All I’ve posted until now is the silly-but-irresistible NYC street sign and I have had lots of bits of beauty loveliness I’ve been meaning to share *pulls finger out* …

Speaking of which, first up is this new, limited edition, shimmery nail polish (£4.90) from KIKO Make Up Milano (don’t you feel you need to be sitting in a pavement café sipping a latte when you say that?) …

I really like this sweet, budget make-up range from Italy (available at the, right now, three London KIKO boutiques and online).

At £4.90 a pop of summer-fabulous colour, the polishes go on nice and evenly and the colour lasts pretty well (pictured above is the Amable Chartruese, but I’ve been wearing the Chili Pepper Red on my toes. And not just because it’s easier to pronounce).

This part fortnight or so, I’ve also been super-WOW’ed by the Nude skincare range, loved by the beauty pack and ‘green’ skincare buffs as it’s a super-natural one based on ‘nutrition for the skin’ featuring probiotics and Omega oils.

It was co-founded by Bryan Meehan, organic health grande fromage (an organic one, obviously) and Ali Hewson – Bono’s wife, by the woo-hoo-and-all-that way! More here).

The ProGenius Treatment Oil (£58), designed to be used on its own or before moisturiser, is definitely in the ‘luxe splash out’ category, but I am positive my skin looks a million times better when I use it.

Don’t be put off by the ‘oil’ word. It’s not even a serum. It’s like a silky-fine liquid that glides over the face (I’ve been using it at night, and sometimes in the morning before my tinted moisturiser).

I also love using the Perfect Cleansing Oil (£28), which, again, is totally un-icky and does an AMAZING job of whisking off make-up and grime and leaving skin noticeably softer and glowier-looking.

And last, but not least, this Wednesday evening: seeing as the sunshine looks like it’s making a comeback (don’t say it!!), a shout-out goes to two AMAZING heel transformers: Suti Fabulous Organic Foot Balm (£16) …

… available from the wonderful My Beauty Emporium - which I discovered writing this guest blog!

And this awesome, seriously intensive goodie from the truly FABULOUS This Works (£16) …

I’m keeping it with my tights and trainer socks!

Because the only extra height I want on my heels is from my wedges (if you know what I mean).

JUST like one my Sindy had. Except bigger (obviously).

But the background is the best: I was given it by a friend of ours from church who was visiting from the States, where she has returned after looking after her beloved late Mama here.

And this suitcase (and the little vanity one that’s hidden inside!!) belonged to her.

Which, honestly, makes it more special than anything else.
