Celebrate the 4th of July in North Hollywood!

There are many different Fourth of July celebrations in North Hollywood. On July 2, you can attend the  Barry Manilow Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl. There are the Fourth of July Firework Cruises at the Ocean Institute on July 4th. Don’t forget about the Wine and Fireworks Harbor Cruises. Stay safe while having fun in the NoHo14 pool!

• Take a class to learn the basics of life-saving so you can assist if there is a pool emergency.

• Learn how to perform CPR on both children and adults. It’s important that you update your skills on a regular basis.

• If you haven’t already done so, learn how to swim and teach your children how to swim as well.

• Keep your cellphone close by when you are in the spa or pool.

• Make sure you keep your children away from pipes, drains and other openings to avoid entrapments.

The Hollywood Market is a “certified” open-air street market loaded with your favorite fresh fruits and vegetables brought in by more 90 farmers. The market is open every Sunday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are ready for you every Sunday.

Parking is only $2 for two hours at the Cinerama Dome. Metered parking is available at the LA Film School, Ivar and Sunset. Some meters are free until 11 a.m.

This market often features more than 30 local artisans, as well as 30 prepared food vendors selling products such as honey, fish, free-range poultry and eggs, bison meat, gouda cheese, olives, mushrooms, sprouts, jams, jellies, fruit juices, specialty sauces and dips, dried fruit and nuts, an espresso cart, Mexican, Caribbean, Middle-Eastern and many other ethnic foods.

Recipes in the kitchen of your NoHo14 apartment taste much better with fresh ingredients. The trip to the Hollywood Farmer’s Market has what you need.
