজ দেখে ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষ দুই বিদেশি কর্তৃক টাকা উত্তোলনের বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত হয়।

এরপর সব এটিএম বুথে নিরাপত্তা বাড়ায় ডাচ-বাংলা ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষ। শনিবার রাতেই খিলগাঁওয়ের তালতলা এলাকায় ডাচ-বাংলার এটিএমে টাকা চুরি করতে গেলে দুই বিদেশির একজন ধরা পড়ে। পরে আরও পাঁচ বিদেশিকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ।

ঢাকা মহানগর পুলিশের গোয়েন্দা বিভাগের (পূর্ব) খিলগাঁও অঞ্চলের অতিরিক্ত উপকমিশনার শাহিদুর রহমান বলেন, তাদের কাছে যে কার্ডগুলো পাওয়া গেছে, সেগুলো এটিএম বুথে ঢোকানোর সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই ব্যাংকের কেন্দ্রীয় সার্ভারের সঙ্গে ওই বুথের সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যায়। এরপর তারা নিজেদের মতো করে টাকা তুলে নিয়ে যায়। এটি সম্পূর্ণ নতুন ও অভিনব পদ্ধতি। আগে কখনো এই পদ্ধতির ব্যবহার তাদের নজরে আসেনি।

নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহণ থেকে শুরু করে বিএনপি থেকে বিজয়ী সংসদ সদস্যদের সংসদে যোগদানের বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ প্রকট আকার ধারণ করেছে দলটির ভেতরে বাহিরে। ফলশ্রুতিতে দলটির ভবিষ্যৎ রাজনৈতিক কর্মসূচি নিয়ে অনেকটাই বিভ্রান্ত দলটির তৃণমূল নেতাকর্মীরা।

দলীয় সূত্র জানায়, বিএনপির প্রভাবশালী নেতা ও স্থায়ী কমিটির অন্যতম সদস্য ড.খন্দকার মোশাররফ হোসেন, ব্যারিস্টার মওদুদ আহমদ, গয়েশ্বর চন্দ্র রায় প্রমুখ দলের হাইকমান্ডের কাছে ব্যাখ্যা চেয়েছেন কেন নির্বাচন প্রত্যাখ্যান করে আবার সংসদে গেল বিএনপি।

দলীয় নেতাকর্মীদের বিভ্রান্তি প্রসঙ্গে বুধবার দলটির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা জিয়াউর রহমানের ৩৮তম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে রাজধানীতে আয়োজিত এক আলোচনা সভায় ব্যারিস্টার মওদুদ আহমদ বলেছেন, নির্বাচনের পর দলীয়ভাবে আমরা ফল প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিলাম। সংসদকে অনির্বাচিত, অবৈধ সংসদ হিসেবে অভিহিত করেছিলাম।
