New Old Song/EP

Here is a song we wrote and recorded during the early Kick Rocks recording sessions. It's called "L-A-N-D". Some may remember it, as we've been playing it live since 2010. We always loved the song but couldn't figure a place to fit it on the album as the album took form. Our plan is to put a few songs from those early Kick Rocks sessions out over the next few weeks and call it The Basement EP. A Bandcamp page is already up (as you can see below), and we'll being adding more songs over the next few weeks. Also expect a brand new single in early 2013. That is all...for now.

Greetings! We wish to invite our fans to feel free to head downtown tonight at 6pm. The Division 9 Art Gallery is putting on a fashion show out on the corner of University and Lemon in Riverside, and Ninja Party will be performing.

DJs spin @6:30, Fashion Show @7:30, Ninja Party @8:30...

We recommend that you come see us now! The event is all ages and, of course, free.

This will be the last chance to come see us, for a while at least, as we will be lurking in the shadows, conspiring to write our next masterpiece (only kidding...somewhat).

Ladies and Gents, it is now June, and we've completed our recent run of local shows for the time being. Throughout the past few months we've been tinkering with a few new cover songs to sprinkle throughout our live shows. Here we take on Tom Petty's "Don't Come Around Here No More", filmed May 12, 2012 at the Riverside Prom: Promageddon! Many cheers to Dave Warner and the Riverside Prom Committee for continuing to put together such a spectacular event every year. Keep 'em coming!

Later in the month, Ninja Party will also be participating in Riverside's Saturation Fest(May 25-May27), another local event we look forward to every year! Ninja Party will be performing at 10pm Friday, May 25, at Worthington's Tavern followed by a DJ sets from The Flux Continuum and The Tramps (featuring our own, James Poore Jr). It's fixin' to be a good time, so come out and join the party!

Ninja Party dubbed "Best of IE"

It came to our attention recently that we've been voted the "Best Electronic Act" in the Inland Empire according to the latest issue of the IE Weekly (the annual "Best of IE" issue). This caught us totally by surprise (I literally didn't find out until I read it myself by chance) as we've been flying under the radar to finish our new record, but it's an honor to be recognized. We thank everyone who made this possible...and keep listening!

"Kick Rocks" Delayed 4 More Weeks

Due to reasons such as illness, work, scheduling conflicts, etc. (you get the point), Kick Rocks official release will be slightly delayed until, presumably, October 25, 2011. Until then, we have 6 of the 8 songs listed up and available immediately when you pre-order the entire album for as low as $0.50!

We're getting closer to the release of our sophomore LP, Kick Rocks (9/27/11). This past Thursday, we uploaded the album version of "Don't Walk Away", and, if you noticed, made the four tracks we've released thus far immediately available with purchase of an album pre-order. Originally scheduled for pre-order on 7/31/11, we jumped the gun, so now, for a limited time only, fans will be able to purchase the entire record in advance for just $3.49! Upon purchase, you will immediately download the 4 tracks we've released, and on the day the record is released in it's entirety, you will receive an email giving you access to download the remainder of the album, which you've already purchased. So come on and jump on it!

It's been a while.

We haven't been doing so great with updating our blog, and for this we apologize. It seems there is so much to keep up with, and honestly, if we believed people were actually paying attention, we'd pay more attention. Regardless, here's the scoop:

We're in the midst of putting the final touches on Kick Rocks(due now in September). A tentative track listing has been released, along with the 2nd single "Still We Dance Together" (See below).

You may notice a difference in the track listing; that certain songs we've previously released attached to Kick Rocks are not making the final cut. Songs such as "L-A-N-D", a favorite amongst fans, just didn't make the final cut. Not because we didn't like it, but because we weren't sure it fit the direction we found ourselves going in the end. Same goes for "Counting Backwards (Green Eyes)". It will remain solely on the previous EP, unlike previously announced. Never fear, however, we will likely be releasing all the material sometime next year, as well as a few possible remixes of songs off of both our LPs, but that is nothing more than talk at this point.

As you may already know, Ninja Party is working on a new album, Kick Rocks (expected delivery, Summer 2011), and will be previewing bits and pieces as we move along (all the more reason to subscribe to our new blog, yeah?).

Last week, some new material did squeak out in the form of a digital EP, containing 2 tracks that will be included on Kick Rocks; "Counting Backwards (Green Eyes)" and a stripped down version of "Don't Walk Away". Both songs are now available for purchase today for only $1.00 USD on our bandcamp page.

We will keep you updated on all new music and it's availability as soon and often as we can.
