Sony Playstation has just announced that they will provide the NFL Sunday Ticket on the Playstation Network for streaming through the internet. For a mere $350 ($84.99/mo x 4) Playstation owners can download an app and watch with all the features available to the TV customers. However, Sunday Ticket To-Go is not offered with this, so if you want to watch on your computer or mobile device, you will need to be a DirecTV customer. This is only available to US customers.

DJ Girl Talk takes Rolling Stone Magazine on a tour of his computer. Although we don’t get to see all the porn he has stashed away on it, he does show us how he goes about mixing all that music. Greg Gillis, a.k.a. Girl Talk, explains how he mixes the samples and all the prep work that is involved in getting ready for a show. It’s very interesting to see how complex the actual sampling can get. For those who love Girl Talk, I highly recommend viewing this video.

This report tracks the performance of top creative shops from across the country at the most prominent local and global award shows. Since the inception of the report almost 20 years ago, DDB has been at the top of the heap 11 out of 19 times. Scooping up hardware in 11 out of the 15 shows in 2010, DDB’s haul includes a Silver Lion at Cannes, Best in Integrated and Gold in Digital at the CMAs, two Golds at the ADCC Awards, and the list goes on. With an impressive 97 awards under its belt this year, the agency received accolades for its long list of stand-out campaigns including Unilever Knorr Sidekicks’ “Salty” campaign, Canadian Cancer Society’s passionate “Join the Fight,” Canadian Tourism Commission’s “Locals Know” and Subaru’s “Get out More.”

After much debate, decided to head west and spend some quality time in Alberta’s west, Banff, Canmore and Kananaskis. Taking my golf clubs with me, I decided to make this a golf trip I will never forget. I have always dreamed of playing Banff Springs, and finally my dream came true.

Below are photo sets and explanations of what they are about. Just to ‘fore’ warn, most of them are golf related.

Banff Spring Golf Course
The Banff Springs Golf Course (Stanley Thompson Course) is truly one of golf’s great gems. Voted #5 by Golf Digest as North America’s 75 Best Golf Resorts this beauty is woven through the mountain forests at the base of Banff, Alberta. Never in my life have I seen such beauty (Kaplua Bay in Maui is distant 2nd) and such great golf merged together. The sound of elk in the background, the warnings of bears in the trees make it an experience you can’t beat anywhere else. I treated this course with respect and it treated me well back. With stunning views at every hole and the Bow River rushing along side, I played some of my best golf. However, I learned quickly that things change fast int eh mountains and was beat around on the back nine with strong winds. As you can see from the pictures and videos, its hard to concentrate on golf alone, but one thing was clear. This is what heaven looks like. There is a reason it is ranked 52nd of all the courses outside the US.

What an amazing feeling being to high up. Felt like I was on top of the world. While up there, a quick storm began to brew which made for some wonderful photos and an opportunity to shoot a double rainbow. A Double Rainbow!!

Kananaskis Country Golf Course
A superb course built on the Kananaskis Country Provincial Park. There are two courses carved out along side the Mt. Kidd and Mt. Lorette mountains. At over 10,000ft (3,000m) above sea-level the scenery phenominal. The crystal blue Kananaskis River winds through most of the course, adding a wonderful soundtrack to my round. I was lucky enough to play with a few gents from the Toronto area as well. Overall I would give this course 4 out of 5. The only negative feature was the sand traps. The sand was so thick, almost impossible to get it out. I will definitely be playing this course again.

Canmore & Spray Lakes
This was my home base. While in Canmore, I took a drive up to Spray Lakes, a park that is up in the mountains. Although there isn’t much to do there besides fishing, camping and swimming, many of the views were phenomenal. The views were spectacular. Great little road trip.

Brewster’s Kananaskis Ranch Golf Course
This course was a good warm up. Super tight fairways and shorter holes made this course much more difficult than expected. Although the course was much cheaper than the other courses I played, I probably lost the difference in golf balls. If I remember correctly, between the 4 of us, we lost about 48 balls total.

According to CBC News, J. Crew has confirmed that it is coming to Canada. They plan to open their first store somewhere in Toronto in 2011. Although no location has been determined yet, I can almost guarantee it will be at the Eaton Centre or Yorkdale Mall. Most likely the later.

Canadians have been able to order from jcrew.com for sometime now without ever being able to see the products in person before ordering. Having a brick and mortar location should make online shopping a bit nicer now.
