This is a great point. The minute you start getting “comfortable” at a job, it’s high time to start moving on. I’ve never had to face this feeling of “comfort” myself as I get antsy the minute things start getting stale but important to be careful of.

Very well written and complete. The only thing I would emphasize is that there’s no one job for 40 years and the key is to keep the momentum and stay moving. I too am guilty of being comfortable, but to learn and grow we have to move around. Too hard to plan for the future without much true life experience

Depends on what your real objective is. If you’re only looking for a clean vehicle to drive around without promo stickers all over it, they will remove them if they want your patronage. If they don’t want to remove them, you still give them an option where you could win. This is really about not compromising on what you want (especially when you’re in a stronger bargaining position).

Unfortunately, Opera uses Ogg Theora for HTML5 video support and Vimeo uses H.264. There’s not much I can do about that short of suggesting you install Flash on your browser or downloading the Presentation PDF linked above.
