elik + afsi is the brainchild of Elika Mojtabaei and Afsaneh Visseh. Their educational backgrounds are quite diverse, Elika studied Psychology and French, and Afsaneh Aerospace Engineering, but their love of fashion brought them together. In 2010 they each decided to further their education in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing respectively. Having spent most of their lives in opposite corners of the world with Afsaneh in Tehran and Elika in Vancouver, they met through a mutual friend and quickly got the idea to start a fashion brand in early 2012; and thus elik + afsi was born.

elik + afsi inspires to bring colour into your wardrobe. With all fabric patterns hand-drawn and created by the designers, they strive to craft a mosaic of their cultural heritage while staying true to the demands of modern life. The brand is also committed to using only the highest quality natural and low-impact fabrics.
