If you've read this blog before you know that I'm a skeptic. Particularly about online shops marketing pro-health and welfare merchandises. I have explored various websites and I've gathered information on Cellphone EMFs and their negative results of cell phone radiation. That was in part the reason I had headaches and I was fatigue at that time. So I have invested a small amount of money in the EMF Anti-Radiation Protector strip. This is the official demonstration of Symbian Anna running on the Nokia N8 at the Nokia Connection 2011 in Singapore. I have talked about Anna a little in the past. Although it's just released, people started roumors about the next Symbian OS: Belle

Symbian Anna main features:

Nokia Announce Their First 1GHz Phone

Since the launch of the iPhone, Nokia has struggled to regain their place as the number one mobile phone brand. With reported losses of £427 million in the second quarter of 2011, the Finnish brand is doing everything they can to try and claw their way back up the smartphone ladder. It has been well publicised that, from late 2011, all their smartphones will run on the Window Phone 7 operating system, and this month saw the announcement of Nokia’s latest offensive: their first Symbian-powered 1GHz mobile phone.

Dubbed the ‘Nokia 500’, the new handset has been called ‘the world’s fastest affordable phone’. As well as the impressive 1GHz processor, the device will have a 5-megapixel camera, a music player and a FM and Internet radio. It will also come preloaded with a wide range of entertainment apps including Shazam Encore, Lonely Planet guides and Gig Finder, as well as the social networking heavyweights like Facebook and Twitter. The phone will also feature the latest version of Nokia Maps, which is optimised for social networking and features pedestrian and vehicle offline navigation with voice guidance

Speaking about the 500, Nokia’s vice-president Ilari Nurmi said, “Until now, price accessible smart phones often meant low quality on its hardware. This is another example of Nokia’s continuous innovation commitment within the smartphone portfolio and an example of how Symbian can help capitalize market opportunities in the next few years”.

A black version of the Nokia 500 will be available from the 3rd quarter of 2011, with a white model following before the end of the year. Both colour variants come with interchangeable back covers. Further colours and designs will become available throughout next year. It is expected to be priced around £150.

Here are some tips you should know about Nokia N8 camera:

Start N8 Camera Fast
You can start fast the camera application by pushing the shutter button.

Switch to 16:9 image capture
go to Options > Settings > Image Quality > Print 9M (large)

Disable N8 camera capture sound
Start camera, go to Options > Settings > Capture tone > Off

Set your own scene mode by default:
Select the wrench key from main camera app screen.
Select Scene Mode (upper left of the screen)
Select M (User Defined) > Edit
From there make your own settings, but don't forget to change "Set as default scene mode" to "Yes".

Other Nokia N8 camera tips:
Red Eye Reduction does not work that well, so you should disable it and fix the eyes in photoshop.
Sometimes the pictures needs more contrast. Set it from your manual scene mode.

Opera Mobile & Mini
Opera is the best Nokia N8 alternative browser.
pros: It's really fast and has qwerty keyboard in portrait mode. Fluid/quick navigation.
cons: No Flash support, facebook pictures really small

UC Browser
UC browser is an a colorful alternative to N8's native browser. It's pretty fast, but I have not managed to save facebook password. I need to insert it everytime I access the website. No Flash support. Low ram consumption.

It appears that mobile phone provider O2 has come out on top in the latest study into mobile broadband speeds...

The latest study has been undertaken by Ofcom, who unearthed a number of interesting revelations for the various leading mobile phone providers, some of which will be more welcome than others.

Both Orange and T-Mobile will be forced to double their efforts, as it was revealed that their latest “Everything Everywhere” venture suffers from speeds that are slower than other leading providers, including Three, O2 and Vodafone.

Ofcom's testing of the different providers has been noted as incredibly thorough and comprehensive, incorporating data from a whopping 4.2 million unique speed tests; it has managed to reveal several key differences with the services provided by the various networks.

One of its most interesting findings showed that O2 was faster than all other network operators during the peak evening period of 8-10pm. O2 also managed to notch up another victory over web page download tests; they were faster than the other top four operators in downloading the full HTML (with the exception of images) of some of the United Kingdom's most popular web sites.

The testing will come as unwelcome news to some of the operators, as it serves to highlight that there is clearly still big differences in the quality of services offered by the various leading providers. Smartphone users around the UK will undoubtedly be using the newly available information to influence their choice of network provider.

The Nokia N8, Finnish mobile giant Nokia's high end smartphone, has attracted a lot of interest since its release last year. The phone boasts the best version of Symbian yet with a more interactive interface and a better browser than any other Nokia smartphone yet.

What sets the phone apart from the competition though is its camera. The Nokia N8 has probably the best camera on any phone on the market currently, it boasts 12 megapixels, has the biggest image sensor out of all its rivals and, with f/2.8 aperture and 5.9mm focal length, it is a camera that beats many of the cheap digital cams on the high street.

This domination in terms of camera phones has not gone unnoticed and it has been revealed that photographer Jason Hawkes will use the N8 to undertake his new aerial photography project.

Hawkes has in the past photographed countries such as Norway, Colombia, Morocco and the USA from the sky and his latest task is to take photos of Great Britain using a phone, the N8. Hawkes spoke of the use of having a good camera with him all the time on his phone, praising the Nokia N8 for its ease of use.

Hawkes said "My main attraction to this project was they say that the best camera you have is the one you have on you. I don't always have my camera equipment with me but I always have my mobile and the N8 has a 12-megapixel camera with truly amazing image quality.
By its very definition, aerial photography is very difficult to do, so we're pushing the limits of this camera as far as we can go."

John Nichols, of Nokia UK, added: "HD Horizons is the most exciting challenge yet for the Nokia N8, but we are always looking for new ways to push its capabilities."
