R&R is in downtown DC near the Union Station Metro. It’s recommended to cab from the Metro. There USED to be a shuttle. Street parking is pretty easy around the area. Please check the R&R Hotel website for specific info.

The show is no cover and all ages. I know that’s incredible, right!?

Despite the fact that lead singer, Justin, lost his voice just hours before the show, the band pushed forward with a strong set–led in vocals by the show-tune singing guitar player, yours truly (Jack).

When we heard that we won the night and were going to the finals… well I don’t have the vocabulary to describe the feeling. I was happy to know that a pool of judges chose us instead of some anonymous online voting or text message deal. On top of all the excitement of moving to the finals, we got to share the stage with some awesome bands and friends too! Woohoo!

The finals are this Sunday afternoon at the Auld Shebeen in Fairfax VA. It’s a 21+ event since it’s sponsored by Guinness.

So anyway, set your TiVo for the NFL Sunday and get your butt to Fairfax to cheer us to victory!

Since my birthday always falls on Thanksgiving break, I rarely get any attention. It’s a load of garbage, frankly.

To make up for years of neglect, you can now celebrate my birthday at the Auld Shabeen in Fairfax on December 1st!

We’re in the SeeJoeRock battle of the bands. I can’t think of a better birthday present than to spend the evening with you and win the battle!
