If you are not indulging yourself in some great American pies then you are sadly missing out on a great part of life. Especially since today is National Pie Day. National Pie Day was created by the American Pie Council to celebrate the enjoyment of baking and eating pies. So what will you be doing to celebrate this day. Perhaps you will bake yourself a pie, or perhaps you will get someone else to bake one for you, or maybe you will decide to go out in North Hollywood and find a nice bakery to eat at. You decide. Although National Pie Day is today it doesn’t mean that today is the only day that you can celebrate. The Best Bars in North Hollywood

This may be one of the best times of the year to go and explore your local bar. College football has just ended, the NFL Playoffs are in full swing and from the look of the past NBA games this is going to be one interesting NBA season full of twists and turns throughout the entire season. Although you could take comfort in watching the games from the comfort of your apartment in NoHo14, NoHo14 is situated in such a way that you are convenient to many of the restaurants and attractions in the North Hollywood/Los Angeles area. Which is perfect for going out and trying new bars to watch all of these games at! Deal bargain sites such as Groupon, Deal Find, and Living Social can also aid you in saving some money at some of these fine establishments as well. So which local bar will you be at this weekend?

Celebrate New Year Again!

If the multitude of holiday celebrations that have recently occurred have left you in the holiday mood and wanting more then you are in for a treat. There is one New Year that has yet to occur. That would be the Chinese Year. The Chinese New Year is celebrated on January 23rd. Being in Hollywood, California gives you a great opportunity to be apart of some great Chinese New Year celebrations. And of course a great tradition cannot be held without some good eats to accompany it. One place you may want to try out to bring in the Chinese New Year is Hop Li Chinese Restaurant.

If you were to ever say there is nothing to do in Los Angeles, California it would be surefire to say that you are greatly mistaken. With the variety of cultures and people that live in the city alone it is more than enough to offer you something to do on a weekly basis if not on a daily basis. Hence, one of the great reasons to stay at NoHo 14! Along with the great variety of things to do in the city you also have access to some nearby sports bars in North Hollywood. Why would that be important? Well, the NFL playoffs are in full swing and with the go hard or go home mentality that is show on the field it leads to some great games to watch. It is quite entertaining residing at NoHo14. With all of the attractions and services that are available in and near the city of Los Angeles, it is quite easy to get wrapped up in it all and emerge yourself into the whole social scene that is available on a regular basis. While you are going to and fro on all your adventures are you sure that you are paying your fair share when you go out? I mean of course you pay the tab that is presented to you but are you paying for your services accurately. There is a broad spectrum to some when it comes to how much you should tip the services that you receive. So much so that Yahoo has even come up with some general guidelines you should follow when going out. Who knew that the services of a barista warranted a tip sometimes? Not I. If you have resided in Los Angeles for awhile then you know that the city of Los Angeles alone is filled with talent. With the many production studios and clubs that surround you you probably have seen first hand all the talent that abounds you. Or maybe you are apart of the talented few. If you are then you should consider auditioning for the next season of America’s Got Talent which will hold there next auditions at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on February 11th and February 12th.
