1) Body of Proof is actually pretty good! If you like those solving-crime-with-(bad)-SCIENCE shows, go watch it.

2) I wonder what the popularity ranking of all of the Voyager ships is. It's really hard to tell, as the fandom was pre-FF.Net and pre-LJ, so lots of the old archive sites have croaked by now. Also, I'm really only interested in J/7, so, yeah, my knowledge is really quite patchy.

3) Is anyone else surprised that the J/7 ship is still kickin' about? I kinda really love Star Trek, guys. So much staying power.

And, yeah, that's exactly how my life has been for the past week. Like five minutes after I heard about Lis Sladen my mom walked into my room. And then every time I was reading/watching anything that made me cry again, my mom walked in. SHE HAS HORRIBLE TIMING.

1) Yes, the older man/younger woman thing is why Nine/Rose is still my favourite New Who ship. I love watching the Doctor/River interactions a lot more, though. So much over the top flirting, omg.

I am already dreading (anticipating) the future wank in which people who were brought up in fandom thinking that hurt/comfort and healing cock are the same thing fight the people who know that they're not and hate healing cock.

Yeah, I know that you're thinkin' I'm crazy, but I'm not, really! I've seen stupider things happen, especially with acronyms, and this just seems inevitable, especially since healing cock and h/c go hand in hand.

And, cuz I know at least one person reading this has no idea what a healing cock is, there is this terrible, awful cliche in badfic where sex cures psychological or physical problems, anywhere from cancer to 'getting over' being raped. Hence, healing cock.

My internet exploded with whaaaat???s when the title of Neil Gaiman's episode was revealed. 'twas awesome. And exciting! I suspect that we're being trolled again, a la the Doctor's Daughter and The Next Doctor, but like I give a fuck? It's EXCITING.

I also finally got around to watching the series six prequel and ahhhhh I am terrified. Why are kids so scary? Whyyy?

Yes, Azula. My, uh, 'interest' in her shouldn't be that much of a surprise. And, yes, the fourteen year old part skeeves me out a hell of a lot more than the sociopath part.

And I swear to god I thought she was at least sixteen - that is not the voice of a fourteen year old.

Also, it bares mentioning that I'm simultaneously horrified by her. This cap quite excellently highlights one of the reasons....

As for the my leather fetish... um, yeah, those were just the first few examples I thought of in less than a minute - I can name of so many more examples of characters in leather. I also ran out of space and had to rewrite it so that Amanda Tapping fit in. I mean, it's Amanda Tapping. In leather. Oodles and oodles of leather in Sanctuary and Sam Carter in the biker leathers? Dammmmn, I'll be in my bunk!

(Of course, the Hellbent For Leather page is supposed to be for overtly leather fetish-y leather, but all leather - especially leather jackets - does it for me. And, hey, if Nine's jacket counts....)

Pinocchio is next cuz Fantasia is completely unwatchable. I don't remember much from my childhood, but I do remember hating everything about Fantasia. And that it is unbelievably boring. And then they remade it.

God knows how I'm going to react when Prentiss leaves - as much as I love JJ, Prentiss and Rossi are my absolute favourites. It will not be pretty.

BSG will still be the ultimate tear inducing show, though. My god I cried constantly through that series. And the OST! God I love Bear McCreary and that soundtrack but fuuuuuck just listening to it will cause me to get all teary. "So Much Life" is only one of the sniffle-y Nikki songs.

Trufax: I didn't have to exagerate my hair's depressingness - it really is all non fluffy and happy today.

...Integra is still pretty awesome, bad translations and all. Perhaps I should go to the library and reactivate my card so that I can borrow Hellsing from them. But that would defeat the purpose of reading it on my iPod. It is an iPod guys and I am reading comics on it! This is marvellous!

Also, apparently the library (province) has volumes 1-3 and 6-10. Useful.

What? I'd rather not drag my iPod along the floor behind me - due to the telephone cord nature of my headphones, the path of least resistance is to yank the iPod to the end of the docking cable length and then stretch out the curlies.

And now I'm tempted to make a DNA joke here. But I will refrain.

Anyhow, I have decided that I am always going to draw my hair exactly as it looks the day that I draw a strip. So, yes, I really do have two hair spikes like that sticking up. No gel. I just have badass anime hair that way.
