Of course, living in the other side of the metro, Gracey and I were early at Aimz’s abode. When we arrived, she was still very busy preparing our feast which included penne carbonara, chicken roll, cheese sticks and crema de fruta. While she was busy in the kitchen, the television was playing Beauty and the Beast for the kiddos of her stay-out helper. And as she was cooking, she sang the songs from the movie. That struck me. How would you say “someone who understands some techie stuff” in a term? Remembering my college years, my friend, Teejay, would always tease me to shift courses from Business/IT to purely IT. He says my brain can be put to better use if I take up purely IT. But I was too chicken and the thought of having so many Math subjects scares me. (I did not know I will encounter worse in my Business/IT course as we were given five Accounting subjects!) All I know is that when I was single, I was not like this. Not that I am bragging, but among us siblings, I am probably the most domesticated one. I can run a home and manage it smoothly. Thanks to my active mom, I was trained this way. But when I got married, my being domesticated took the back seat for a while and I am so glad it is slowly creeping to the front seat again now.
