Last week, I followed the crowd to the new launched Paradigm Mall, to discover good foods in the new mall. The Sakae Sushi is attracting my attention as it is just located at the main entrance of the mall. Sakae Sushi is not too new to me, but being heard that they just unveiled its new and improved menu. Being a brand that never shies away from innovation, Sakae Sushi once again wowed fans with an extensive selection of new offerings for 2012. I decided to give it a try.

Sakae Sushi merges the traditional elements and the modern and elegant facets of Japan's dynamic culture and ambience into their new outlet in Paradigm Mall, enables their customer to dine in with better ambience and environment.

The new and infamous Sakae Sushi outlet was full house on Saturday noon, proving the public's favourite and confidence to Sakae Sushi. Luckily the new outlet is big and spacious enough to accommodate the big crowd.

To facilitate a user-friendly dining experience, the order system now have been change from traditional touch screen menu into new iPad interactive menu. While that, the menu is conveniently divided into different sections, diners can take their picks from 21 sumptuous food categories ranging from Sakae's signature sushi, sashimi, appetisers, tempura, rice dishes, udon and soba noodle and more.

Beside the usual green tea drinks, Sakae now had introduced few creative blends beverages like Kyuri Smoothie, Ninjin Smoothie and Kyoto Sunrise Smoothie to accompany your meals.

As for the little ones, they are not left out either with the new Kiddie picks. Oh yeah, I bet this is more than suitable to entertain my little girlfriend?

Kaisen Salad 海鲜沙拉 RM16.90

The meal started by Kaisen Salad, containing tantalisingly fresh servings of prawns, tuna flakes, snow crab leg and assorted vegetables served with creamy goma dressing. I was attracted by its colourful presentation at the first place, further indulged after having it. It is very refreshing and appetizing, the goma dressing is just right, the smell and the taste are not too strong, but sufficient to enhance the flavour.

Soft Shell Crab Maki 辣味软壳蟹卷 RM5.99

I am always delighted by their efforts in making the foods not only edible, but also presentable, it always increase my appetites. Soft Shell Crab Maki is a mouth-watering maki creation of crispy soft shell crab, sweet beancurb, sushi rice and spicy mayonnaise. I like the texture of the combination, the soft rice, chewy beancurb and crispy soft shell crab, all different textures in a maki. Fantastic!

Sakae Blossom 荣之花 RM9.99

To catch the tail of season of spring, Sakae is introducing this Sakae Blossom. Sakae Blossom is an intricately-designed roll of luscious grilled salmon, shrimp roe and mayonnaise on a delightful maki. I definitely fall in love with this dish, for their fresh salmon.

Inari Avocado Ebi 稻禾酪梨虾 RM7.99

The Inari Avocado Ebi is one of their creative innovation too. I truly enjoyed the succulent whole prawn mixed with delicious vegetables and salad dressing, wrapped in sweet beancurd skin. The avocado and fresh prawns contribute the colour of nature to the dish.

Hana Maki 鲑鱼花卷 RM9.99

Hana Maki is not new to Sakae Sushi lover, a popular dish since before! The flower rolls are beautifully crafted by the chef with delicate raw salmon petals and sushi rice centre topped with mayonnaise and a luxurious sprinkle of shrimp roe.

Ebi Crepe 黄金虾卷 RM5.99

Ebi Crepe is a surprise to me too. I am familiar with sweet Mille Crepe, but never tried Ebi Crepe before. Nevertheless, I like the luscious roll consisting of whole cooked prawn with assorted vegetables and mayonnaise wrapped in a light crepe layer.

Kaisen Pirikara Nabe 海鲜泡菜汤 RM24.90

Time for something hot to warm my stomach, Kaisen Pirikara Nabe is the best choice. A delectable hotpot with generous servings of prawns, cuttlefish, salmon, mushroom and assorted vegetables in flavourful kimchi soup. Despite I am not too fancy on Kimchi, but this soup with mild spiciness suit my taste bud well. The flavour from the sea furnishes the soup with some sweetness.

Hotate Mentaiyaki 香烤明太子扇贝 RM20.90

I always prefer scallop rather than oyster, by its refreshing taste. So, the succulent half shell scallops grilled with cod fish roe is put in my list of favourite too! Twist in some lemon juice to make it more nom-nomm.

Curry Udon RM12.90

For udon lovers have the new Curry Udon to savour. I like Japanese Curry because it is always not spicy but with a little bit sweet from the chunks of potatoes and carrots. The thick broth sticks my every single noodles with the flavourful curry, thumb up!

Mochi (Assorted Flavours) RM5.99

Dessert time! Started my sweet journey with Japanese Mochi, filled with red bean paste. I am glad that the filling is not too sweet.

I can't resist myself from taking it from the belt. The bright orangey colour is the main reason, make it so outstanding. The large pieces of peach flesh are a surprise for me! Taste good although it is manufactured by Marigold.

Not long ago, I visited this famous steamboat buffet in Bukit Bintang. This restaurant features on Taiwanese shabu shabu buffet.I tried many Japanese, Si Chuan styled, and even Malaysian steamboat, but I not yet try on Taiwanese shabu shabu, this is a good opportunity for me to explore it!

You can find the any noodles that you like from the noodles bar. You can't imagine how many types of noodles they serve, until you see it! maggie mee, wanton mee, spinach mee and etc..

They serve variety of Taiwanese cooked food too, like curry fish balls and chicken wings. One of the food is old ginger braised duck, we came too late, it was almost finish grabbed by others. so now you know how delicious it is?

Taiwanese minced meat, to serve with white rice or soup noodles. How to do a minced meat noodles?

Don't worry, there are clear instructions on the wall, just follow the steps to make your own soup noodles.

They also provide many types of sauce, and you can also make your own sauce on your preference.

A night after some dews from heaven, the weather was not too cold, but it was just right to have a steamboat to warm up my stomach. This steamboat restaurant located at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara looks attractive by its name. They claimed that their soup for steamboat is boiled for long hours, so the taste is exactly the same as mother's cook. "Bai Nien" means "hundred years", the owner told us that the recipe is inherited from her grandmother's grandmother, which has been passed through around hundred years. Good flavour is never been forgotten, so they decided to run a steamboat business to share the good taste with public.

The Steamboat restaurant is quite away from the landmark Sunway Giza, but good food is worth to find I bet. For your convenient, it is located just opposite the famous Chili Pan Mee.

Clean and neat set up in the restaurant. Bowls, chopsticks and spoons are well arranged on the dining tables to welcome their customers.

Homemade drinks are one of their distinguishing feature. The Pandan Cooler is a very tropical drink, the drink is boiled using pandan leave, and added in mint leaves and basil seeds. I like the light flavour of the Pandan, and the mint leaves made the drink extra refreshing.

The drink behind is home-cooked chrysanthemum drink. It is nice to have a cold chrysanthemum to go along with steamboat, effectively reduce the heat!

Fried Chicken Wing 炸鸡翅膀

Fermented beancurd fried chicken is one of their signature snacks. Well marinated I would say. I know it looks pale, but believe me it is very crispy and flavourful, very appetizing.

Fried Lala Mee Hoon 拉拉炒米粉 RM18 / RM28

The lala fried meehun is quite good too, the main reason is the very fresh lala I bet, the meehoon which is very absorptive, fully absorbed the flavour from the sea.

Fried Dumpling 炸水饺 RM6.50 / RM13

Homemade dumpling is one of their specialties too, deep fried till crispy and the filling is quite excellent too with minced meat and chopped vegetables. Dip into the sweet sauce before eat to make it more delicious.

Hot Dog with Onion 大葱炒香肠 RM8.90

Fried Fish Cake 炸鱼饼 RM4.50

Their special condiments--- Red chilies sauce, black chilies sauce and fried shallots to enhance the aroma of soup. The special black chilies sauce is recommended, it is very common condiment in Johore to eat with steamboat and pisang goreng, made from cili padi and black sweet sauce.

Come with a plate of pork sliced or beef sliced, noodles and egg.

Pork and beef slices cannot be excluded in a good steamboat. Selected high quality and fresh meat slices are used. The rich fat of meat is distributed averagely on the meat, makes the meat tasting soft and chewy.

Left side is the tom yam soup based, right side is their signature hotpot soup. Both are equally good. The tom yam is mild and not too spicy, but indeed opens up the flavours with its sourness. The signature hot pot soup suits my liking too, where I can taste the essence and sweetness from pork bones and pork stomach. Good broth kicks a good start for a good steamboat!

I am quite satisfied with their homemade concept, the very essential point is that the ingredients used are very fresh! The only flaw is that the selection for seafood is too little, as I am a seafood lover, I will be happier if they increase the types of seafood and raw ingredients.

Last weekend, I was here visiting Tokyo Street at Pavilion where are the new place in town. This is my first time visit here and i found here is decor theme in Japanese Style. Bamboo decor and Japanese food. Moreover, there are having more than 30 different restaurant or food chain root at there. I found a vary of Japanese food there, like famous Japanese cake, Bubble Tea, Shabu-Shabu, ramen and etc. But in this post, I will post something food relate photo on latest stall "Karufuru" which are just joining here from middle of Dec 2011.

Tokyo Street is the newest precinct at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, merging the traditional elements and modern facets of Japan's dynamic culture and ambience. The sense of Tokyo will be embodied in the precinct's design and layout, presenting a cutting-edge yet tranquil setting for the best and most popular in Japan's retail offerings. Inspired by the essence Ginza and Shibuya's cityscapes as well as the Imperial history that Japan has to offer, Tokyo Street is a mélange of traditional townscape and modern scenery, arts, culture and food trends. Karafuru is a play of the name colourful in Japanese. This name represents their very colourful tarts! Beside this, they also have mini cakes and truffles for sale. I try to took whole tart photo, but unfortunately their tart is selling fast and most of the tart are cut into pieces. So no choice, I had to proceed photo piece by piece.

Last week, we went for Foodpanda's sharing event, at Comida, Publika, Solaris Dutamas. Foodpanda is a online food delivery in Malaysia, which to be believed as fuss-free, fast and definitely fun. The online food delivery mechanism definitely banishes the pain of cooking and cleaning up. At the same time, we are allowed to enjoy variety cuisine in home or office, fantastic idea isn't it?

Comida is situated at Solaris Dutamas, a place which is quite new to me. Lost my way AGAIN in Solaris Dutamas when looking for Comida! I suggest the management to prepare a more comprehensive and up-to-date directory.

This was my first visit to Comida, an exciting new experience to me. The beverage bar caught my first sight when entering Comida. It is nice to sit along the bar at night I bet to witness how the bar tender plays his patterns in making the drinks.

The other corner of Comida which provides a very different style and atmosphere. I can imagine myself to sit beside the window, holding a good book and enjoy my sunny afternoon there.

Oh ya, back to the topic. I was here for Foodpanda's online food delivery tutorial. Another easy way to enjoy the pizza from Comida is placed your order through foodpanda.my. It take just only few steps before you can enjoy your superb nice hot pizza from Comida delivery services without leaving your keyboard.

And, this is the platform where the whole ordering process will take live in action. The green light on the number means that the process has been confirmed and proceed to following steps.

After we place order through foodpanda.my, call center from the foodpanda will contact the merchant immediately and forward our order to them. Actually, we place our order through foodpanda while we were just seat inside the premise. How interesting it was? hehe

The salmon come with pineapple sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and tossed garden green salad. Mashed potato is replaced and localised by mashed sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes is always the ingredients for kuih muih and desserts, but I found it matches well with western food too, simply love the texture of the homemade mashed sweet potatoes where I can detect some chunks of sweet potatoes.

Grilled Lamb

The grilled lamb is served with Thai lemongrass sauce, meclum salad with their homemade salad dressing come with tapioca chips. Non-lamb-lover always be annoyed by the the greasiness and gamey smell of lamb, I would say this one presented by Belanga Cafe is just all right, the rib part is chosen, so it is not greasy at all, the biting texture is good for me! And don't worry about the gamey smell, it is totally avoided by the overwhelming Thai lemongrass sauce.

Ermmm, did you ever seen Pak Choy appear in a western food? It is a quite surprising me and my friends, an oriental elements to the beef tenderloin.

Overall, I was quite impressed to have such "fine-dining-dish" in a Malay restaurant. Yeah, I didn't expect a Malay restaurant to have such good western foods with good presentation. Belanga Cafe, a Potpourri of Malay Cuisine is all set to thrill its customers this season with new flavours and zing, all under the atmosphere which is modeled towards a typical Malaysian countryside restaurant that boasts a collection of traditional hand-made crafts, and kain songket which reflects a sense of elegance and luxury. Its was located in the friendly neighbourhood of Bandar Utama, this simple and homely restaurant is well known for all things porky. Serving a spread of Western cuisine, Ribs @ Oasis specializes in Pork Ribs, Pork Burgers and Pastas. I get know of this restaurant through one of my friends, where he strongly recommend to take their pork ribs and burgers with beer. When I saw this at here, I have no choices but to choose this as my following meal, and I found out this not disappointing me with the portion they given. Plus, all of this were belong to Yummylicious...

A story start back to my school time. On that time, almost every of my friends were having an account of Friendster. I heard about this Sarawak Noodles stall quite long time ago from my "long lost" friends and he brought me once here for having this not-so original Sarawak laksa. Today, I am so craving for Bak Kut Teh. This is because of seeing those posted Bak Kut Teh pics on last midnight. No choice, I tell myself must hunt it down by today, no wonder how. After rewind of my mind, I get back to this Bak Kut Teh stall at Seapark. This stall is actually side-by-side with the famous Bumbung Nasi Lemak which I always recommend to my friends and myself. No doubt, both of this were awesome too.

One of the day, I was searching food around Kota Damansara area. I was wonder most of major food post was covering the area of Sunway Giza Mall, The Strand, and Dataran Sunway. Why not other area? By that I knowing this place was hidden in the far end of Kota Damansara, Bistari "De" Kota. Besides that, I found this famous rawang Lan Je Steamed Tilapia branch. Then, I straight away head here for this fish.

Read through some article, this restaurant is quite unique. They not allow to reserved seat, but they allow reserved fish to secure your visit are not waste waste saja. And the most impress me, everyone are having their own fish without sharing.My first thought was like really so delicious meh? I can tell you now. The fish is fresh and i superlike it.

Last weekend, I was there for my dinner for a very special occasion with a bunch of friends. On that day, there were something extremely silly case that I got myself lost again without jotting down proper direction into my notes. Sounds bad that night. But luckily, the restaurant was easily to find as it is located at the roadside if you really look into it from the traffic light junction towards Hartamas area.

Mezza9 is an intermediate floor between main floors of a building, and therefore typically not counted among the overall floors of a building. In short, a mezzanine floor and the floor below it share the same ceiling. Beside the unique of the name they have, they also served good Italian, French and Mediterranean Fusion cuisine

The ground floor is non smoking area to make your dining pleasure more comfortable, however smoking is permitted on the mezzanine floor where you can enjoy a smooth glass of wine or a shot of Single Malt whiskys.

They are delighted to bring you a whole new dining experience, concepts and designs out of Europe with Italian, French and Mediterranean Fusion cuisine. It is accompanied with zucchini & asparagus. The grilled method on the salmon is light, hence it allowing the fish to retain its firm, moist texture. Surprisingly, the burnt part of salmon was very good and flavorful come with a little crispy.

The Chef cleverly choose mint as the main marinade to get rid of the lamb smell, and on the other hand, give some natural and refreshing element to the dish. The baked cherry tomato not only serves a portion of vitamin C, but also add a sweetish and sourness tang to enhance the flavour of the lamb rack.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio with King Prawns RM38

A luxurious version of Aglio Olio, with an appealing presentation. The King Prawns definitely look great, but it is even better to put it in my mouth, fresh and provide some flavour from the sea to the spaghetti.

This is just perfect with the fine and high quality Black Angus Rib Eye, the texture of the meat is good, remains moist and juicy. Come together with some stir-fried vegetables, definitely a hearty and satisfying dish!

Profiteroles (2 serving per portion) RM18

It served with vanilla and chocolate ice cream. A very creamy but not monotonous dessert. Every bite of the cream puff taste very mild and I felt satisfied of this dessert.

Chocolate Lava Cake with Orange Cream Anglaise RM15

This is the another dessert which required 11minutes to get prepared after placing order. I guess for those chocolate lover will find this good because I can feel the rich of chocolate and burst immediately inside your mouth.

In a nutshell, Mezza9 definitely a great place to chill along with friends. Besides they have good food in the menu, they do also have wide-range of alcoholic beverage, it will find you very well in place. Time to relax is weekend today!

One day, i been searching around for some new food stall. With the help of Facebook, i get to know about this famous Uncle Cheng Beef Noodles (previous root at Section 17, Khasiat Kopitiam) has been moved to SS2 near Alisan Kopitiam. Previously, its in a small stall in Khasiat Kopitiam but now Uncle Cheng has his own shoplot and opening not long ago. Wow..

They served in southern's style of beef noodles which contains pickled vegetable and peanut. Normally, central style is served in thick gravy without those ingredient i mention just now. If you not sure what is the best to order, you may refer to their staff. They are ready to serve you well. For info, this place is pork free.

The owner told me personally that if your bowl of soup is not enough, you may request for a refill until you satisfy, as they prepare lot of soup to serve.

This bowl of beef noodle was strong recommend by the owner. They glad to have this all mix ingredients as their signature menu. After my taste, I feel like heaven. All the meat is so soft and easy to shallow without chew! Like and re-recommend to you on behalf of the owner.

For small eater, I recommend you to have an order of menu. Its slightly less ingredients but the taste is still remain in MAX level and enough for you to taste their delicious. Great!

Beef Feast!

Again, the owner sudden send me a little pot of lime juice. He told me that if add this in the half way of having this beef noodles and you will taste another flavour in your mouths. After adding this into my noodles, I found its a little bit sour but taste refreshing. Nice!

For those who rushing, you can take away a fresh ice blended or milk tea from the kiosk infront of the outlet. While if you are looking for a place to have a chit chat with friends, GeorgPeck is also providing some tables and chairs, for you to sit down and enjoy a cup of nice tea. Outside food is allowed, so you can buy some street foods and snack nearby to enjoy along with your GeorgPeck beverage.

Fresh Juice Ice Blended Series

Their Fresh Juice Ice Blended series is highly recommended as they are using fresh fruit in making it, they will blend it immediately after you place an order. Therefore, it is much more healthy and without any preservative. I can detect the flesh of fruit inside my drink.

Their coffee is aromatic and pure, definitely worth for the price. There are few choices of coffee, I especially like the mocha ice blended and caramel macchiato, not only attractive from its appearance, but also taste good and can compete with those famous coffee shop out there.

Not long ago when i back to hometown, i decide to have this kind of dine gathering with my secondary friends. Actually, this type LOK LOK is similar to steamboat which can find everywhere. But, those material is string on stick, and bill accordingly on how much stick u had it. Normally, this lok lok is well-known with their sauce which ready on every table, type of sauce : satay sauce, minced onion, BBQ sauce, curry sauce and chili paddy. This stall is famous with their seafood, especially BBQ baby-octopus. Beside this, for those are really hungry, they also have some fried dim sum which can eat immediately after fried it. I personally like it cook with clear soupbase and dip on their special sauce. YUM!

This is my first time step on the floor of 1st Avenue which newly open since Nov 2010. Well, inside this shopping mall all the shoplot is fully occupied. What can said is another new landmark for those shopper to shop. I found there is a lot of new face of restaurant/cafe in this mall. Penang-ian are so lucky to try all the new restaurant. Here today, i am going to show one of the Chinese restaurant, 1st Master Choo Kitchen.

I like the ambiance here and the friendly waiter serves us. Beside the services and ambiance, the food are not bad too. The best seller of restaurant is their Dim Sum. But since is dinner time when i was there, so skip that part first, will return to it on dim sum session. Basically, this restaurant are provide wide range of food from Oriental to Western style. Before construct this post, I do have a question to ask that "Do you think that which Ramen you had before is the best one?" >> Do leave your answer on the comment section for my references. Well now, I going to bring you one of the best ramen I had before. Where is it located? It was located at Publika, Solaris Dutamas.

Yamagoya Ramen , Kyushu style ramen shop. A very family oriented design just like a neighbourhood shop in Japan. It just started their business two weeks ago. When I was there on that night, miracles happen. They actually have a full house all night long. Therefore, I starting curious about how popular on their ramen and how was the taste like being. After the whole session, I get know the answer. Their ramen soup was so so flavorful and their noodles was springy as well. I like it very much and I pretty sure all of you will like it too.

Black Garlic Ramen RM22

The most special ramen that I strongly recommend. I was tempted by the fragrance of garlic, the smell was not too strong, but enough to furnish the broth with some hidden fragrance and garlic's spiciness. It was served with generous pieces of Char Siu, beansprout, wood fungus and some spring onions.

Mukashi Special Ramen RM24

This is the signature Ramen and a must-try for first timer. It was served with bamboo shoots, wood fungus, soy sauce seasoned egg, seaweed and spring onions. As you could see from the picture, the broth is milky and creamy, and such effect will only appear when the broth is boiled for long hours! Can you imagine all the essence of good ingredients are concentrated in a bowl? The taste is heavenly good yet complicated, so do try it out yourself to find out the true flavours of it.

Their Miso Ramen is also the outstanding one, with appropriate spiciness, served with bamboo shoots, beansprouts, wood fungus and char siu!

Char Siu ramen is special made for Japanese Char Siu lover. I fall in love with their specialty Char Siu, which is tender and well marinated. The layer of the meat is interesting, only a thin fat layer in between, so girls out there please take attention, this wouldn't cause you fat lar, don't resist yourself from having a nice char siu ramen.

Crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside. Only chosen and lucky kampung chicken can be used to make this fried chicken. And only certain part of the chicken is used to make this fried chicken perfect. I always request the KFC staff to give me chicken thigh (luckily i never get beaten, lol), because that is the best part! In Yamagoya, I do not need to request for that, because all their fried chicken will only use chicken thigh!

This was the drinks highly recommended from others. Calpis was said to be a Japanese barley drink, but for me it tasted more like a malt drink, no harm to have a try on it, it is special and nice.

At last, their ramen was freshly made at their in-house noodles machine. The ramen do not have such alkaline smell. The noodles was springy like never before.

Today, I get back to my own planner. Wow! I already been here for not short not long period, until today is 4 years. Well, this place where usually i had my quick lunch or dinner here, sometimes breakfast at Pasar Pagi (morning market) at least twice a week. And I love their "Chap Fan' (mixed rice) , from the old one until new chap fan stall owner. Both i also like it. But too bad, this new chap fan stall don't daily soup supply. Haha.. Back to point, Robert's Penang Fried Kueh Teow can be found at this kopitiam.

Sorry for not sharing this nice and delicious fried kueh teow before this. Many of my friends including me are very recommend for this fried kueh teow. Not only the taste, and also the efficient speeding served. Time is money!

I trying to order something large in order to fill my extremely hunger stomach. Well.. everything come fine except the large size. I did not expect that this large fried tong hoon is really huge potion. Normally on some place, it come only tiny portion. This is reason order for a large on.. Wow.. I eat much much on it. Nice..

Fried Kueh Teow (large) RM5.00

Next come on this long waiting and wanted famous fried kueh teow. What can be seen in this picture? is kueh teow, bean sprouts, chives, prawns, lap cheong (Chinese sausage) and egg. Everything mix, fried then become a hot and spicy fried kueh teow. Taste is great and fully recommend here for fried kueh teow.

Of course, there must be something different and secret recipe hidden under the plate. Taste it on your own!

Ikuzo Ramen is the latest restaurant which joining the big family of SS2 residential. Although this area has been mushrooming for all kinds of restaurant or cafe, but Ikuzo is quite outstanding from the other. Most of the Japanese restaurants mark up high prices for ramen, however, Ikuzo thinks that every person deserve a good quality and affordable ramen, therefore, all their ramens' pricing are lower than RM10.90.

Beside this, they also stressed that they make everything themselves using only fresh ingredients and absolutely no MSG added. FYI, this Ikuzo Ramen is a very "Porky" restaurant, where they not only serve the pork on the top of noodles and use pork bone to boil their soup, they even add in pork oil into the ramen soup to keep the soup warm and make it more fragrance.

Soup is made from hours of boiling pork and chicken bones.Ikuzo guarantees a healthy meal and ramen for everyone, so there is no MSG and preservative added, instead, they put in a lot vegetables and apple to enhance the sweetness of the soup.

The interior design of the restaurant is fusion of Japanese and western styles. Normally, we will only see pictures on wall in old western restaurant. The pieces of art on the wall are made or modified by the designer of Ikuzo, and all the paintings are open for sale. So if you are thinking to add some "ikuzo" elements in your house or office, you can purchase it too.

I was quite impressed by their Yuzu ice cream float and rice ice cream float. It is not the ordinary ice cream that we bought outside, it is freshly made by the chef without using any cream. Instead, the Japanese chef replace it with yuzu or rice. The texture of the rice ice cream is special, where you still can feel the rice in my mouth. In the meanwhile, the yuzu ice cream emits some fragrance of Japanese lemon. Since Ikuzo is promoting healthy food, the containing sugar in the ice cream is 40% less than those in the market, no artificial colouring is used, where the light yellow colour of the ice cream is derived naturally from the ingredients itself.

The chef, Shimbo Katsunori demonstrated the process of making ramen. Noodles are made using super nutritious rye flour, which contains high nutritious values, rich in iron, protein, calcium, vitamin Bs and E and it also high in fiber. Rye cereal has a very low Glycemic Index, of only 34. Low-GI diet is associated with reduce risk of obesity.

*If you're wondering "How I know are they really using rye flour or not? *
Look detail into their noodles, then you will find some red dots, that are grind rye flour with its natural reddish.

Rice Ice Cream making process.. Look simple and hard works.

To make sure the customers are not boring with the same type of noodles, there are 4 types of ramen to choose from in 18 different styles of preparations!
(1) Original thin
(2) Spicy thin
(3) Original thick
(4) Spicy thick

Besides, the customers are encouraged to make their ramen soup nicer with the condiments on the tables. Pepper and vinegar are recommended to be added into shoyu-based soup, shicimi powder can be added into your miso soup, and last but not least seafood ramen is recommended to eat with their homemade chili oil, to make it more fragrance and explosive.

Marinated and grilled beef slices with cabbage kimuchi in a shoyu-based soup. I like the grilled beef very much, which is well grilled, the meat is tender and juicy, not rubbery at all. It is perfectly matched with the shoyu soup! I chose the spicy thin noodles for my yakiniku ramen, the moderate spiciness of the noodles is good to enhance my appetite. The thin noodles is very springy, like it!

Cha-Shu Ramen RM8.90

Japanese Cha-Shu which is slightly different from the Chinese Char Siew, it means braised pork belly instead. The thickness of the pork belly is just nice. Cleverly choose pork belly to be braised, provides extra smoothness to the pork. It is served with seaweed and spring onions, this simple yet superb ramen marked the beginning of their ramen revolution.

Curry Ramen RM7.90

This bowl of punch is created by using secret curry spices by comrades from India, served with breaded pork fillet and braised egg.

Zembu Ramen RM10.90

The outlook of Eyuzu with classical Japanese design. Waiter and waitress with traditional Kimono warmly welcoming and ushering the guests at the entrance.

The award-winning Japanese Executive Chef Ricky Hui, has prepared a sumptuous buffet spread for the guest to bring along their family and friends during the weekends as Eyuzu has the Shumatsu Buffet.

Eyuzu catering more than 150 mouth-watering dishes to choose from. With varieties of Japanese gastronomic fare for us to try, we were definitely be spoilt for choice.

Teppanyaki Station with a wide range of fresh seafood. They even provide fresh lobsters which swim lively in the aquarium.

Teppanyaki mixed vegetables where the guests may pick and mix their desired vegetables from the bar freely.

Tempura Bar-- wonder why the tempura is different from the normal one you eat? Yeah, these are the fresh ingredients which are ready to be made as your tempura. The chef will only make it into tempura after you get your choice. Therefore, the guest may enjoy the most crispy and hot tempura!

Yaki Station-- Again, Eyuzu is very emphasizing on the freshness of the foods served, therefore, the Yaki is also baked and prepared lively after you choose for your favourite.

Dessert Bar-- The colourful puddings and cakes are so attractive!

They have three branches which they have very own standalone interior design. StarVillage OUG is designed with recycle materials. This concept is complying with “Go Green” awareness which remind their patrons not to waste natural resources all the time.

StarVillage Kuchai Lama, the latest branch which has funky retro ambience that reflects the 70’s era. Without abandoning their traditional designs, the new outlet adopts some of that design with a little new twist. This outlet has a very museum-like design complete with antiques and olden decors. Tables are placed outside in an al fresco type setting, where you can enjoy their food and catch some fresh air.

Today, I come here to redeem this from here for 2 at RM21.90. Never try never know. So, I make myself here to enjoy their signature dish. Come. Take a closer look on its.

Just an reminder to me, not to forgot visit them.

Last week, I was there with a bunch of friends together had a weekend group outing and stayed a night at newly refurbish Eastin Hotel. This was my first time stay in Eastin Hotel. And, the experience of this stay was really enjoyable and delightful. I never forgot on the extra huge room space and so-comfortable soft bed. Beside that, I had my overnight sweet dream on this comfortable bed. On this post, I going to share few photo of the room during my stay.

At frontdesk, we were greet and warmly welcome by their well-trained receptionist. They were very professional. Every single check-in was done within a couple minutes. Quick and efficient.

After that I immediately holding my key to checkout my room, Eastin Deluxe Room with 74 sqm. Studio room suitable for short or long term business trips. Comfortable for family stay or for a romantic honeymoon. King size bed, separate seating area with 1 double & 2 single seater sofas. Walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom with separate bath & shower. Seating area comes with an attached toilet.

My room was tastefully furnished with warm contemporary tones, cozy lighting, generous walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. A LCD flat screen TV was provided for the latest news, sport and entertainment and broadband internet access to get connected.

A comfortable King-size bed. Beds are topped with cloud-like duvets and pillows.

Large bathroom with separate bath & shower. The big glass window enabled me to bath while enjoying the nice view and Petaling Jaya's scenery.

Not to forget that, I actually had my chance to have my breakfast at the Executive Lounge (level 17). My breakfast start with Petaling Jaya morning scenery and end with a healthy meal too. The executive lounge enables the guest to have a more peaceful and premium environment to enjoy a luxury styled breakfast.

I can spend my whole morning here with a cup of coffee and the cozy sofa.

Since when i addicted surfing on group buying sites? And result find out myself now are seriously stick on those site for my meal. Its is unbelievable, mostly all my post content now are related to group buying meal. I need get myself out from this trend and write more on proper food post.. Haha..Try my best.. Today, I found one of this at here. I can get my meal at the price only at RM6.80. How do you think of the price to have your lunch or dinner with 2-courses?

Dont worry about the parking lot. They do have ample of parking at their basement parking lot and is totally FREE.

The food was delicious but honestly on my own opinion is the price after coupon is still expensive for this two course meals. Using the same price paid, I can get a better one at other nearby restaurant.Maybe next time, I should do more research before proceed to buy another deal. But no doubt of it, this restaurant is specialist on their Dim Sum and Steamboat, the cooked food was not the choices. Probably I only will back to try their dim sum and steamboat, because my neighboring tables were order on that and is look good well.
