The Inspired Eye is the latest book of David duChemin who is a world & humanitarian photographer, best-selling author, and international workshop leader.

The Inspired Eye is contains Notes on Creativity for Photographers. For starters, with the exception of the cover, all the images are black and white, and presented much smaller. It’s a much different look. For another, there isn’t a lick of how-to in this book. Not even a creative exercise posing as a how-to. It’s discussion about the creative process, quotes from creative luminaries like Picasso and Frank Lloyd Wright, and a handful of my images.

It’s a 28 pages downlodable in PDF and $5 only

You can find the e-book from here

Marco Polo: A Photographer’s Journey prepared by Michael Yamashita who is a famous National Geographic photographer since 1979.

The book is bringing to life Marco Polo’s 13th-century legendary expedition from Italy to China and his homeward sea journey via Sumatra and India. During a three-year assignment for National Geographic Michael Yamashita, has followed in Marco Polo’s footsteps capturing spectacular images throughout two continents, from Venice to the famous Marco Polo Bridge near Beijing.

This beautifully illustrated book is a sort of visual journey that, thanks to the evocative texts by the historian Gianni Guadalupi and a selection of maps, recreates the incredible experiences of Marco Polo, who crossed the deserts of Asia and ventured into distant Cathay.

He has received numerous professional awards, including the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) Pictures of the Year Competition, New York Art Director’s Club; Asian-American Journalists Association (AAJA); and the Pacific Area Travel Association (PATA).
