Concerned that if the 'wrong' candidate wins -
it'll spell certain financial doom and gloom.

Guess what? I won't be one of them...nor will Yanik Silver.

Why?

Quite simply because we've figured out how to write our
own ticket regardless of what's going on with the crazy
economy, the next person in the White House or any
external factor!

It starts from figuring out how to create profits on
demand (just like turning a tap). Then that gives you
freedom to do what you want and when you want. And it
expands to how you live your life and what meaning you
bring to others.

This is what Yanik calls his "Maverick Philosophy for
Entrepreneurs" - It's a way to make more, have more fun
and give back more! It's his 'Maverick Manifesto'!

Want to see what he's talking about?

He's put up a free 60+ minute video right here:
Freedom Video

Sincerely,

J

P.S. Yes, I know, I know, the word "Maverick" has been
stomped on with the election but it makes sense here
because you get to write your own rules. You get to be
the person that decides how to play the 'game' and that's
being a renegade...someone who's NOT going to cower in the
corner while the media tells us the sky is falling.

If you'd like to join us - you'll want to watch this
powerful video:
Freedom Video
NextGiant.com

Going Home...

YOU CAN NEVER GO HOME AGAIN

by Thomas Wolfe

"There is something good in the way people welcome success, or anything - no matter what - that is stamped with the markings of success. It is not an ugly thing, really. People love success because to most of them it means happiness, and, whatever form it takes, it is the image of what they, in their hearts would like to be.

This is more true in America than anywhere else. People put this label on the image of their heart's desire because they have never had an image of another kind of happiness. So, essentially, this love of success is not a bad thing, but a good thing. It calls forth a general and noble response even though the response may also be mixed with self-interest.

People are happy for your happiness because they want so much to be happy themselves. Therefor it's a good thing. The idea behind it is good anyhow. The only trouble with it is that the direction is misplaced. Success, by and large, is defined by society. Happiness, on the other hand, is defined by the individual. Seldom are the two things the same."

NextGiant.com

s l o w n e s s

Are you running around like a chicken with your head cut off? Look around the house, in the bathroom, maybe in the garage, how about your closet? What did you find? Probably a lot of useless stuff.

There is interesting 20 minute video at StoryOfStuff.com about stuff and its disastrous effects on our planet. This video is mostly a slap in the face to the production and consumption of stuff by the countries who produce stuff. Even if you disagree with some of the stuff in the video, the message is pretty clear. We are killing the planet and killing ourselves with "stuff" Time to wake up people. Your stuff is junk. Just watch the video and you will see what I mean.

Now for a more entertaining look at stuff, let's ask George Carlin about his opinion of stuff... enjoy!

NextGiant.com

Catching Wild Hogs

The Story

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, ‘Do you know how to catch wild pigs?’

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. ‘You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedoms - just a little at a time...

NextGiant.com

Good Investment Advice

If you had purchased $1,000 of Nortel stock one year ago...

You would have <span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!)

The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

NextGiant.com

David Ledoux Turns 12

An Internet Marketer Turns 12 by David Ledoux

I've been marketing on the internet since 1996. 12 long human years, and it feels like a century in web years.

That means I'm old...real old. I can pull my green checkered pants up high on my chest, tighten my white leather belt, adjust my bifocals and yell at you kids to get off my lawn!

Back in 1996, we didn't have Adobe Acrobat. In my opinion the ability to create a digital product that no one could mess with changed the game forever. Before we had Adobe, we would email rich text files to people. Or Microsoft 2.0 Word Files. Or Old Wordperfect files.

And screw jobs would edit them, steal them and mess with them. Piracy was rampant. People would steal your ebooks along with the dancing baby and spinning earth widgets on your website!

Everyone zoomed along with 2800 baud modems. But a few of us had vision. I remember in early 1996 I interviewed several millionaires on the telephone on a huge conference call. I had the audio cassettes transcribed by a local girl (there was no Elance in those days!) and then given away on one of my earliest sites. More than 12,000 people downloaded that transcript in '96. Those were record numbers back then!

And then I broke new ground. A young upstart company called Real Audio had a program to convert a sound file into an audio file thatcould be streamed over the "information super highway". That's what we called the Interweb back in my day.

We had skinny little tubes that pushed data into people's computers. And Rob Glazer had figured out a way to do it with sound. By the middle of '97 I had several hours of streaming audio on my site. I was a pioneer!

It was easy to rank high on Alta Vista. That's what we used to call Google back in the day. Then that Wang kid started Yahoo. I phoned him in early '96 I think to get my site listed.

When a 14 year old John Reese invented the "automatic emailer program" back in '96 we used it to send email newsletters to our friends. This autoresponder-thingy gained steam when my friend Tom launched Aweber. I was one of their first 99 customers. I've been getting royalty checks from them for a decade!

The cool thing about email back in '96 was everyone read your stuff. People got so few emails back them, we'd get like a 99% open and read rate. People would actually thank you for emailing them! Maybe it was the steady diet of awesome TV like Friends, Seinfeld
and The Simpsons.

Ah, the good old days. Internet marketing was simpler back then. We walked to school 3 miles each way, barefoot uphill in snow, and we liked it! None of this fancy flash stuff, no YouTube, no wireless, no highspeed, voice-over-Magnum-PI, pay-per-tick, mumbo-jumbo. We made our money the old fashioned way online. We made 3 page static websites and sold them for five grand a pop....

Like any goldrush, the web back in 1996 was insane. There was a lot of money to be made selling donkeys, rope, pans, eggs, picks and shovels. Back then we'd sell the map to the gold mine and hungry marketers would pay us top dollar. Today these lazy Red Bull drinking kids want the map for free, the shovel for free, and someone to dig up the gold for them for free while they sit on their ever-widening behind playing Donkey Kong on their Wii!

You young interweb whipper-snappers listen up! Anytime you feel like complaining, remember this old coots words..."You ain't got no clue how easy it is getting rich on the internet today! Now get off my lawn...."

David Ledoux is a lifelong entrepreneur, author, speaker and trainer. He says that he does everything fast, he eats fast, breathes fast and lives fast.

In his early twenties, before being diagnosed with testicular cancer, Lance Armstrong was rapidly being regarded as the greatest cycler ever.

However, Armstrong faced the most difficult challenge ever when he was diagnosed with advanced testicular cancer and given only a 40% chance of survival. Most people would have been destroyed by news but Lance had a difficult attitude.

Lance said that it was a good thing that it happened to him so young, whilst his body was still strong, as this gave him the strongest chance of defeating this. More importantly, it gave him the quickest chance of defeating it.

We are living in a world that is ruled by speed. We see how every 6 months a new computer comes out that is double the speed of its preceding model. What we must also realize is that this rule also applies to success. The most successful people are simply the quickest ones to act.
As we enter a new week, try and live by Lance Armstrong's example and live fast. By doing this, you could have the most productive week of your life.

On Your Mark - Get Set - GO!
NextGiant.com

Do Not Wait

"Do not wait; the time will never be "just right." Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along."

Napoleon Hill

Procrastination has stolen more dreams from underneath the feet of men and women all over the world than any other single thing.

How many dreams have you allowed to be stolen from you in the past because you’ve procrastinated away the opportunity? If you’re like me, the answer is more than a few, and as long as we keep on procrastinating, opportunities to become the person we know in our hearts we can will keep on passing us by.

Most people who procrastinate erroneously believe that somewhere in one of their‘tomorrows’ will exist the perfect situation to begin working towards achieving their dream, but life is life and the best time to take action is right now, for the longer you put it off, the harder it will always be to get started.

Your dreams are too important to allow them to be stolen from underneath you, no matter what it is that’s holding you back, face it head on and realize that as Alexandra Stoddard noted, "What you do today, right now, will have an accumulative effect on all of your tomorrow’s"

Ask yourself today, ‘What can I do today, right now to push past my desire to procrastinate and instead set in motion a whole new set of causes for my future?’
NextGiant.com
