SKE48 in Gakkou no Kaidan - Episode Links

so as most of you should know, some members of SKE48 are in this on going mobile horror drama Gakkou no Kaidan. Unfortunately since its a mobile drama, we'd have to wait for people who are kind enough to share the episodes by taking a video of their cellphones. Its crap quality I know, but its better than nothing. I really hope they release a DVD later though.

the first episode was released on BeeTV's official channel while the others so far has been uploaded by fans online. I'll try to link the episodes and update this post as soon as I spot them.

SKE48's 2D Club to release first official photobook

SKE48's 2D Club, (Nijigen Doukoukai) consists of members of SKE48 that are in to manga, anime, games and the likes. At first it was just one of SKE48's unofficial clubs within the teams led by Yuimin (Matsushita Yui) from Team S. But soon it became widely known after it got featured in web shows, magazines and several events.

They mostly had anime cosplay pictorials which were released online, but this time they're off to release an official photobook on April 20.

my late first look at Nogizaka's curtains

i've been in the fandom for a while and in my case there's thing that's been going on. Its like, I always end up liking every major 48 related group's (excluding units) first single. For some reason its always been like that.

But is it also true for Nogizaka? I was really excited to find out.

I've seen some of the girls but I'm still bad with their names, so I really don't know jack shit about this group yet and would only judge from what I hear from this song.

oh my god, I never thought I'd hear something fresh like this. Its slow, refreshing and I can somewhat feel the innocence. Costumes are looking good and the dance routine/formations has a special flavor. The song is just easy going, its like it doesn't aim to impress but just there to deliver a theme. One way to put it, its like a stage song. Really nicely done.

so yeah, seems the first single bit is still true for me after all.

AKB0048 anime with big guns but hmm...

so I just recently rolled with the hype again and now that it has an official site more info about this has been revealed.

like the seiyuus for the main members of AKB that's gonna be in the series. I also watch anime so I have a few favorite seiyuus from different titles. I was surprised to find out that one of them is gonna be on this thing.

the one who's gonna voice Acchan, is the one who voiced Iwasawa from Angel Beats! (Miyuki Sawashiro) I loved Angel Beats! to pieces and Iwasawa was one of my favorite characters. I totally remember how she sounds like but I'm not really sure if it would fit Acchan.

its hard to look for a good cut but here's how she sounds like (take note she's the red head and her singing voice was done by someone else)

I'm giving it a chance though, its not like seiyuus sound the same on all titles they work on anyway. She might sound different for her character this time around.

also I'm kinda worried about how the character designs would come out in the animation. I was thrilled when I found out that the designer was the one who worked on Macross Frontier, a title that I love as well. But seeing more images from the official site is kinda putting me off. I kinda like the designs from the AKB49 manga more, but that's just me and I have to reserve my comments when a true trailer/PV for the anime comes out.

don't get me wrong, I still have high hopes for this since so much big names are behind it, so let's wait and see!

48 Video Diary#6 - Ono Haruka Graduation Announcement

still shocked about this, and I'm never ready for such news. :(

seems she's been thinking about graduating for a year now and has been talking to the staff about it. They've kept on telling her that its still too early for her to do this, (and i think so too, considering its only been a while since AKS started handling SKE48 which opens up a lot of opportunities, especially the main team) but its unfortunate that she has reached to this decision. She says she still not sure what she's gonna do after graduating, but she thought about studying singing.

She's gonna graduate at the end of this month, (March) which for me, seems so damn fast, especially since she's one of my favorite members from my favorite team. I knew it would come to this one way or another since the group has been there for a while, and the main team members are getting old. But to someone who doesn't even look her age and the symbol of "fresh" in the group, this is totally unexpected.

and just it me, that at this rate, Team S will now lose 2/3 of their best singers. :\

former 48 members to join an idol cafe

former SKE48 Team S member, Yamashita Moe and Matsushita Yui (Yuimin) and former AKB48 Team K member Naruse Risa (Naruru) has been signed up to Verus Entertainment.

my knowledge about this is still a bit sketchy but so far...

Moe has a blog and a twitter now. And its been announced that her and Yuimin would be part of an idol cafe in Nagoya called A.icafe

on a recent blog post you see Moe wearing their uniform (damn she looks so hot!), the opening of the cafe is today!

this song was an instant hit when I first watched KII3 so I definitely had to learn this song so I could jam to it. A lot of people praised Airin's vocals here, which is just natural since she's one of the best singers in KII. Some didn't like Ogiso's performance (hoarse vocals?) though. I thought it was decent enough.

but you know what's inexcusable? whoever decided to make this song as short as it is now needs to die! (not you Aki-P, you know i love you forever) The song takes off so nicely then for some reason goes to the bridge like too soon. It doesn't even have an instrumental part. Oh well, i still love the song.

49. Pinocchio Gun - SKE's fun anthem, I've always thought this was a crowd favorite, should be slightly higher.

46. Tsuyokimono yo - 2nd best single for me, though I understand its popularity is already going down because of time. Its still SKE48's most edgy single to date.

47. Seifuku no Me - when short low quality radio previews of S3 came out, this was one of the songs that completely took my attention. It was really single material and so deserving to be a Team S Stage title song. Its sad to see it on this rank. One of SKE's/Team S's best group songs, the best stage title song, crazy and fun choreography. Why so low. :\

35. Ame no Pianist - with Moe and just recenty, Yui's departure from Team S, this song has relatively weakened. So I'm not surprised it went down this far. Though I have to admit, I love seeing Yukko and Mikotii wear this costume! *_*

29. Te wo Tsunaginagara - this was not an instant hit for me, but it became a favorite when the first SKE S2 LOD's came out. Being SKE's first title song on their original stage, this song holds a special place in my heart. The lyrics are kinda touching too. A very special song for Team S. I hope this song never leaves the setlist.

25. TWO ROSES - definitely a serious crime! one of my best played SKE songs only ranked in the middle. Definitely would've wanted to see this song on the Top 10.

22. Shoujo wa manatsu ni nani wo suru? - best undergirl song in my books so I'm definitely glad to see this here. Yukko shines bright on this one.

21. Kodoku na Ballerina - glad to know that this song has already made the concert stage, so excited to see how this would look with Shawako and KII rocking it.

17. Wimbledon ni Tsurete itte - 2nd year for the setlist concert and its also my 2nd year to rant on why Tsukina hasn't returned to perform this song. What's even upsetting is the fact that Tsukina has already been performing this song with her new idol group in Stardust. I'm not saying its bad, its just not the same. :\

16. Tenshi no Shippo - if Wimbledon stays in the setlist, then this should too. I think this song would stay strong even for next year's setlist since Kanon is keeping it fresh.

14. Cross - Now this was sort of a shocker. With Churi getting a lot of push, left and right because of her good rank in AKB48's recent senbatsu elections, I expected her unit to be the highest ranking one from KII3. This song rocks though, so would love too see how it was performed on the concert stage.

13. Manazashi Sayonara - nice to see this here, my favorite KII3 unit song. I thought this song would turn out weak because of its flaws like, its too short, Ogiso's weak vocals n' such. But even with that, I still love this song, can't wait to see this.

11. Mangekyou - I thought this song would lose its popularity with Yuimin's graduation. But come to think of it, its still fresh so its not surprising. One of my most loved S3 songs, glad this one made it.

10. 1! 2! 3! 4! Yoroshiku! - not enough for me, should've been higher since its the best SKE48 single for me. Its always fun to watch, hear and all that. Oh well, at least I know it would stay in the setlist for a long time.

7. Okami to pride - Originally done by Sayuki and Kumi but I have to admit, with Yuria taking that place Sayuki left, this song went to even greater heights. Its not surprising that this is a crowd favorite. (obviously because of Team Baka lol)

6. Finland Miracle - shocker #2! I didn't expect it to be higher than Cross. This sorta proves that even Churi is getting a lot support from AKB fans, Manatsu still has a huge following from SKE fans. But then again it must have been another crazy fan who voted a bazzilion times for this song, lol I dunno. Love the song though, its addicting. Especially the overlapping Finland Miracle part. And oh, this is a victory for Finland too lol! XD

5. Omoide ijou - I've always thought this is Jurina's answer to Rena's Ame no Pianist. But since Pianist is already weak, and this song stays strong with Yukko, its not surprising this one is rocking on this rank.

2. Omatase Setlist - for me, this song, this moment right here is the one that I really want to see. Its obvious that its so special. I mean its a song about KII3's dream of getting a new stage. Hell its not just their dream, as the song goes, its everyone's dream. A relatively new song getting #2 this soon is quite a feat. I guess Aki-P's plan of making drama and fun about the group and the fans waiting for the new stage worked. XD

1. Kareha no station - when I first read about this, I was kinda like, O~K. I mean it was ok and special the first time, (last year's setlist concert when she said it was also her first time to be #1 on something and Aki-P giving a trophy) but now, I dunno. But that's just me now you know, I haven't seen the real thing yet and didn't read much about the event, so yeah. But Congratulations to Rena! You know I love you my Queen! :D

one final thing though. With Rena's solo song getting #1 again on this year's setlist, I'm sensing that people are going all Rena > SKE48 again. Well for me, it can't be denied that she's really popular in AKB and in SKE and like she's everywhere taking all the screen time and all that. But as I've said before, the good thing about being a fan now than before is that even you're favorite is not that popular, there are already stuff that you can check out which has your favorites, like LOD's, online shows, etc. Though I can't say its enough, its better than nothing.

My naming sense sucks, I know.

I realize how much you all have missed me and my posts. Honestly, I've been very busy lately, and before I knew it, HOLY HELL ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS DDDD:

So, I will make that up to you this very moment, here and NOW by bringing to your attention not one, not TWO, not THREE, but FOUR, yes FOUR members of NMB48!!

One is popular, one is a hentai, one is relatively unknown (as of this writing), and the last is being pushed by management. I'm sure the more knowledgeable of our readers can guess at least two of these, for the rest of you, get comfortable. We're going on a ride. Yippie ki-yay, motherfuckers! (I swear a lot in real life, and it carries over to my posts. Deal with it.)

First up!

Nana Yamada~!

Ah, yes. Nana. Or Baba. Or Nana-tan, as she refers to herself. Also, you may notice that she has a really high pitched voice. Not helium-addict high like Rina Shinkais, but still pretty up there.

*I tend to disregard the girl's nicknames and only learn them by their real/stage names. Just a disclaimer before I get too far into this. If you're really that interested to learn their nicknames, please check out their wiki. It lists all of the 1st gen's.

So, more about Nana! Well, first off she was part of Hello! Project's SI*NA from 2005-2009. She graduated on July 25, 2009 'to continue studies' and then joined up with the NMB train in 2010. Her younger brother is a member of Johnny's Entertainment.

Anyway, Nana is one of the shortest members in NMB, which is saying a lot because the whole group is freaking tiny. She is also the oldest, which is... Well not really that bad. She's only 19 before any of you start thinking she's middle twenties. Other members tease her about this fact by the way, oh and she has graduated. As for further studies? Well, I dunno. She is apparently in charge of... Sexiness... ? Eh? Hm... This would explain why she was the one who had to do the sexy pose practice in Doking... Interesting.

It should also be noted that she is the LEAD MC for their weekly news segment on Ohayo Asahi Desu. She is literally in every episode, with the other two members rotating out. I would recommend this show to everyone, not for the information it presents on the girls, but for the laughs. Watching them donning full firefighting gear and running exercises, or seeing them join the SDF (Self-Defense Force) is just a bucket of laughs.

Nana is also known as the least fashionable of the group, just for her preference of jeans and t-shirt combinations. Personally, I find that appealing myself. Some of those crazy Japanese fashions are just... out there.

Personal interests... Hm.... Well, apparently she was a member of the volleyball club, and plays very well. Check out Docking48 ep 16 for the visual proof. IMO, she's not half-bad. I say this from personal experience. Three sisters and a mother all played through high school, into college and still continue to coach high school to this day.

Other interests are; Sports! She really likes sports. Volleyball, as I've mentioned earlier, is her number one. Her number two, I couldn't make out what the hell she was saying for the life of me, so here's the video link. Number three was soccer. She doesn't know any of the rules and just likes watching... :\

Personal opinion; I think she's adorable, in a dorky way. She is awesome at the variety shows, although she's a bit of a coward towards the more outgoing things, yet she still does them. I also feel she is an excellent performer. Her dancing is spot on, the singing (as far as I can tell) is good too.

Behold, the face of your DOOM.

Mother of God, I don't even know where to start with this girl.

A few quick facts, while I try to work out how I want to portray her:

She is 14 years old. DOB: 02/06/1997

From Hyogo Prefecture.

151cm tall, still one of the shortest members.

Hobbies: Drawing, Cosplay, Anime.

She is good friends with Koyanagi Arisa.

Okay, so one of these facts should have stood out to you readers. Hint: COSPLAY. ANIME.

Yes, this girl is a wota. And oh boy is she a wota. I cannot even begin to fathom the depths of her devotion. She enjoys playing anime songs on the piano, is a member of the NMB Otaku trio (as mentioned in my first post with Mayu!) and regularly cosplays for Handshake events. And she goes all out for these too. Full wig, costume, etc. And owns her own maid costume, which she sported on the recent Naniwa Nadeshiko Ep17! I won't spoil anything about that episode, but I highly suggest you all download and watch it to get a small glimpse at this girl in action.

Some of you may recall her from Star Hime, as the bumbling audtionee who was placed behind Miyuki. She was wearing what I'm assuming, were gym clothes and had a twin-tail hair style. She even got interviewed by the camera for a few minutes. Well, according to those clips that included her, it would've been apparent to anyone that she was not particularly skilled at dancing. But something must have caught the judge's attention because she stayed, and I am so happy about that fact.

This girl is NMB48's lethal weapon and should be regarded as such. Personally, I think she out-otakus any 48 members before her, and quite possibly after. Read some of her blog entires, she is quite vocal about everything she likes, and does not hesitate to use words all other idols would omit. To put it bluntly, I am SHOCKED Staff-sans have not banned her from using some of these words, aka: She refers to herself as the 'KimoRanger' which apparently translates to 'disgusting ranger'. Referring to her wota/otaku activities I'd wager.

Personal Opinion: I like this girl. A lot. She was one of the first I ever noticed when the full member list was first released (It's because I'm a lolicon and zero in on the youngest members first, I'm not ashamed to admit it) but I lost track of her for a few months while I disregarded NMB at first. So happy I got back into them. WATCH out for this girl. She is dynamite.

I'm going to slow down a bit for this next one though, and introduce a 2nd Gen member.

Riko Otani

Birthdate: December 11, 1996

Birthplace: Nara, Japan

Height: 149cm

Favorite food: Sweets, ice cream, strawberries, tomatoes (gross)

Siblings: Older brother, she's the youngest!

Well, I'll be honest. Even I know next to nothing about this girl, LOL. She is adorable, just looking at the pictures, but I've yet to see her in action. I blame that mostly on the lack of 2nd Gen LODs and the overall lack of NMB48 Stage LODs. Hopefully that problem shall be rectified presently, but I can only hope.

I've heard it mentioned that her dancing was horrible during the auditions/practice for 2nd Gen debut, but I'm not sure WHERE to find that. My LR *loli-radar* points me towards Star Hime episodes, but I don't have all of them. If anyone reading this can help out, please comment and share with others. Remember, sharing is caring.

But don't let her diminutive size and innocent looks fool you! This girl has been a practitioner of KENDO from the young age of FIVE and holds her first rank! You read that right, this idol can whup your ass with a wooden stick, leaving you all kinds of black and blue.

Personally, I look forward to seeing more of this girl in the future. Hopefully she gets to show case her Kendo skills. So far she is the only girl in the 48 family, that I know of, who actually does the sport (There is speculation that Rena Matsui does this too, but I disagree. You know who you are).

Ah, yes. One of my favorite 2nd Gen girls. Of course, the massive push she gets isn't all for nothing. Apparently, she wow'd the judges, Jurina-Level wow'd I mean. That says a lot because she is younger, by a year, and already exudes talent apparently.

I'm not sure what her favorite food is. I imagine something sweet, but who cares really. Not like I'll ever be buying food for her :b

Hobbies: Gymnastics and Kendo! Holy crow! Another kendo girl?! She is also first rank, and has a medal from gymnastics. For what exactly... I'm not sure! But impressive nonetheless.

This girl is like my little ray of sunshine. Seriously, her smile brightens up anyone's day no matter how bad they're feeling. It's like staring at kittens and rainbows. No use resisting it. In fact, as I'm typing this I have a big, shit-eating grin on my face, hahah.

So, she's sporty, you all understand that. She is also a huge baby. SERIOUSLY. Naniwa Nadeshiko ep12, she gets the Dr. Foot treatment, and not two seconds into it she is quite literally balling her eyes out. High pitched squeals, tears, EVERYTHING. It's hard to even consider she's faking it with how real she sounds. That's not all either! She also cries her eyes out in Docking48 ep28, during the Roller Coaster challenge. It's... Quite the sight to see. Highly recommended. She seems to hold her own just fine in the Naniwa episodes she appears in, acts quite naturally IMO.

It would seem that members have been asked to bring in pictures from their early childhood (ages 3-6 or so) for something yet to be revealed, at least to me. Anyway, Eriko showed everyone her baby picture and the comments all boiled down to this:

"Hasn't changed at all"

Eriko was confused, writing in her blog "What'd they say? What hasn't changed???" Hahah, she's too cute. Ah, for their 2nd single OMG she was named the Akagumi's Captain for the 1st NMB swim competition. IMO, they only did that due to the September Incident that bumped Miyuki and Rina Kondou from the main song and suspended fellow members Akari Yoshida and Shiori Matsuda. However, she did well in her role. At least as well as would be expected from a new-comer thrust into the spot light, apart from the beginning of the video (where her jaw is hanging open LOL, too cute!). Her match-up against Sayaka was a little lopsided (In fact, the teams themselves were incredibly mismatched. WTF staff?!) so, predictably, she lost.

Anyway, this wraps up the Third entry into the NMB series. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I hated writing all this crap. This'll teach me for missing two weeks.

So just a quicky, there is this somewhat new AKB48 show where members preform short skits called ‘Bimyo’. Currently there are eight episodes available. It’s a really funny show and every segment really forces me to burst into uncontrollable laughter. In episode 08 though, (I thought this was a AKB48 show!) there happened to be a segment with the SKE48 members and Jurina was so good in it I just had to write about it.
She’s supposed to be Golgo 13, One of the Anime Legends , a deadly assassin that never misses.

- had some Sukeban Deka vibes the first time I read news about this, but didn't know it was REALLY Sukeban Deka as shown in the SBD48 bit (and yes, I watched Ayaya's SBD movie :D)
- lol what's with Yuko and the iron mask
- so they thrash bad guys with Tengu masks kinda cool, fight scenes are kinda cheap though as expected
- bad guys with guns and all that jazz while SBD48: Yuko = yoyo, Rena = marbles XD Kasai = bandana?

first of all, since this is my first time posting about SKE48's new show SKE48 no Sekai Seifuku Joshi, I just want to say I'm really glad to see Teppei (male MC) in this show. You see he was out of showbiz for a while because of his cancer but was able to come back. And I think up until now he's still battling it. I know he's an SKE fan and I've always loved his interaction with the members before in Ana-ana Shoukai. Seeing him in this show makes it more enjoyable for me.

anyway in episode 1 where they did the Q&A bit, they asked who among the girls like eating sweet potato.

Teppei says if you eat a lot of sweet potato, then its obvious what follows. So they asked which among the girls has heard the other members fart.

its a shocking 39/49!!

then Mizuki suddenly asks if it usually comes out while dancing. The girls went crazy like saying Mizuki is guilty but she denies it. Then suddenly Yukko goes..

Yukko: Just recently I heard Mizuki fart.

Mizuki: No I didn't (she looks so guilty lol)

Yukko: Oh yes you did!

makes me wonder if this happens often during a stage show, would be shit if it makes it in the LOD too. XD

Jurina went defensive though, and says as idols they have an image to protect.

48 Video Diary#3 - Kojiharu Infiltration

so stumbled upon this video and it seems Haruna is gonna be promoting Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

funny bits about this promotion
- there's a tag line that says: Spring (haru) has come into Kojima Productions. So haru = spring = Kojiharu (Haruna's nickname)
- on the video you see Haruna changing one kanji in Kojima Productions. You see, the director of Kojima Productions is Hideo Kojima, and although when pronounced they have the same last name. One kanji is different so Haruna changes that.

I'm a big fan of Metal Gear, so this clash of fandoms is definitely a treat for me. Seems that vid was just a teaser so expect more coming soon. I personally want to see her use the cardboard box. XD

in SKE48's show SKE48 no Magical Radio there has been this recurring segment were Director Rena suddenly does this random monologue whenever someone mentions the possibility of the radio show being axed. Its always a treat to see Rena here, because she plays a lot of characters. From a drunkard to an ikemen, and I guess we''ll see more.

this one has got to be my favorite so far..

At first she talks about being cursed, and turning into a "norowaredi" (its a play on "norawareru", meaning to be cursed, and "di" which is director = norowaredi = cursed director) People starts avoiding her and she ends up living alone in a tall tower. Then one day a prince comes up to her, talking in foreign flavored japanese and offers to kiss her to break the curse. But shy Rena keeps on saying no and refuses to give him her first kiss.

i swear, this show be fucked up.

Mousou Deka Alternative Sequel…

Instead of a detective, Jurina seems to be some kind of loli psychiatrist.
Show should’ve been named Radio Mousou Seishinkai in that case….

Any who, in episode 01, Director Rena’s radio is going under so they decide to bring in some fresh blood to spice things up and avoid losing listeners.

Enter Jurina who comes baring gifts (Lots and lots of gifts) who is hired as the fresh personality and rival to Akane.

Rena seems very happy about Jurina’s arrival. Hmmm…I didn’t know there was a pedo waiting to be awaken in her as well. Oh well.

Shiori is the assistant of the day.

My reaction was all four!

Jurina is of course very nervous on her first day (despite having experience in acting since she was already on TV before it seems)
and so she kinda messes up.
Akane-senpai has her back though.

It’s when they receive a call from a troubled teen (~~Yuka~~ ~~N.Yuka~~ Nakanishi Yuka) seeking advice, that Jurina channels her Mousou powers and comes to the rescue.

Caller Yuka wants to be an Idol but everyone makes fun of her boyish looks and she wonders if she should giver up on her dream.

Jurina magically (magic is all about illusions, right?) transforms into none other than Marilyn Monroe as she proceeds to tell said woman’s tale to Yuka who is brought to tears and her confidence in herself restores for her to pursue her dream.

As expected, ratings go up at the touching story and great resolution. Everyone is very impressed…Well…almost every one.

The Producer doesn’t seem very happy. And here he thought it was finally time for the show to not go on. Oh well, he will have to do something about it as he leaves in that Oh so very predictable bad-guy atmo.

PS: Jurina remembers not what she did while in Mousou mode.

PPS: I tried to shorten Yuka's name (in the strike outs) but then realized that no matter which way I cut it, it would still be the same as Nakamura Yuka's.

it hit me today that since the blog is already gearing towards more personalized posts about anything 48 universe related whether its some old, new, cute, pervy, lulzy or whatnot, so might as well go on with the trend I guess.

this bit as it says, my video diary. I'll post stuff I get to watch during my free time and post about them. Just a warning though, most of it is gonna be at random so not all episodes of a show would make it and ofc spoilers if the video is not old that is. Also, since I don't have much idol time anymore, its gonna be mostly short posts and stuff I find interesting.

so anyway I watched an episode of SHUKAN AKB yesterday and it was all about the "common sense test". Turns out some members are.. well mentally challenged? But the one who turned out to be the stupidest of them all is no surprise. XD

So, how is everyone? I'll bet you all were waiting for this next post, huh?

Yes! She is Kanna Shinohara, aka Kanchiru! And one of the younger first gen members (14 years-old)

Also, coincidentally, one of the taller members (at 161.5 cm or 5'2") of NMB48. Which seems to be a trend with this group for some reason.

I like to list members default information first. Hobbies, favorites, etc. Things all fans want to know, but no one cares to list it in their wikis and such. I guess not everyone can be a sponge like myself, kekeke *self-gloating*

Favorite food is.... Fruit parfait

Kanna's hobbies are listed in her blog as: Dance and calligraphy

Favorite colors are: pink, black, and yellow. Not really an interesting choice, cause black goes with just about everything. Except fuschia.

Favorite characters (cartoon, anime): Minnie Mouse, and Sanrio (read: Hello Kitty) characters.

She is crazy about leopard print goods. Which means, things like teddy bears, etc. with leopard print are great.

Has two older siblings. A brother 9 years older, and a sister 8 years older (23 and 22 respectively). This is assuming I read it right though.

Favorite school subject! Physical Education (P.E.)!! Worst subjects! Everything else!

At least she is honest about it, lol.

Kanna has also been told that she looks 20 years old rather than 14 by her dance teacher before. Which is completely understandable.

She also has this adorable little dog, named Wawan-chan. I think thats his/her name. Anyway, little dog. It's cute. Moving on!

She seems to have a good relationship with most everyone of the group, but then again that's part of what I like about NMB. Everyone genuinely seems to get along. Nothing seems to be fake, but who knows really.

I can't really say anything bad about this girl... But then again I can't really say anything good about her either. She seems to be a good performer, but she's young and still can build up, work on a few things, etc. However, she's adorable. Being chosen for Team N at her young age though should act as a testament to her hard work and skills.

Although, she did kick ass in Ohayo Asahi Desu ep19. They went to this stunt actior's school and learned to fall with bungees, use trampolines for kicks, etc. And even filmed their own little action short for the end of the episode. All this just seems to fit right in with her interests, and honestly she seemed to take to it all rather easily, compared to the other two with her.

Nana Yamada and Yuuki Yamaguchi were in this episode as well. Check it out if you want to see this youngster in motion!

Idol Issues #1 - Akarin wants bazongas

in a special show: SKE48 no Hit Shouhin Kenkyu~ Jogakuen where some members of SKE48 where invited to feature some products, it came to a point where they were asked about girl issues which this particular brand of clothing could possibly solve.

Akarin answered something like: (this product) can make your breasts look massive.

host Yama-chan wonders why she answered like that and asked if that's one of her issues. She answered No.. in a very obvious tone that she's lying lol.

maybe she wants to have more, like Seira's pokemons. :V

Kyon Presents.... NMB48!

So, hina has kindly begged... I mean, asked me to shed some light and share my opinion on the relatively new NMB group. She's done this mostly because I've taken to them like white on rice (:D) and thus have amassed much information and general knowledge of the group, more so than herself. :P

I'll probably be spreading this out among a few different posts, maybe daily/bi-weekly/weekly until I feel that all of the girls (I will be picking and choosing among NMB kenkyuusei, cause honestly they're KKS. They aren't relevant until they're in a team) have properly had their introductions.

Now, most of the time someone would start off with the most popular/iconic members. The equivalent of AKB's Maeda Atsuko/Oshima Yuko/Takahashi Minami, or SKE's Rena/Jurina Matsui or even Kumi Yagami.

I will not go that route. Instead, I will opt for the member that, I feel, seems to have the most public presence, one who doesn't just sit back and accept things like a typical Japanese citizen. A "rule breaker" if you will. The person who will see the big, red button that says "DO NOT PRESS" and press it.

And that girl is none other....

Than Mayu Ogasawara.

Yes! Mayu Ogasawara, otherwise known as Maa-chun! There really is nothing NOT to love about this girl, she appeals to many different audiences.

For instance, did you know that she is part of NMB's Otaku trio consisting of herself, fellow 1st gen Momoka Kinoshita, and 2nd gen Mao Mita?

Probably not if you don't read their blogs religiously (I tend to read blogs rather than the newspaper for my mornings LOL. News is... Depressing).

The Official NMB48 site woefully lacks personal information about the girls, in fact they don't even give their three sizes, or general favorites! (Possible complete book coming soon???)

So, I'm afraid I can't share too, too much information, for fear of boring the reader, and most of everything that I've garnered has been through blogs, (Yay, obsessions!)

Anyways, some miscellaneous info about our lovely Maa-chun:

Her favorite color is ORANGE, but she likes any bright colors basically (which is it!)

She absolutely LOVES an anime called [Yes! プリキュア5] "Yes! PreCure5"

This is her favorite season, which from what I've researched is your typical Magical Girl genre anime. Apparently has lots of goods from this series too D:

Also, besides that anime series, she loves Crayon Shin-chan.

My opinion of that anime is as follows: If that were my child, I would've drowned him

in a bath tub by the age of seven. Just saying.

However, the anime itself is hilarious and I highly recommend it. :D

Her favorite movies are: The Cat Returns (a Studio Ghibli flick), Death Note, and some Crayon Shin-chan movie, I think it's Hernando's Big Adventure or something. Mayu also has a very healthy relationship with Sayaka Yamamoto (Sayane, also the Team N Captain), in fact, I believe you rarely see those two apart when they're together.

She is the middle child of three, one older sister and one younger :O

She is 14 now (her birthday was recently on Oct 14)

Tennis was the answer, albeit her hint didn't exactly leave much room for speculation. Hahah. Other than that, she also enjoys skating. Whether that's roller blading, or ice-skating, I'm not sure. She didn't specify, so I assume it means all skating. D:

As for siblings, if I'm reading this correctly, she has two older sisters, and one younger brother. So, four kids... Seems like a lot for a Japanese family, but oh well!

*In retrospect, I do realize that I started this with Team E, however I became extremely busy immediately after posting that initial presentation. I WILL pick up where I left with that, however, those girls seem to have a lot of exposure already, well most of them. So I will focus more on my current NMB obsession, and then finish SKE's up. There are really only three girls I like from Team E, and about six over all from SKE, so I'm not in much of a hurry for them :P Especially since I believe I've found my OSHI for all the 48 groups finally. And Team N is just full of win.
