Pond Mobile is a simple way of buying cellphone access when you are flying internationally. They sell you a new sim for your device at a flat fee. The typical business traveler doesn’t need to get a new phone anymore and can just get down to business with technology they already know.

I created a series of web designs that built off their strong logo and brand. A very simple web experience to show their users how simple their technology is to use.

Corks n’ Crowns – A Santa Barbara Wine Tasting Room and Wine Club

Corks n’ Crowns, a wine tasting room down near the Sterns Wharf in Santa Barbara, asked me to design a new website for them and to build it on WordPress.

If you go into the tasting room you’ll see that there are a lot of dark woods and interesting textures that exude a high level feeling and brand. The wines they select for their wine club every month are well thought out and made sure they mesh well with their clientele. I tried to make the website design reflect that and show off their wonderful wines and beers.

DriExpress – The Disaster Restoration Specialists

I was recently asked to build a brand for the disaster restoration company, DriExpress, from the ground up. The idea was to enhance the image of an already established company but to further show they are leaders in their respective market. They wanted to be thought of as the “UPS” of disaster restoration equipment. That when you called for an industrial grade air mover to a dehumidifier you would get it shipped to you right when you needed it most.

Callagold – More than just a blog.

Earlier this year I created a fresh new blog for Santa Barbara Jeweler Calla Gold. This was only put into place temporarily while her old site was redesigned to go along with the new blog.

While the blog was to introduce the world to Calla’s writings about jewelry and the jewelry industry. The full site is to show off everything else she does with jewelry, notably create it. My biggest goal and design direction was to build the site around the beautiful photography she has taken of every custom piece she creates.

The Business Therapist – Brand, Web and eBook design.

I created a new visual brand, ebook cover design and website design for Paul Foster, aka The Business Therapist. Paul Foster is an award winning business consultant and accountant. He wanted to build a brand and “digital presence” around his business advice and coaching support to small business owners. After talking with Paul on multiple occasions I really came to respect his thoughts on small business, in which I have even taken away some helpful advice for mine.

He wanted something different than what the stereotypical accountant offers. He has a warm and interesting personality and likes to give out 4 leaf clovers to his clients. I developed a few different brand directions for him but everyone easily gravitated to this design since it fit his personality the best.

The website is for Lorrie Thomas’s speaking promotion. Lorrie is a local Santa Barbara web marketer who handles many clients from the small business to the multi-national. She has a unique marketing philosophy and can definitely help your company’s presence on the web.

This was one of the most interesting WordPress installs I’ve done. I upped my WordPress knowledge and PHP programming skills on this site quite a bit. I am very proud of it.

CallaGold – WordPress Blog

Recently I designed and built a WordPress blog for a local Santa Barbara Jeweler, CallaGold Jewelry.

Calla Gold is an actual jewelry artist. She molds precious metals and jewels into something distinct and catered for the wearer. When talking with her you can easily tell she loves the work she does and you can see that in her writing and how she engages her clients. So I built her a custom WordPress blog where she can write about her jewelryand that in the end develops her a strong brand as a custom jewelry craftswoman.

Cannavin – Wine label for “No on T” Fundraiser

Growponics – an iPhone application aesthetic exploration.

Say hello to my first ever iPhone app design. Growponics is a application that helps you with all the things that you have to monitor when you grow gardens hydroponically. This is only an aesthetic exploration while the application is being programmed.
