Yesterday, for the 1st time I have join Nismoclub TT@Bukit Dukung (20 Dec 2009). Its unbelievable because many of the club members come and join the TT even though the rain comes down. This is also the 1st time TT that I have arranged and its successful. Thanks to all members to come and share the knowledge. Guys! I'm very appropriate that. Planning to convert my car engine to SR20VE engine

Hi,

My default engine was GA16DE cannot go anymore. Oil leaking is everywhere. So, I'm planning to swap my engine with SR20VE from halfcut. I will post my car pictures if the project is done. Below is the details for SR20VE.

Nissan SR20VE engine

Displacement 2.0L Power: 187 hp (139 kW)

Torque: 145 lb·ft (197 N·m)

Production: 1997-2001

Vehicle: Nissan Primera, Nissan Bluebird, Nissan Wingroad

New engine mounting for my B14

Picture above: My mechanic Ah Seng on his work to change the engine mounting.

Yesterday(29/3/2008 - 6.00pm) I decide to change my engine mounting. I have go to car part shop at Serdang, Selangor to buy left and right mounting engine. Cost all at RM120. The salesman at sparepart shop recommend me to go the workshop at shell petrol pump, Serdang. Then, I disappointed with his labor charge. They charge me RM70. Very expensive to me. I just pick up my handphone and contact Ah Seng and ask him how much labor charge he want for changing engine mounting. He just charge me only RM40. For not wasting a time, I just pay the mounting and go to Ah Seng workshop. The process to change this mounting is about one hour. Now my car more smooth to drive and less vibrating on steering. Thanks to Ah Seng with his good job.

The story begin when I was come to Five Auto Sdn.Bhd at Bangi, Selangor. I and my friend "Matdin" need to look at Subaru Impreza. He very desperate to own his Subaru. Even I'm a Nissan Fan, I still respect the Subaru car. Its one of reliable and faster car. Ok...lets continue my story.

While my friend look at his Subaru, I and other salesman look at Nissan Fairlady 350Z. I was told by the salesman about this car. He told me this car is imported from Japan and it is 3500cc. I impress and figure out how much I will pay the roadtax if I bought this car. The salesman said "In Malaysia, around RM4000 for the roadtax". Crazy I said. I can't effort the road tax every year. Maybe Skyline better for me in the future.

This is some infos that I got from internet about this car.
"In the 2003 model year, Nissan reentered the US sports-car market with the 350Z, powered by a 3.5 L V6, and styled in an attempt to create a more modern interpretation of the 240Z's lines. It had a new 6-speed manual gearbox, and is capable of over 155 mph (249 km/h)"

Subaru WRX STI version 8 test drive by me

Hi, I have tested drive the Subaru Impreza version 8 today (28 Feb 2008, 12.00pm). For your info, this is the first time i drove this cool super car. I just test it on highway between Kajang to Semenyih. Believe it or not, this car take only 4 second to 100km/h. You must not believe me if i told you guy, the km/h meter show me 140km/h but i still on third gear. Crazy!. It quite bumpy, and I know all the sport car are like that (trademark la...). This is trademark for sport car. The cornering is perfect that I have confident and easy to drive 140km/h to take corner on highway (not the sharp corner la...susur je). All the best for my friend that he always say dream it for 4 years ago. But now, he realize his dream to be true.

My review is, if you are need performance for sport car, i suggest to buy this car...but if you need comfort, performance, and need to bring family; I think go to luxury car such as Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and etc. If i have a money 200k in my hand I will buy this "beast" one and one car to bring my family go to holiday. ^_^

I just put maintenance history for my car here. This is for record and will bring me info how many I have spent the money for my car maintenance and accessories. All maintenance process are depend on my budget...actually small budget. :-)

One month after buy the car (year 2006)
Change fuel filter. Cost: RM24
Change engine oil and filter. Cost: RM32 + RM8(local made filter) = RM40
Change spark plug. Cost: RM45 (NGK Platinum)

6 month (year 2006)
Tinted. Cost: RM250 (Blue Silver Color)
Reverse sensor with LCD Indicator from kedai abang. Cost: RM230
Change the spoiled default battery (Liquid base). Cost: RM168
6" Sony 2 way speaker (rear). Cost: RM100

1 and half years (year 2007)
Change spoil alternator. Cost: RM200
6" Mohawk Component speaker (front). Cost: RM200 including installation labor.

Almost two years (year 2007) - until 12/11/2007
Change the battery. Cost: RM150
Change the disc brake and brake pad. Cost: RM293
Add Volt Stabilizer. Cost: RM200

My friend's new car : HONDA CIVIC ES 1.7 (A) VTEC

A few days ago I have met my old friend Pecai (Not a real name). He's still work at government agencies but today he is a permanent staff. More stable haaa.... Picture above is his new car. "Waa...new car!" ask me. He said "Ala...just a second hand car, honda cup apa la sangat....hehehehe". He bought the car at Klang, Selangor at price around RM70k and the year of car is 2004. Good condition and standard at all.

I just ask him about the car. He say the car is ok, but before hari raya his car need to change a timing belt and the cost around RM600 and after Hari Raya the car got compressor problem. He change a new one and cost about RM600++. Actually this is a good car... no comment for me... :-)

New sport rim after 2 years

Before change the sport rim. 14" normal rim (rim besi!)

After change the sport rim. 15" sport rim brand from titan racing (Malaysian made. Belilah barangan buatan Malaysia). Color is white (look like pearl white).

I have bought the sport rim at Kelang, Selangor with my friend (Din). He know the shop who sale the cheap sport rim and tyre. I forgot the name of shop but still remember the location. The location is beside the Masjid, Jalan Kapar, Kelang. The two pcs brand new tyre (Silverstone) , I just put in front and the second hand at behind (still good and still "ada bunga'). The price of the brand new tyre is around RM145 and the sport rim????? You know la.....

p/s: Din, thanks for guide to this shop. Happy with the new sport rim.

My first Nissan - Nissan Sentra 1.6 (1997)

This is my first Nissan. This picture had been taken at Lebuh Silikon, UPM and its just two month after bought at Seri Kembangan used car. All specs are in good condition and no modification at all. The old owner is Nyonya from Johor Bharu. I still remember when I bought it - 21 January 2005.

Just see the rim with a full cap. Like 'orang tua' right?

No sport rim with 14" Bridgestone tyre
No tinted

My plan is to change the appearance step by step depend on my budget.
