I have a system. I grow my hair long the entire year and come March-slash-April, I cut it short to endure the humidity. Remember my Posh hairstyle? But this month, I did not have a choice. Okay, I hate saying that phrase. There is always a choice but I chose to go with the haircut. You see, the other morning I woke up with a lock of hair beside me. Does that sound scary? Not to exaggerate but it was a lot more hair than the normal amount that would fall off. Basta. I know my hair. I know my scalp. My history of AA – once when I was a baby, one time right around HS graduation and 2 times in college – taught me a lot of things. When I have more than-the-usual hair fall, I immediately check for bald spots and thank goodness, I didn’t find any this time! Then I make sure I take vitamins everyday. Get enough sleep, rest and let go of all the stress in life. And of course…

I had to. Else, there will be unequal distribution of nutrients to my hair follicles.

So yes, I had a 15-dollar haircut which I swore to myself I’ll never get here in SG. But Oreo of Propaganda is too far away.

Well, anyway…it’s nice naman pala.

I love love love chicken wings as a child but as I grew up, I think I had too much that I switched to pork belly as my favorite sinful meat. But today, oh my!

So Randy and I met at the ION Orchard Food Opera for dinner. He waited until we got there before telling me he wasn’t too keen on having dinner at that place. So fine, we decided to get Filipino food at Lucky Plaza instead. But I had to pee so I told him to check the magazine stand for the new issue of Allure for me while I hurry to the washroom. Five minutes (or so) later, I couldn’t find him by the magazine stand. But I browsed through the magazines anyway. Then I heard my name. “Taste this! It’s like Max…but better! We’re eating there!” Pointing to the restaurant we’ve never seen before – 4Fingers BonChon Crispy Chicken. Folks from the establishment we’re giving away free samplers. Gaaaah! Sarap!

There was no need to talk about it…4Fingers it is!
