This course is an exploration of mysticism, what it is and what it is not. Each current and ancient religion has drawn from the inspired teachings of mystics -- people who truly understood the Truth of our Oneness with the Divine. Their knowings are the common thread that runs through the deep level of all formal religions and of our own longing for Divine connection. The purpose of this class is to recognize that there is a mystic within each of us, and that it is our charge and blessing to live the mystical life in practical, concrete form. This course is ideal for anyone seeking to deepen their awareness of the Divine Reality in daily living.

Rather than being times of family togetherness, sharing and thanksgiving, holidays can bring feelings of sadness, loss and emptiness.

In a safe setting, we’ll look together at ways to move through the holiday season and better cope with grief during this time of year when others are celebrating.
